When I saw the challenge was a 6x6 cube I tried to imagine what I would turn. I saw your lidded bowl and was a little let down. But when you took the lid off and showed the other bowls inside I realized that you had thought outside the box. You hit a home run. You crushed this challenge. The lid as a serving tray with the small bowl as a little dip bowl, very inventive. Thanks for again sharing your skills.

@tomislavtomasicwoodturning I'm fairly new to wood turning. I bought my first lathe last November and only have carbide tools but hope to get traditional tools some day.
I found your channel about a month or so ago and have watched many of your videos. I don't log into UA-cam very often but watch several turners such as yourself every day.
I just want you to know how much I enjoy and appreciate your new tutorial series videos.... Thank you! ~ CJ

Dear Tomislav, what a great demo: I have enjoyed every minute of this UA-cam: I was impressed by your concept so original for a cube, but also by the techniques that made the inserted bowls fit nicely. What a great idea to make this series, I would not have discovered you without it. It also pushed me into turning something out of a six inches cube. I had a freshly cut multi croch piece of cherry, where the trunk splits into 5 branches that is in process of being turned. Since my wood is quite wet it will be more classic, somehow an hollowed vase or vessel more similar to Richard’s or Sam’s turnings. Otherwise I will in a near future tackle the task of replicating your concept. Thanks again to the four of you for this stimulating series.

A beautiful piece. And as Mr Raffan says, demonstrates a variety of techniques very well. And though it may not be as perfect in your eyes as you feel it could be if you had done it from more than one piece of wood, I think it's fine indeed, and very much in the George Lailey tradition. Thanks for making and sharing this.
