- In the early 1980s a young woman named Desiree sat her mother down and asked her to finally tell her about her real father. The story that Luc y de Barbin told her daughter was the story of how she met Elvis Presley, fell in love with him, and had an affair. Elvis, she explained, was Desiree's father.
In this 1987 interview, mother and daughter recount that incredible story.

I read this book recently and all I can say is what a wild imagination these two have. Elvis was well known for his concern about getting girls pregnant, right from the early days of his career when they were all throwing themselves at him and being young and virile, he naturally took advantage of the opportunities. There are some funny stories, told by Scotty, Bill and DJ, of their times on the road with Elvis, and one in particular was about the time they were sharing a room in a motel because they couldn't afford separate rooms. They had to wait downstairs while Elvis had his fun in their room, and he came downstairs looking worried. He said "The rubber broke! What do I do now?" He ended up taking the girl to the nearest hospital and getting them to give her a douche!
So he knew enough about sex to stop unplanned pregnancies.

The book was written in 1987 and this interview was from 1987, so Utter Rubbish Or Not They Are Not Just Bringing This Up Now.
Also, she could be his daughter and still not contest the will. Not everyone is in it for the money. People more often than not want to know who their real parents are/were. I'm fairly sure the estate won't provide DNA from the acknowledged heirs for her to have a definitive chance of proving or disproving it (although if distant relatives from different branches of the family were matches, that might be enough, and definitely could rule it out if not possible.)
Elvis’ Will says you must be legitimate child in order to get any money. She is not legitimate. Her mother was never married to Elvis so she is automatically disqualified. But I think it’s a crazy story not true.

If you can still find it, she wrote a book called "Are You Lonesome Tonight". It's a great read. They were on a talk show with Lisa Marie Presley. The talk show host, later claimed that the DNA didn't match. Don't know if that's true, but again the book was quite interesting.
@@vickimatthews5976 What talk show? I've never seen Lisa Marie Presley even entertain any of these people claiming to be Elvis' child.
@@cherylspencer8024 it's been so many years ago I honestly can't remember the name of it, wish I could. I just noticed the look on Lisa's face when Desiree said "0h now we're sisters" There was also another girl who was sitting there, but I had never seen her before, and again it's been so long ago I can't remember her name. Lisa acted like she couldn't have cared less about any of it. They talked mostly to Desiree about her and her mother's book and story. Then it was over. I watched it the following week and the guy that was hosting said a DNA had been done on Desiree and it didn't match. Don't know if he was lying or not. That was the last time I ever saw this program on TV. I was surprised to see Lisa Marie myself especially without Priscilla.
