      Glad you enjoyed it, Sam! I wasn't happy about the sound quality - too uneven.

    Very nice bowl Mike! The crotch figure down the center really gives it character. Thanks for sharing.

    Love the feather in the bowl. Glad you saved it. I never thought about keeping the flat the same thickness as the bowl width. Great advice. You picked a tough one but you hit a home run. Thanks!

      Glad it was helpful! I got this style from the late Bill Grumbine who demonstrated at a regional symposium years ago.

    That is a lovely feather and I'm glad you managed to keep it. Also thanks for the demonstration of various toolhandling techniques. (And chucks) It was indeed a rocky road, you had some bad luck but the (almost) end result really looks great. Glad your wife is feeling better! Thanks for another interesting video.

    Very nice looking feather and good looking bowl. These four way projects are really interesting and provide some really good insight into the different design approaches and techniques you each use. Kudos to you for powering through the project given the challenges you had. Glad that your wife is doing well.

    A beautiful piece. I had a bit of a panic attack in the mid 40mins section. I thought the vac chuck was not going to hold and you would be sending up a new Satellite. Thank goodness you got it sorted out. And as Sam says below. Now on to the other members of the team.

    Hi Mike, another good presentation, well done. You mention show notes, i can never find them, are they on your web site? Other presenters also have notes but I never find them. Not on the page that I watch the video. Would like to find your notes. Thanks for all your hard work on these presentations.

Show notes are any comments including links to other videos or Amazon affiliate links that are in the video description area beneath the video title on a PC, Android or Chromebook. Have you ever turned a winged bowl from the other side, so the rim of the bowl, in addition to the wings, will also be live/natural edge?

    • @MikePeaceWoodturning
      @MikePeaceWoodturning  10 місяців тому

      No. I have seen those and do not much care for the design as the bowl sticks up unnaturally, IMHO. But whatever floats your boat. It is all about the fun.
