I grew up involved in SCCA sports car racing. When Triumph introduced the GT6 to the US market, there was a local SoCal racer named Don Devendorf who raced one very successfully against the factory Porsche 911s and 914-6 of the works Porsche team led by retired F1 driver Richie Gunther and the BRE Datsun 240Z (all of those listed were models by Revell). When I learned of this kit, I wanted to get one. Never have seen one in person. Tried to order them a couple times. Backordered until my money was returned. Tried buying like 3x on evilbay. No joy there either. Yours is the 1st I've seen built. I see the proportions are not too good in spite of the nice box art builds. Start with the very thick A pillars on yours and compare to the box art. Also the front clip looks extra tall in relation to the maybe good length. Who knows, I might could still want one. But would definitely NOT pay a premium price to get one. Shame that the body shell isn't better.

It always sucks when you’re excited to build a model kit and then the model itself or the instructions suck. Or when you accidentally break a part.

Pity they didn't do a one piece body, would have gone a long way toward better fit and finish.
