Luhrmann reflects on the death of Lisa Marie Presley and shares how the cast of 'Elvis' is doing. He says he takes comfort in knowing Lisa Marie has ‘come home’ to her father, Elvis Presley, and the pair being together again is 'poetry in and of itself.'

Baz Luhrmann is such an amazing director who made a phenomenal movie about the real Elvis, his incredible talent, his principles, his family, & how Elvis touched our lives. Baz is so humble & gracious to put the emphasis back on the Presley family & how they're coping with this tragedy. He should have been nominated for an Oscar as both Austin & him are why this film was made with such realism, accuracy & insight as to who Elvis really was & how Elvis was a generous man who cared about human rights, freedom & those less fortunate than him. That is why this movie touches our hearts & souls with everyone in tears in the theaters. I hope the Elvis movie wins Best Picture, Best Actor, & other categories & that Baz's wife, Catherine Martin, wins an Oscar for best costumes as they all worked so hard & deserve to win. RIP Lisa-Marie & I know you're with your loving son & dad.
So well spoken, very sweet as an honor to Lisa. She would of loved these words. She is with her Daddy. It’s going to be sickening to watch if Pricilla comes after the money. I’m sure she has a stake in it but she has to live within her means. Luckily Lisa died with a 35 million dollar life insurance policy, the farm is saved! The Elvis fascination is fading. All his fans are dying. I love some of his songs and so does my 40 year old son and my 22 year old daughter. They should let Elvis and Lisa’s wishes stand.

Lisa Marie Presley was given the best present ever by the Elvis movie honoring her dad. Baz has this particular way of giving meaning to any context - he left aside his pain while thinking about the loss of the family... Art celebrates life!

Just found out the woman who played Big Momma Thornton Shonka Dukureh,, was found unresponsive in her apartment by one of her children in July of 2022 . She died at the age of 44,,,,, and a cause of death was determined as natural causes shortly after,,,,only age 44 with two younger children,,, how sad ,,,, may she RIP

The Grammys suck. Glad the American Music Awards gave best soundtrack to Elvis over Encanto even if the Grammys didn't. The Oscars are lame for not nominating Baz for director. Glad Austin won the Golden Globe head to head over Fraser who did nothing compared to what Austin did. If Austin doesn't win the Oscar it's criminal
