great bike. I have the dark red color as well, here in London UK. It was bought very cheap with accident damage. only 12k miles. Drives perfect. Such great engines! Still cant decide to fully restore it and get it like yours or just have as a winter hack. I have the full black widow exhaust, I'm sure it wont be as loud as yours though. Yours looks more like an R6 - Nice! 😄

Great video and thanks for posting all of the links for the parts, that was a nice touch. I have an all black '09 FZ6R with the same exhaust and some other upgrades. It sounds so much better than with the stock exhaust, I thought I was riding a scooter.

How much was the exhaust upgrade? I got a 2013 and it sounds like I'm riding a vacuum!
You should try out delkavic if you ever want to change the exhaust, it’s super deep and loud. I have a 14 fz6r with some similar mods, super comfortable and fun bike!

Lovely colour, I have the xj6f diversion 2014 in metallic gloss grey, our 2013 onwards diversion now looks pretty close to the FZ6R. I did price up used parts for the two piece seat as I like the look, but it ends up pretty expensive. So I opted for the Yamaha rear seat cowl instead, hopefully that comes tomorrow. Would like to hear your pipe during a ride. I think you should consider a chear pdr kit from eBay just to pull out that little ding in your tank. Otherwise a lovely bike with some tasty modifications 👍👌

Did you put the R&G Racing Bar Ends on yourself and if so is it difficult...how long does it take?
I did not put them on myself. I took my bike to the shop to install the bar ends and a bunch of other parts all at the same time.
Would a r6 rear swing arm fit the fz6r that swing arm does no justice for that bike

Yes you can see behind you, no they do not vibrate at high speeds. Sorry for the late reply.
