Great video and thanks for sharing. I have version one of this plane and I'm still flying it after 5 years. The retracts are still holding up so far. It's a great flying aircraft and I love the sound of the propeller. Good luck with your plane, I love the yellow colour , it will be easy seen. Cheers.
I have to ask about the elephant in the room as no one else seems to do it - HOW do you transport it to and from the field if you do not have a Truck - do the wings come off and on with ease - ?? I would have thought the the V2 E-Flight might have addressed this for those who just don't have the car space for a fully set up 2m aircraft... Please tell us it can be taken down and transported without its wings...
Yes the wings split in two parts for transport... this plane is huge. You need to store your landing gear prior to transport and figure how to fit it in your car or truck...😁 Here's the maiden flight of mine... ua-cam.com/video/9tHYIEEiw5w/v-deo.html
But have they improved the main landing gear mount plastic pockets that are in each wing? I kept breaking them on the old white T-28 Carbon-Z. And you have to buy the whole wing if that happens.
I have retract issues with my 1.2m eflight t28 as well. For some reason, they can't ever get that perfect. I wish they had a, for a $100's more, get the upgraded landing gear model. That would set them apart.
Spektrum servos a nice touch? They're the same as if they were branded as Eflite. Do you know of any modelers that deliberately buy Spektrum servos for a kit or non-Horizon product? I think people only by them as replacement servos if they are too lazy/cheap to replace all the servos when 1 Spektrum servo fails.
It desperately needs shock absorbing oleo struts as in Freewing products. My eight year old Grand Tundra has multi pin connectors built into the wing root and fuselage. I have also been waiting for this one to reappear and frankly I am surprised at the lack of sophistication regarding connectors and gear. Have you seen the Hobby King King Air with its one click on or off wings including lighting? I will likely look elsewhere for my next purchase.
All those wires to deal with the wings? Wonder why they didn't make it like the Cessna 150T? I was thinking about getting this so now not so sure. Appreciate the video
@@JustPlaneCrazy That's exactly what I'm doing with mine... that spaghetti of cables is ridiculous 🤦🏾♂️ The plane is a beauty to fly though! Here's mine on her maiden flight day...ua-cam.com/video/9tHYIEEiw5w/v-deo.html Have a great day. Greetings from Douglas, Arizona 👍🏾🌵🦠😷🇵🇷
HI Brenden Just started putting my Carbon Z T-28 together with 8 channel Spektrum Receiver . what was your AS3X setting? Great video and love your channel!!!!
Thanks for another great video. I recently bought the 2.0 Trojan. Not built yet as I'm probably going to paint it. And thanks for bringing up the clevis concern, I'll be changing all of those out. Why wouldn't everyone.? Plus a 4 into 1 connector per wing. Anything else I'm missing? TIA
Hello my friend I love this bird, I think I have just about every T28 that is out. Its such a great plane to fly and just relax. Correct me if Im wrong but I dont normally see you do Eflite birds? But anyways I got something coming soon to show you on how I displayed your greatest creation the Al37 its not displayed as I was originally going. Thanks for sharing this your the best!!
It’s really still the same plane as before. Only it has Smart, LED’s and it’s Yellow. Get rid of all the Y-cables and make a 9 pin locking setup for the wires. Still waiting to see how the retracts hold up.
I don’t like the fact you have to use their chargers only to charge them and you can never pull mah telemetry data from them. For the price they seem to take advantage of people. I use Smc and have done testing on them which is on my channel. Although not perfect t where a better battery than other that I paid more for but everyone can make their own choice and that’s also ok with me. It’s a balance of cost and quality for everyone
@hectorcadavid9648 they have performed ok. All these manufactures also have different levels of results amongst sizes. So chnl has done well in some pack sizes but not others. Same with roaringtop smc whatever
IF HH would only use EPO foam for packaging it would not be considered trash. But corporate HH wants you to keep buying replacement parts instead. The reduction of logistics of having EPS and EPO would offset a lot of the costs of using only EPO but HH does planned obsolescence.
Yeah kind but not really. The first one was. Dry popular. So if it was still on the shelf it would still be selling. They pulled and put a newer or even call it different version in its place. The gear is a ton better
Thanks for your comments on improvements, have V2 in box waiting for parts to increase reliably and ease of assembly at field.

Nice job Brenden! I am working on mine too. I didn’t have the first one so I appreciate all the areas you pointed out to watch. Love your videos Dude!
Thanks for watching
The ball linkages from the super timber work perfectly . U have to buy two sets but for 17 bucks works great and all the slop is gone

I transport mine in an explorer. I do travel from. Field to field in my rv pulling a trailer.

Nice job
@@JustPlaneCrazy Thank you very much 😊
For what they charge you would think they would use a ball link setup for all the linkages
Agree
But have they improved the main landing gear mount plastic pockets that are in each wing? I kept breaking them on the old white T-28 Carbon-Z. And you have to buy the whole wing if that happens.
I guess time will tell. I didn’t have that issue with my white one
I have retract issues with my 1.2m eflight t28 as well.

Wonder why no aluminum gear. At that price it should come with them.

So dumb. I made two bulk wire connection. Easy.

KOOL plane bud!!
I hope they used better paint than the 150 red. The red smudged off.
Seems good
Glad to get my hands on one
Yellow doesn't look good should kept the original one put LED Lights on it

I just use what ever is in there. I don’t change them

You’re on top of it!
The funny thing is the cowl on that T-28 is the shape of a A model T-28 .

I did with the connector already
nice review Branden, but when i refer to the other trojan which one are u referring to?
The first 2.0 carbon z. The red and white one
Nice indeed 😎

Im repainting my friends ugly yellow to a nice blue color . I wish the wheels werent so hard . It needs softer wheels
Nice video. Steel clevises
I wish they would have. Why is that so difficult 😣
thank you-top channel-have a great day- friend.:))
Thanks for watching
Not really a good version 2 - messy wires , clevises weak ,
Not wrong🤪😜😝
@@JustPlaneCrazy agree wiriing is quite the mess , retract also need improvment , weak plastic clevises , working on the set up thus far
excellent
Thanks for watching
Team “deck-Al” 😂
Lol
Sorry, I need to stop my bad mouthing . I wish they would make a Corsair in that size
Oh that would be bad ass!!!!
Money grab .. nothing else. Put v2 on the box and it sells!
