it does Im working on a full experience POV now with the pop ups and stuff that talks about it more but the seats make the ride cool you feel like you are floating at times like the coaster turns and you feel like you wanna keep going straight and no chest bar to hold you lol!
just left universal today, funnest ride I’ve ever rode. went on it twice and would’ve gone again if we didn’t have to leave. before riding it my legs were literally shaking bc I hadn’t been on a rollercoaster in years, but I forced myself on it and I didn’t regret at all.
I really started to give up on Universal and Islands when they started going with the screen-based attractions, but it seems like Universal Creative finally got the message and is ready to update these parks and start a new Coaster War.
They made use of the limited existing space that they have and made something special. I'm not the target audience for this ride, nor will I probably ever ride it, but it looks awesome and the theming is well done! Universal has definitely upped their game in the past couple of years and I look forward to seeing Epic Universe and what Universal is going to accomplish.
This is UNREALISTICALLY GOOD! I finally tried it today, after waiting along months. When I saw it by my eyes, I went into serious fear. It is giant. Threatening. Furious. I thought I was going to faint when my time was coming in the lane kkk. But when me and my boyfriend road it, we loved it SO, SO MUCH that we road it 4 times in a row. It’s simply WONDERFUL. It’s so much fast, I can’t explain how much fast it is. The acceleration is insane. The second launch is unbelievably fast. But it’s SMOOTH, wonderfully fluid. There are no impacts, there is no pression on your head after drops ou corners, things that you expect from a intense roller coaster. No. This is not it’s vibe, you barely feel the rail. Maybe the meaning of the ride is to make you feel that you are flying or something, honestly! In a magical way. I didn’t feel scared when I was riding it. I felt only wellness and hapiness. So many times my butt went out of the seat, and usually I hate that, but here it is organic, funny, light. It seems like you are part of the roller coaster or something like that. Unexplicable! By far the best ride I have ever been on, including Hulk and these legendary roads from US. If you have the opportunity, just RIDE IT!
In the original plans thier was this big box by the break run that looked just like it would be something liek that. But they never built it. The spot is empty where it going to be.

I just went on this roller coaster the other day. I went in the third row. It was awesome. My new favorite roller coaster. Also I love how everyone claps for you a the beginning and the end. They truly did an awesome job on this.
Awesome coaster, rode it last week. It is very tense not for the faint hearted. I had a headache when I got off because it got my blood pressure up and I don’t even have blood pressure issues, Ha! I am 47 but am in good shape. My 16 year old daughter pulled a muscle in her neck cause she was so tense on the ride. But in her defense it’s hard to relax on a 70 mph coaster. Other than the speed and the obvious, what makes the ride so intense is the lap restraint only. At times on the ride you can feel yourself levitate out of the seat slightly and it will honestly scare the hell out of you. I’m sure that’s by design. I feel if it would have had shoulder restraints the ride wouldn’t have been nearly as stressful. I’m sure if I could have rode a second time, I would have been a lot more at ease as my trust factor would have been higher. I’m telling you going through a corkscrew at 70 mph with only a lap restraint is an intense experience the first time but that’s what makes the ride so thrilling. I say all that to say this the ride is awesome! Buttery smooth and fast as a rocket. I do recommend holding onto the handlebars the first time to ease the stress of the trust issues. You can tell yourself “I know it’s safe.” But when you feel yourself starting to levitate, human nature and fight or flight will try to take over on that initial ride on this coaster. Had a 75 minute wait but it was worth every minute even with the headache that eventually subsided after I had time to calm down a little. LOL!!
Getting this footage of the ride experience could've cost you your life, LOL. Thanks for posting this. I know I'll probably never get the chance to ride this but this is the closest I'll ever get.

Thank you for your comment. My 8 year old wants to go on it, but the fact there's no shoulder restraint makes me nervous. I want to be able to enjoy the ride and not worry the whole time that he's gonna fly out. What do you say?
i went on it yesterday and it was crazy. i spent 2 hours in line bc of drizzling / lighting but it was DEFINITELY worth the wait. easily the best coaster in universal.
I just rode this ride yesterday. It was the first coaster I rode in the park which is a big mistake for someone who has a love hate relationship with coasters...BUT it was also amazing because every roller coasters after this was easy for me to get on. This ride is so smooth and intense. Best coaster at the park!!
Got to ride 4 times during TM preview. It's such a good coaster. Front row and front half of the train reminded me a lot of sitting in the front of copperhead strike. The back, imo, was so much better. Way more intense, but wherever you end up you're going to love it. Even the locker system is the best I've ever seen, but still pack light when coming to the park to ride this so you won't have to waist time getting a big locker in the discovery center. The lockers are IN THE QUEUE and they are double sided. You put stuff in on one side just before heading up stairs to the preshow/paddock video room and station. Then you pick them up as soon as you exit on the other side. So simple and super efficient (why didn't I think of it lol) But like I said pack light because it's the skinny horizontal lockers that are at most of the other rides at USF/IOA.
Have never feared for my life on a roller coaster..after riding this, cant say that now. That launch over the high hat arch, oh my god. Literally only thing keeping you between the almighty is that chair brace--unbelievable thrills!
I just rode it today. I hadn't read the comments before riding and I was expecting it to be like Hulk, but I was surprised at how fast and intense it is. It was so scary that I wanted to get off, I swear I wanted to cry. Velocicoaster is definitely for people with guts.
this is simply amazing. the acceleration, the loops, the fall, the g forces, the theme, just everything is so fucking perfect. I rode this today and it might have been the best minutes of my life.
I just went on this yesterday, it’s fun but HOLY CRAP I think it’s the scariest ride I’ve ever been on. There’s no restraints except a small little lap bar so you feel EVERYTHING. On the Hulk it’s intense but you still feel secure. On Velocicoaster, the openness of the seats somehow makes the butterflies much more intense. My heart PLUMMETED when we went down the first drop (weirdly enough, the giant drop you can see from everywhere in the park isn’t that bad! It gave me the LEAST butterflies out of everything else in the ride).
I finally got to ride this and it is now my 4th favorite roller coaster out of 183. It is nearly perfect in terms of both thrills and theming. Blows Hagrid’s out of the water for me.

Just went on this ride today. No video will ever do it justice. What a smooth and insane coaster. Loved it!!
agree the vids don't give you the full experience! Awesome coaster!
This is absolutely the best rollercoaster I’ve ever been on
I agree and ty for watching
same!!
Now this, is a roller coaster!!!!!!! Rode last week. 85° weather is best. Airtime is amazing
The best ride ever! It was a honor to go on this ride. Super fast and just when you think you’re going fast, you’ll go much faster!!!!!!!!!
Omg!!!!!!!!
yeah exactly!
An absolute badass of a coaster. Not for the faint of heart. I can tell you that for sure!
Totally Awesome 🤙
Omg!!! I rode this ride yesterday. This is by far THE BEST ROLLERCOASTER EVERRR!!!!! It was crazy.
I felt that!!! It looks amazing! I was worried a bit about the seats but it looks likes it adds a lot more movement and thrill to the ride
it does Im working on a full experience POV now with the pop ups and stuff that talks about it more but the seats make the ride cool you feel like you are floating at times like the coaster turns and you feel like you wanna keep going straight and no chest bar to hold you lol!
@@ChasingDreamswithMikenow I definitely want to go on it! I was wondering about the queue, can't wait for the next video to see it!
@@ChasingDreamswithMike ok keep up the good work.
Me: I’m going to get a snack, be back!!!!
When I come back: oh, it’s already over.
It’s sooooo fast!!!
hahahaa yep! its that fast lol , ty for watching
just left universal today, funnest ride I’ve ever rode. went on it twice and would’ve gone again if we didn’t have to leave. before riding it my legs were literally shaking bc I hadn’t been on a rollercoaster in years, but I forced myself on it and I didn’t regret at all.
Rode it yesterday and was the most intense coaster I’ve been on. My wife and I looked at each other like 3 times like “omg is this real!”
The airtime on it is just insane after that 2nd launch, they knocked it out of the park with this one!
Yep I ride with my mom and my cousin it was fun and scary at same time
@@RainbowGalaxyMatt777 awesome!
@@ChasingDreamswithMike thanks I love the veloicoaster it my favorite ride and my mom and my cousin said it too
I really started to give up on Universal and Islands when they started going with the screen-based attractions, but it seems like Universal Creative finally got the message and is ready to update these parks and start a new Coaster War.
Yeah this one is a beast of a coaster I love it. ty for watching.
If they hadn't scrapped the dragons, I'd agree.
Awesome how Universal can open two coasters in two years!🎢
They made use of the limited existing space that they have and made something special. I'm not the target audience for this ride, nor will I probably ever ride it, but it looks awesome and the theming is well done! Universal has definitely upped their game in the past couple of years and I look forward to seeing Epic Universe and what Universal is going to accomplish.
They are multimillion dollar company...that’s how.
@@lanceflx63 multi billion dollar
@@CarguyEd5150 they are Disney’s biggest competition.

Amazing coaster. The only thing missing is a "jump scare Raptor animatronic" at the very end.
In the original plans thier was this big box by the break run that looked just like it would be something liek that. But they never built it. The spot is empty where it going to be.
that would have been a GREAT idea, maybe something like that they could add ? Could be on opening day they have something in store for us ?
@@ChasingDreamswithMike wait wait wait how this could possible hahahaha You guys are stunning I really liked all the 90° angles All of the virgins hills and twisted hot Curves These are my favorite stuff specially these elements are incredibly I can’t wait to ride it It’s
fabulous but my question is How the hell you guys approved it With their security system they are not allowing anyone to film during the ride Because they are Metal detectors on the ride ?!?

Chasing Dreams with Mike hey guys You’re still not responding my question 👊🏻😅
Lol wow it’s like Hagrids, The Hulk, Hollywood RRR, and the Mummy combined into one coaster.
omg

Reminds me of cheetah hunt
nice way to sum it up !
This makes absolutely no sense, but okay
I rode it 6x over the 4th of july weekend. The barrel rolls were my favorite!!!!
Got on the ride a total of 4 times in the last 2 days and each ride, regardless of where I was seated, was phenomenal! 1000% recommend it!!
I still have yet to ride in the back, I hope to do that next time.

That was the most sexiest POV view and coaster ever that Universal uhas put in their Park. Just beautiful all the way. I Soo wish too pieces too experience this Velocicoaster so much.
hopefully you can make it soon, you will love it!
Rode this today, was at Universal all week and finally got the nerve after riding the Hulk Coaster. This was sure bad ass no questions.
I just went on this roller coaster the other day. I went in the third row. It was awesome. My new favorite roller coaster. Also I love how everyone claps for you a the beginning and the end. They truly did an awesome job on this.
definitely awesome!
We rode that last week and I’m still trying to get my voice back. That ride was AMAZING!!

I WAS ABLE TO RIDE THAT YESTERDAY AND ITS AMAZING!!
which row did you ride on ? I've been wanting to try the back row also

@@ChasingDreamswithMike Nope, but I’m riding it in less than 3 weeks!
@@tismejaytee I just rode it and it’s awsome
Why not brother?
@@TheOnlyJohnAbraham live in California
@@kamsavart You need to find a way to go. The Universal in Florida is 10X better than the one in Cali. The one in Florida all the attractions are stand alone and much more goes into them. It's worth a cross country trip.

Rode this ride six days ago and it was awesome and intense!! My 7 year old daughter gave it a try and she loved it, but doesn't want to ride it again until she is at least 12. It is fun reliving the ride through this video. Great ride!!!
Thank you for your comment. My 8 year old wants to go on it, but the fact there's no shoulder restraint makes me nervous. I want to be able to enjoy the ride and not worry the whole time that he's gonna fly out. What do you say?

Going on Thursday to ride for the first time. Going solo so hope I don't freak out too much. Thank you for the video
I’m getting some Cheetah Hunt vibes off this coaster POV. Looks awesome.
Oh yeah so close but the way they do the accel and top hat etc is more exhilarating on Velocicoaster
I just rode this ride yesterday. It was the first coaster I rode in the park which is a big mistake for someone who has a love hate relationship with coasters...BUT it was also amazing because every roller coasters after this was easy for me to get on. This ride is so smooth and intense. Best coaster at the park!!
Best coaster I’ve ever been on. The 2nd launch and hanging upside down over the water bit was simply insane
Just amazing!! Best ride ever. I waited on line for almost two hours but worth the wait. 2 minutes ride just more than enough.
How did you get your camera past the metal detectors, also how did they let you record? They won't even let me take my GoPro on Fear Fall.
Glasses recorded the video
So simple and super efficient (why didn't I think of it lol) But like I said pack light because it's the skinny horizontal lockers that are at most of the other rides at USF/IOA.
awesome info ty!
I was just here 2 days ago!! The best coaster I ever been on in my life!! I shed a tear because it was that good!!!!!
Best coaster I’ve ever been on. Scared me shitless
You know it’s good when that happens hehehe!

Would love to hear what your top 3 are!
