    Looks awesome! I screwed a pool noodle to my wall and put some cuts in it with a razor blade about 5 inches apart. Works great and was cheap as hell!!! Thanks for the video. I always love your content.

    I have left over aluminum angle iron. I'm going to put them on the corners and sandwich two bricks between the boards using silicone to hold them in place.

    The prices you've shown on the shelf tags is down right scary. Those Hellcat rods perfectly match Sufix tangerine orange mono!

    I really like how sometimes you take an already good idea and take it to the next level. Great point that you could use blocks of wood instead of metal & you really don't need the PVC, that really reduces the price

    I have over 60 rods and reels. (it took years to buy) This is also a nice-looking rod rack. I use Clorox disinfectant wipes to keep my R&Rs looking top-notch, and I usually go through the ones mainly used every winter. Feeling like I have a light case of OCD :) I like keeping even my old Zebco's in top shape. I'm a disabled Vietnam Vet and need to find a good hobby I think I'll be able to do. You have given me so many ideas.
    I look forward to your videos and enjoy the happy/funny way you express yourself. I plan to build a couple of these in a 12 R&R config. I'll need to figure out a good way to add locking wheels to move the rack. Keep the videos coming. They are excellent.

    Thanks so much for you fantastic videos and ideas. Find it funny though that if you have 24 rods you may not need to worry about $96 for PVC! Just say’n! Seriously though your channel is brilliant!

    • @danimalscreationsandadvent8049
      @danimalscreationsandadvent8049 2 роки тому

      LoL right?
      Keith's videos are all geared towards people that like to make things on their own, and do it as cheaply as possible. He does a good job at trying to show the simplest and cheapest ways to get it done.
      As someone that enjoys making things, I often make things because I can't find what I really want, or can't afford what's already made. And then even if I can afford it, I don't wanna pay ridiculous prices, so knowing I can do it just as good or better, for a fraction of the cost, I'll do it myself! 😃
      I totally get what you're saying though. I wish I had between $7000 and $8000 just to spend on 24 rods and reels.
      24 Hellcats over $3k, 24 Abu reels $4k-4800 depending on which one you get. And that's all before even paying tax 😳😳😳

    • @FishinNStuff
      @FishinNStuff  2 роки тому

      Your right I could buy it but why waist money on PVC when I could save it for Rods lol . Honestly I've had alot of good reels for years and always used Ugly stick . I also had 4 whisker seekers . But I really wanted some Hellcats so I just saved money and got em . I have a buddy that has some nice gear , and he just bought one the other day and he told me he wants to sell his others now lol . I make a little off UA-cam and work full time so I'm not rich by any means

    • @FishinNStuff
      @FishinNStuff  2 роки тому

      I already had all the reels lol . Ive collected reels since I was young . I've never showed all my reels lol . I've just never had a nice set of rods . Plus they had a 30 dollar off sale at CatCon

    Idea I recently came up with while trying to decide what to do with some old lead cast net weights. Got a pack of 6" steel leaders, slid the ounce a piece weights over the swivel and put a split ring on to hold them in place. The clip end is great for putting on a Carolina rig at the swivel, and you can adjust them from 2-5 oz. I got 40 or so weights off the net and will be making a bunch!

      We can use as many as we want . I've collected alot of reels over the years and I was wanting a set with big hooks 9/0 and 10/0 . Then rig some for eater size catfish and hybrid . Some states only let you use 4 rods , in NC we generally use 10 to 12 rods in catfish tournaments . When I fished bass tournaments I would use 4 to 6 rods so I never had to change lures lol
