Here in Illinois at a dirt track they still run these cars but they have dirt tires and if I remember right they use Hoosier dirt tires that is what they should have in the kit
I have a dirt street stock and a asphalt outlaw latemodel real racecars and my dirt car has the tach on the a pillar roll bar angled so I can see it going off into the corner cuse you are looking out your drivers side window at most small dirt tracks when your sideways so you can see and can see the car next to you so tgat way I can see my rpms as well so thats wgere I would habe glued the tac I'm building this kit now i added a rear spoiler and some flat side skirts out of styrene sheets to make it look a little lower and I made a rear bumper cover out of flat styrene and used just the bottom part of chrome bumper it looks very realistic. I also cut hole in hood have aircleaner sticking out with a round flat gaurd going around it to protect it from debris. I kind of made it look more racecar then pure stock look like a super stock would have looked like back in the mid 70s early 80s

This is the first one of these kits I’ve seen with a windshield. The other kits look like dirt track cars with asphalt tires.
What color did you paint the body in?? Was looking for that shade
Easy Care Decor brand from a Tru Value hardware store. The color is 'daffodil'.
How did you gwt the hood pins abd wires for them well make them please post video on that
Those are just painted. The parts are molded in.
