Sounds so good on those close full throttle passes. I have the v1 and it’s my favourite plane out of the dozen or so that I have. I’m glad HH brought it back, I can be more daring with my flights and not worry about never having one again.
I have this plane also only mine is red and white. I'm a glow engine fanatic since 1986 but I have 3 electric planes and the big T28 Trojan is my favourite to fly. I have that plane 5 years now and never had any trouble with the retracts. I fly it with a Power 60 motor and a 6s 5000 lipo battery along with a 90amp speed controller. Thanks for sharing this great video of your T28. It looks terrific and it flew so smooth.
Nice video to demonstrate this new bird, At6 is one of best flying planes ever. I think a lot of people have been waiting for HH to put out another 2.0. Do you think the gear is pretty robust? We appreciate you testing her out for us Brendon!😎.
@@JustPlaneCrazy thats huge and i love the battery area is big. Like i said i have just about every color and size of the t28 and what is distinct is the engine sound i can close my eyes and say yup a t28. Nice bird but they should of done the better upgrades on it and i always change out the gear to metal especially the nose gear mine always bend. Thanks again
I am always surprised (I shouldn't be, but I am) when larger models of planes that had 3 bladed props don't come with 3 bladed props. I get it for smaller, less expensive models. This also often happens with some very well made modeler built planes who then put a two bladed prop on a plane that used three or four bladed props.
@@JustPlaneCrazy to keep the amps down go with a 14x9x3 prop. As this plane only has a 70amp ESC in it and you are close to max amp with just the stock prop.
Too bad no one stopped the A-26 from taking off! I can’t remember his name, but what I herd was first twin and first gas. However I could be wrong! Any how the left engine was saying No! I’m not sinked to my brother!! I was busy at the other end of the field and missed all the drama! NWR/ Krafty
Wow never seen this before but the book says After adjusting the trim do not touch the control sticks for 3 seconds. This allows the receiver to learn the correct settings to optimize AS3X performance. Failure to do so could affect flight performance.
@@Tallguysrc not just in safe. All the time no matter if safe is active or not. As3x you trim them let fly untouched for 3 seconds. Now do any of us do it and notice any effect not doing it? Nope! Never seems to make a huge difference.
Lol🤪😜😝😜🤪in the box yet….. all the wings are done or for now done. The upper wing vid is in process. Probably next week. I was ready to start on the fuse and got derailed by the chance to do a cool turbine project. Then my replacement Decathlon showed up. That may be a summer deal who knows. The Pitts unfortunately is going to take me awhile. I am crying to get back on it
Aileron with flap, or with rudder? Mixing aileron/rudder means switching in and out if you're doing lazy circuits or whatever and then including rolls. Separated best way to go as you say and if you're not used to manually mixing them try flying SAFE and using the rudder in addition to aileron and elevator to make the turn tighter.

Always, can't wait to get home and pull mine out of the box. I don't like the yellow so I'm going to paint mine Grey and black with Jolly Rogers graphics from Callie. Should be a fun little project. Great content as always.
Absolutely hate the color of it. Harder to see in the air than the original & just plane ugly. Why do companies make things worse rather than better? Uggg
Just discovered your channel and I like your comprehensive style-you’re great at explaining things, but whoever is manning the camera is hurting your brand. So shaky I really can’t stand watching. Camera work needs a lot of help. Other than that, great job!

Branden great maiden. Glad others will have a chance to enjoy the Big T28. Jeff in LA USA
Thanks man. Good to hear from u
Thank you for the video review on the T28!
Thanks for watching😝😜🤪
Love the field Brenden. Fly where you can. Nice landing 👌

So far so good on the gear
AT6?
Looks like a T28 sounds like a T28 yeah I think its a T28 flys nice bud great job. OMG LOOK AT THAT BATTERY ITS HUGE!!! Thanks for the share!!
It’s all about battery size
@@JustPlaneCrazy what size did you put in there and not sure if you did a build vid?

Nice flight man. Not a bad landing.

Your adding a lot of trim .bouse it on landing in grass then check retract
Man someone has some fun toys off in the distance!
Yeah man 😝😜🤪
What 3 Blade Prop did you use on your version 1 Brendon?
Gradiometers 15x8 it’s perfect. Even sounds like a gasser
@@JustPlaneCrazy Gradiometers? never herd of that brand propellers? i usually use master air screw type
Stupid autocorrect. Graupner
@@JustPlaneCrazy Ahhhhh Those ive seen before
Super cool indeed, we will put it thru the test indeed.

I hate it. I use graupner 3 blades typically but now they are out of business and I can’t find another one
@Just Plane Crazy master air screw is a good source for 3 blade props. Also can find them on Amazon.
Thanks. I think I will have to go there

Any as3x based receiver you have to trim them wait 3 seconds. Been that way all along with every model rx with as3x from Spektrum.
Yeah. I was surprised. I never knew that.
@@JustPlaneCrazy that only applies if you are trimming in SAFE if I remember correctly! let me look at the book.

I would rather use the stick to put in rudder on the turns. Mixing ailerons with flaps doesn't help piloting skills at all.

I still don't believe it deserves to be called a V2.. I have seen posts of some people still having issues with the retracts.
I have not yet. They seem to be much stronger in movement
yeh..big plus on longer nose strut..adequate propeller clearance, when rolling...Unlike most other T-28 makes(namely HK Durafly)😎👌🇺🇸
Nice!
