I think that you shouldn’t just go on rollar coasters because your scared of it depending on what they look like from the ground, you should not let it stop you..don’t let your fear take over. I’ve been on the worlds steepest dive coaster, yeah sure it looks scary from the ground..so what..do it anyways. I discovered it was the best coaster I have ever been on. I expected for the train to come to a halt on the lift hill before launch. And all of a sudden, off we went. Never screamed so hard in my life 😊 Amazing ride
This was my first real roller coaster and let me tell you I was panicking in the line before we went lol. The worst part is being in the launch tube thing and waiting for the ride to start. After my first ride I couldn’t get enough, I went 3 more times that day. The restraints are perfect and as long as you keep your head pressed back against the seat you have nothing to worry about. Amazing and fun, 10/10!!
I absolutely love this coaster. When you go through the tunnel it practically spits you out, so u get this rushing feeling, as if it were a drop, and it’s amazing.10/10 would recommend
@Galaxyfnaf And Dino try not to worry about inversions too much! it literally just feels like going upside down but once you get the hang of it you're able to ride SO many more
This was actually the first roller coaster I rode... ever. I was too scared as a kid to try other roller coasters out but on the summer of my freshman year in highschool, my family took a trip to Universal and I swore to myself that I wasn’t going to just chicken out in everything. Needless to say, after this ride, I fell absolutely in love with roller coasters. And yes, I did end up riding almost everything there during that trip. I really wanna go back soon.
I was terrified of this ride when I first got on line. It was my first big ride. The only reason I didn't like Roller Coasters is because of the stomach feeling and surprisingly you don't get that on this ride. It's a smooth fun ride and you don't even feel the loops. After the ride you'll want to go on again.
I need to tell this to people that are afraid to ride this brilliant foaled coaster . When I was 8 years old I came across the ride and I told my parents I was to scared. Went agian when I was 11 went twice Friday and Saturday still didn’t have the gut to go , went agian a couple of years later didn’t want to go , then now the last time I went to universal I faced my fears and rode it let me tell you that when I rode this it was the best thing . It felt like you were flying it was incredible I want people that are going and are afraid to ride this remember fear is something in your head and when you face it you just battled your fear and when you think of that fear constantly you get frustrated which makes you think about the negative things.
I’ve been twice and never had the guts to go on it (super scared of roller coasters) but I’m going again this week and I’m talking myself into going on it with my mom bc my brother who is normally her roller coaster buddy isn’t going with us 😬
@@jaketewksbury1971 no I ended up running out of time unfortunately. Had some another family there with mine and the plan was to split up to cover more ground but we never did so we were kinda slow moving
@@_colton_6452 I just went on velocicoaster, which is only my third coaster besides one in some indoor mall and the Mummy. Definitely a massive leap, but if I did it, you can ride this one. It’s not as crazy as velocicoaster from what I’ve heard. I was scared as shit the whole time, but it felt good getting through it. Maybe I’ll do the Hulk finally next time.
This ride is amazing!!! I’m usually really scared of roller coaster and I HATE it when it drops. But this one was scary at all. I’m glad that I ride this one, it was amazing. I was laughing the whole time when I was on the ride. It look really scary but it actually really fun. It make you want to ride more rather than make you scared and regret riding it. Definitely ride this when you are at the Island Adventures!!!
just rode on this today. as someone who has always been scared of roller coasters, and this being my first time riding on one, this was not only intense but also pretty fun in general. it’s a huge adrenaline rush during blast off and the first few seconds of the ride. be aware that throughout this ride you feel something known as the g forces, which mostly feels like pressure on your head/shoulders/chest/etc. the g forces almost made me pass out on this ride. i was in too much shock to react during the ride. it’s like being slung out of a slingshot during blast off. it wasn’t something i expected. also, i almost broke my neck during the abrupt slow-down. try to be careful when that happens. otherwise, if you’re someone who loves adrenaline rushes and g forces, i highly recommend this ride. if you’re someone who doesn’t like that or loop-de-loops and going upside down, don’t go on this ride. my rate: 4.5 out of 5
@@memetrones8340 velocicoster is the best. but this ride is amazing since it gets zero line time because of harry potter fans flocking to hogsmeade and everyone else going to velocicoster
I didn't know about the launch. So I'm literally on the ride, going "Woah, this is sick..." And then it launches and you fly out... Ooooh it felt so good! I rode it twice, once in the front and once in the back. At the back it feels so much better, the little drop after the first break run feels amazing. Best coaster at Universal in my opinion!
I was pretty nervous to get onto this ride, especially considering this was my first roller coaster ever, but as soon as the blast-off was finished, and I was flying around, I felt so happy, even during it all. I definitely underestimated the happiness and adrenaline I would feel on this roller coaster. It was a truly amazing first ride, and I am so glad this ride was the first one I would ever go on.
I haven’t been on this in years. Still one of my favorite and most memorable coasters. The shoot out at the middle of the exit tunnel is a hell of a surprise
This is ride is beyond amazing! Often times I feel like it’s underrated and sometimes overlooked as a top quality coaster. That launch is ridiculous which adds to the trill
is there anything better than this? did the harry potter one and had more fear, didnt enjoy it as much, this one was like a drug, it felt like heaven, is there a better one? btw only done those 2, harry potter was awesome as well but idk this one was like sex or better
When I was at the park, I saw this ride and hesitated to go on it, but after going on it, it was the best ride ever. It’s like you are upside down the whole time and has so much G force. You feel pushed back in your seat the whole time. Amazing
This was the first real roller coaster I ever rode, during my 8th grade trip to Islands. Seriously one of my favorite memories ever. I was doubting myself the entire line, ready to tell my friends I was turning around and would see them once they got off. So happy I didn’t do that. I opted for the 3rd row or so, but wow. My hands were as up as possible during the first loop. Now there’s no fear, only excitement.
I went on this ride yesterday and it was literally the best launch coaster in the world! It’s so energetic and the inversions are perfectly placed really great rollercoaster
Before I went on this, I was feeling a little anxious. I’ve only been on one roller coaster in my life, but that was pretty mild compared to this one. When I got on and was going up the tube, I was feeling a little scared, and when it was blasting off, I was screaming, but when it was going I felt excitement; adrenaline pumping through me! While I am yet to become a roller coaster junkie, I would definitely go on this ride again, and would recommend to everyone else that hasn’t been on it yet. It’s like everyone’s saying: the scary part is the blast off; after that, it’s exciting!
@@7ryan Not likely. There are metal detectors and staff checking for loose items, specifically hats and glasses, ever since a guy lost an eye on a coaster here in 2011.
I usually don’t like roller coasters....but when I rode this on my last trip to universal, I couldn’t help but want to ride it over & over again. So fun!
This was the second roller coaster I had ever been on (my first being the Comet at Hershey Park), and I'm glad to see that it still looks like a total blast.
Boi it was just my first time riding it and it was AWESOME. I ended up riding it twice. (Even more if there was not a bunch of stuff.) can’t wait to go again, but with Ripsaw Falls and Popeye!
You shouldn't be going on roller-coasters if you pass out that easily. This ride is nothing compared to others not saying its bad but I've been on much more aggressive rides in many different states.
Dude, I went on the Hulk rollercoaster at my 11th birthday on first row in 2012. An awesome experience. I hope one day I can return to Orlando to ride this again 😌.

Synergy it’s a headbanger, and is rough, although not nearly as bad as it was before the retrack. It has a good layout and amazing theming along with onboard audio which helps make up for its flaws.
The first time I rode this was about 15 years ago and this is still my favorite all time roller coaster. Even waiting in the line was atmospheric because you hear a bunch of loud sirens and then an earthquake like blast. I also like the people on the screens walking into the labs and turning into their own Hulks. I love this ride so much.
This ride introduced me to thrill rides. A few weeks ago I went to isles of adventure. First I rode this then dooms fearfall and velocicoaster, it’s safe to say that this ride is amazing!
I’m about to go on this tomorrow, I’m a little nervous but seeing how almost all the comments are people saying it looks a lot scarier than it really is and they thought they’d hate it but then they loved it makes me feel much better:) Edit: now that I’ve been on it, wow!! The ride is so smooth and fast, you take off and it just HAPPENS. It was almost soothing which I saw some people say already but I just want to point out that they were right! I went on Velocicoaster after that and that one is a LOT worse even though it looks tamer from the outside
i just went on the velocicoaster yesterday as the first real roller coaster ive been on. im planning to go on this one today, glad to hear its not as bad haha!
@@maddwinter I wasn’t kidding about the relaxing part tho - it could be because I usually like roller coasters, but imo it’s like: the Hulk feels like you’re flying a plane going really really fast. Velocicoaster feels like you’re on a bull that’s trying to kick you off LOL
@@kaylasilverstein4137 just did incredible hulk! ong about velocicoaster... i was gripping those handles so hard i had bruises the next day and my legs are still sore from being so tense loll. im very happy hulk had the shoulder restraints instead of the lap ones like on velocicoaster, felt a lot more secure:) thanks for all the comments!
The worst bit is were you look at the people leave the station when your about to get on it because you think “how can those people be brave enough to conquer that layout” It’s so scary
I’ve been coming to Orlando for years and at 27 years old never ridden an extreme rollercoaster or an inversion. Going again this Sept & i really want to get over the fear but how do you do it lol :(
It's really not that scary of a rollercoaster. You don't really feel the inversions, all the loops and all that jazz. If I'm going to be completely honest. the only part where you 'feel' it is right at the beginning when the coaster takes off. I would ride it at least once! :) Have a nice trip!!(I honestly hate coasters with drops but I don't even know how many times I rode this one, around 6-7 I think!)
It’s in your head. Always looks worse from the ground. The unknown experience is scarier than the actual ride. Trust me. I have a fear of loops on coasters, yet I was forced onto Mind Bender at Six Flags as a teen and immediately rode it again after. Then fear creeped back in over time. Rode Aerosmith’s Rock n’ Roller Coaster a year ago not realizing what it was (because it’s enclosed and you can’t see it) and I LOVED it. Came home and still had the courage from that so I rode a loop coaster at a nearby theme park. I say all that to say this...despite the most fun I’ve had on coasters being in those with loops and inversions, I still get scared. Didn’t have the nerve to ride Hulk a month ago even though my teenage kids told me it’s not near as scary as it looks. I know I’ll love it if I can get past the anxiety of getting on it. So, just do it. And then do it again. You’ll be glad you did.
My personal experience? Honestly scream, Idk why but for me yelling when there's a big launch always helps me conquer that butterfly feeling when doing that slow climb at the start
I hopped onto this ride, i thought it was gonna be so much worse. The blast doesn’t even feel THAT intense, it’s just for very few seconds. It’s super short, you don’t even get to feel that you’re falling. Didn’t even shout, it was amazing:)
As a kid I was so scared of every roller coaster no matter how intense, I would always go to Disney world (because I had multiple family members that worked for them) and even rides like thunder mountain and space mountain were too terrifying to ride I would actually cry at the thought. That was until I took a fifth grade trip to universal. I would always see the hulk in pictures and it was in the back of my mind until the day came. I was stern in my views at first before a little bit of peer pressure and realizing I was being a total buzzkill for everyone in my group brought me to the realization that I have to ride this thing. The queue was horribly long and it was moving horrible slow, adding to the torment my soul was going through, and when we finally get to the station the guy working the seat picks our group out of the hundreds of people waiting and says “you guys wanna be up front?” Followed by my entire group shouting yes in unison. My soul left my body at this point. Get strapped in and say a Prayer thinking this might be the last time I’m on the earth. Getting ready to launch my mind was blank and I was shaking in fear eyes closed shut as hard as possible, I didn’t know what was gonna happen. And let me tell you as the coaster took off my life flashed right before my eyes, then the pure speed of the coaster kicked in and hit me like some kinda drug, and my eyes opened as wide as possible. I was hooked, I remember screaming “This is awesome” over and over as loud as possible being flung about and even letting go of the bars on the restraints and throwing my hands up as much as high as I could. this coaster literally changed the way I view theme parks and honestly life in some ways. I rode every coaster in the park that day and after this anytime I would go to Disney I would ride every single roller coaster over and over until it was time to go, eventually I had to beg my dad to take me to every park in the state and ride all the roller coasters I could. It taught me not to fear the unknown and made me more brave. If you have a fear of these things you gotta think they’re designed for fun and more importantly your safety. And if you have the opportunity this ride can change your mind in a few seconds if you give it a chance.

Just as we left the tunnel, it started to rain. It was one of the most painful couple of minutes with the rain hitting your face at 200 mls per hour. We returned soaked to the skin, the staff seemed shocked, they didn’t realise it was raining and laughed. In the pictures everyone is covering their faces. 😳 It was one of the funniest, most memorable rides I’ve ever had. Went back when the rain stopped. 😄

i was dragged onto this ride by my dad today and i was scared shitless bc it was my first ever “real” roller coaster. i had prepped myself up the night before watching all the videos and reading the comments on what the worst parts were, but since it was my first time, i had sooo much adrenaline rushing through me. i’d heard that the blast off was the scariest part so i honestly just shut my eyes and grabbed on for dear life. the first loop in the ride was the most intense for me, i started seeing stars and had to remind myself to breathe, but after that it was just pure joy. i was just shocked abt how many times u went upside down. i would’ve definitely gone on it again to try and enjoy it even more, but of course we came during the absolute busiest times of the year (after christmas/ new years) and i didn’t want to wait in that line again. but 10/10 i loved it!!!

It felt like you were flying it was incredible I want people that are going and are afraid to ride this remember fear is something in your head and when you face it you just battled your fear and when you think of that fear constantly you get frustrated which makes you think about the negative things.
hero's journey right there
I’ve been twice and never had the guts to go on it (super scared of roller coasters) but I’m going again this week and I’m talking myself into going on it with my mom bc my brother who is normally her roller coaster buddy isn’t going with us 😬

This ride is amazing!!! I’m usually really scared of roller coaster and I HATE it when it drops. But this one was scary at all. I’m glad that I ride this one, it was amazing. You are the FIRST person I have EVER seen to cover the lens through fog on a ride POV!!!! Total Props and LOVE to you!!!
just rode on this today. as someone who has always been scared of roller coasters, and this being my first time riding on one, this was not only intense but also pretty fun in general. it’s a huge adrenaline rush during blast off and the first few seconds of the ride. be aware that throughout this ride you feel something known as the g forces, which mostly feels like pressure on your head/shoulders/chest/etc. the g forces almost made me pass out on this ride. i was in too much shock to react during the ride. it’s like being slung out of a slingshot during blast off. it wasn’t something i expected. also, i almost broke my neck during the abrupt slow-down. try to be careful when that happens. otherwise, if you’re someone who loves adrenaline rushes and g forces, i highly recommend this ride. if you’re someone who doesn’t like that or loop-de-loops and going upside down, don’t go on this ride. my rate: 4.5 out of 5
The hulk was my first roller coaster too and I was scared shitless of roller coasters.
This and the Mummy are straight addictive. When you go on it once you'll go on atleast a few times more

I didn't know about the launch. So I'm literally on the ride, going
"Woah, this is sick..."
And then it launches and you fly out... Ooooh it felt so good! I rode it twice, once in the front and once in the back. At the back it feels so much better, the little drop after the first break run feels amazing. Best coaster at Universal in my opinion!
One of the best all around coasters on the east coast for sure!

Ethan Plog I’m going on it in a few days. I’m planning to sit in the front row.

@@ronniereagan7998 omg the mind bender is amazing!
