It would be nice if my Dwarf II would show up, as well as having the clouds go away.

Brilliant Video. You use the term "Master Dark Files" Do you do some dark files and use them over and over for different images. How many dark files do you do please.

Thank you! Dwarf 2 has an astro dark mode that you can use to create a dark library. you can copy the dark library from sd card to the pc and use the dark frames with the same gain of your images. It should be enough to remove the hot pixels. I did took 20 or 25 dark frames using the astro mode, and covering the telescope outside , the same night i took the pictures of the comet, and similar temperature, to get the best results when stacking the images later in other stacking software. Doing this will remove more dark current noise than using only 3 dark frames that dwarf 2 currently makes in the dark library. For live stacking with dwarf seems to be enough to remove hot pixels though, can work also for stacking on pc but for the best results taking more dark frames helps.

Overall its a great tutorial but how do you run preprocessing if you dont have any calibration frames? If i dont select a calibration frame it doesnt let me run preprocessing so i wont be able to make a comet timalapse

Salut. It will make the video time lapse also without any calibration frames, is not required to have them to make a ser video from the fits images
