for your bait tray you could put a boat pedestal seat that turns and mount your cutting board on top of that then just pull it out of the hole when you want to clean it

I took a truck inner tube and cut it to the size of the baseplate and put between baseplate and the gunnel to stop corrosion.

I was wondering how did you make the lid to your aft bench. I’ve been thinking about opening up my aft bench and putting a lid like yours so I could put in life jackets and maybe a dry bag or two to keep them out of the way while on the water. I don’t like the little hatches you can get for that purpose but your hatch is basically the whole top of the bench and I think it would be perfect

nice weld, if i don't get home soon and get out on water i may go crazy, your channel and couple others is all i watch when i'm out of town. one time i was gone 4 months i just got home went ahead and drove out to shop and hooked up boat and pulled around well that didn't go well with wife lol, probably the best one i did i was gone couple months told my wife i'm nearly to town it was around lunch time, heck i just stopped by house hooked up to boat cause lake was on the way to her work so i pulled into her work she came out and all she said is "this is ridiculous". lol i smoothed it over later came home and cooked some catfish lol. oh heck she put up with me 30 years so far, when she says stuff like that she just wanting to have a conversation with her husband i've mastered the art of looking like i'm listening.

looks grate man i see you got that GARMIN on there over all looking grate i do all my own stuff as well just a suggestion id ditch that rubber mat on the floor as a catfish boat its going to hold everything we run the flat horse stall mats there a solid mat that way if you decide to put a wash down pump on the boat makes it easier to clean i think my wash down kit was $65 or $80 off amazon a 70psi kit easy to install and clean everything right there on the boat also grate for them hot days/nights a little cool water over your hands/arms always cools you down as dirty as things can get fishing there good to have on the boat

Hi. Thanks for showing what ya did. I just got my first boat. And all I fo is catfish. I hoping bti get in the cats this year. I was going to go the route of purchasing a rod rack but with how high the price is and me being able to do what you have done. Changing a few things. I'm going to mount onto the bracket for the lund sports track so I can take it off and on for winter storage. I have found a piece of aluminum. To get it shipped to my door and the size I need it to be. It is less than a 100 bucks. The size Size: 3 x 1.498 .258....6160 standard channel You had made a comment that the thickness of your was over kill. Is this adequate in thickness to make a rack out of or doni need to go larger for this piece. Thanks Tommy
