Beautiful! Pro Tip from my mom: add conditioner to the length of your hair or any other part of the head that you don't want to get processed or over-processed.

It sure does and make me want to attempt this color one more time but on me I look dirty and washed out
You did a great job! For your next root touch up start with 2-3 inch away from the root. (lighter)
Then 5-10 min in to process go in on the roots.
The bodies temperature kicks up the heat with the lightner. (To avoid spotting) So you don’t have to go back to with the lighter. ☺️
🦄 just watched your “10 things I wish I knew before starting locs” and this video because I’ve been contemplating locking my hair lately and I am completely sold. I love just letting my hair be and be beautiful. Everyone that knows me knows I love easy styles that are pretty and healthy for my hair. When you explained everything your locs have done for you inside and out I started booking my appointment 💛 with all that being said lol Thank you for your inspiration 💛

Just watched this video so I can color my son's locks (tips). Nice job! And I love the shirt! I'm a Rattler too! Class of 2000.
First time I bleached my roots I was dealing with dark spots for sure. So, I started bleaching in sections (half of my head at a time). That way, I wouldn’t have to juggle the different processing times on my whole head. I think it’s faster that way too.
If you under-process the first time, you know how much more you’ll need for the other half (and can touch up that half while you’re doing the next section). I recommend doing the back half first because the front is the money shot 😂

🦄 please keep making dreadlock videos, this was amazing. I still haven't managed to keep moisture in, without excess oil. Tried castor oil and it was the worst decision ever. Major breakouts on my face. idk if the weather affected it too. Do you change your routine when its summer compared to winter?

🦄 thank you for these videos. Just came thru to also say be careful Fam. Turns out those color charm toners are permanent dye. Permanent dye is right up there with relaxers for being linked with uterine cancer and fibroids. That information wasn’t widely available when you made this video so just sharing in case you or unicorn Fam don’t know.
