They all do it to each other. That's the point of the show. They call themselves each other's friends, but when one of them has a problem the other either don't care or they gloat. It's not just Elaine. Jerry and George do this too. Kramer on occasion as well, though he seems more clueless than outright vindictive.
Elaine just can't leave well enough alone.

Jerry was fine with what he wrote and put it out of his mind until Elaine started mocking it. Also a recurring theme on this show. They do something and don't think twice about it until one of their friends points out what the possible ramifications could be and then it's all they can think about. Particularly George who gets neurotic AF over the smallest things.
Jerry, frantically: "No, look, you don't understand, I want the picture!"
Waitress: "HHHRRRIIIGHT!!"

Because she's just a generally annoying character, so that kind of obnoxious behavior has to be part of it. It's just like in the soup nazi episode. She was warned about the way things had to be done on there, but she went in and did everything she knew she wasn't supposed to do. The guy was an asshole, but she started it. She then went and destroyed his business, all because she's a bitch. We could say she's not my favorite character

I ate at this diner. It used to be in Manhattan then they moved the whole building to liberty, New York where and old guy runs it. It was only in one episode of Seinfeld

That actress who plays waitress did a great job at playing the role but it gives me the CREEPS today because she looks quite a bit like the mother of my crazy ex (the mother is also crazy too). Especially at 1:02 I shudder.
