@@2AOverland If and when you do the doors, you’ll have good results if you apply Noico To the inside of the outer skin, as well as behind the inner panel. Also, any time you have access to hidden areas, that’s a great opportunity to apply FluidFilm to prevent corrosion
I used to lay this stuff down into every VW Bug I restored. (I used to use "Dynamat", It had a silver reflective side.) One thing I learned was to run a heat gun over the sheets before you press them into place. It makes them more pliant, so they conform to the shapes better. And it makes them stick better.

Hey brother I know this is an old video but I’ve been having extreme heat issues in the cabin and was wondering how much the insulation actually helped with keeping it cooler.
It helped slightly with the heat but really cut down on the noise. If you do this use the insulation too and it’s been a game changer for us with the heat. I’ll link you the vid of us installing the vinyl floor and insulation ua-cam.com/video/QGfoqxIfHx8/v-deo.htmlsi=37pDn10T6Ad0GqgR

I use rolled roofing the peel and stick for floors. Great for and offroad rig. I had 2 adapters and broke both. I was looking for something to cover bare metal roof before it becomes too hot this summer. Nothing like wanting to tilt your head while driving to get away from the heat off the roof. I like the trans tunnel producing heat. It keeps my coffee warm on the ebrake.
Not a bad idea with the rolled roofing! On the roof that would be great. I have a buddy that didn’t have anything on his roof and he had the same issue especially during summer 😬
Thanks for watching man! We appreciate it and You have a good point, I think in the near future I’ll do an update vid on the sound deadener, exhaust and dual battery 😊
Nice install! The roller is the size it is for a reason. Need to apply enough pressure for proper adhesion. A wider roller will not apply the same amount of pressure per square inch.
