I ordered Bz4x this month. About that steering wheel position: I have long legs and kinda short hands. I test drive this car and I tell you, its first car in my 27y of driving, where finally I feel comfortable! Perfect wheel position, sitting on my lap. Im not petrol head who thinks that every car is racing car and keep steering wheel up high, just to get more control. I like comfort where my hands not tired there up high. Its relaxing family car where you chat with ur kids back there and enjoy comfort.
About attention sensor: I just watched test drive video, and guy on high speed on motorway got that tunnel vision into settings of infotainment system. Sensor beeps and he realises that lost track of where he's is. So it helped. It helps do not text on phone, to watch road. Why not? We always got those moments when we get involved in that "I just click couple buttons there fast" and end up eyes out of road 3-5 or more sec. I dont like speeding tickets (auto speed limiter watching it for me) I dont like pay insurance excess, beep-boop sensors everywhere keep money in my pocket and stress away. Instead I like safety and comfort... this is safe family car, I love it.

I think it is a nice bev with good stats. We have had the 3rd update recently and all issues solved. I preffere tge looks of this car anytime above the Tesla model Y.
This bz4x is as efficient as the Tesla, has a smaller battery pack, better warranty and the fixed the dc charging in winter as well. Our bz4x is very comfortable, better than model Y we had for a short period, far better build. And better warranty as well.
We achieve 450km in summer, cold weather 385km, more than enough.

These will make fantastic used 2nd hand cars. They’ll be as perfect as when they rolled out of the factory at 5 years old - and hopefully cost a lot less 2nd hand. I bought a 5 year old Toyota Prius Tspirit 10 years ago and it’s still running on its original traction battery, and HSD drivetrain - and it’s a daily commuter. Buy one of these used and it will probably outlive you! I’d trust this better than a Tesla Model Y. It’ll also be infinitely more reliable. The dash just screams futuristic 23rd century. Loving it!

I picked up my bz4x in late January 2024. Had for about 7 weeks now. I can’t understand all of the negative press it’s had in these reviews. Maybe my expectations are lower, but I can’t fault it. My bz4x has replaced a new shape Yaris hybrid which I used to spend about 60.00 pounds sterling per month on petrol and got about 62 miles per gallon. So far I’ve travelled a total of 785 miles in the bz4x, and I’ve only spent 26.00 pounds sterling on charging it! Enough said!

I like it better than my 23 Tesla Model 3, it is a much better car in every way. With Tesla I feel they took a lot of short cuts to put that car together to maximize profit. With the bz4x, I feel they spent more money building the car than what I paid for it.

Very good presentation. Since october, I have a bZ4X and all is ok by the moment. Is a Toyota in short words, but the the rear and front cameras (very bad camera resolutions) are a disaster, their use for parking don't help to facilitate the maneuvers. Toyota don`t dedicate the appropiate care to develop the cockpit onboard software.

People are getting their first EV with perhaps 100 more bhp than their last car, certainly a lot more torque than their last car, they’re exploiting that extra power with their right foot a lot more and then wondering where their threads are going. It sounds like a strain of Covid. Why not just make the beautiful new Prius an EV?

Crap name, they said they don't lime evs, well overpriced. Steering wheel has come from the 90s. No flat floor so not true ev. Looks crap. Let them bankrupt themselves with hydrogen so called cars, that's what big oil wants. An ice company that didn't even try.

Over styled like many Toyota vehicles. This one is particularly hideous. Those front wheel arches...

No. The Citroën Berlingo EV is better, that comes with the toyota badge.
Toyota phoned in this BZ up and has been a poor choice, it's inefficient and deliberate built in limited quantities. It's a symbol of Toyota's demise by spending iver a decade dismissing batteries in favour of hydrogen

Toyota and demise certainly can’t be used together. Distracted over hydrogen, perhaps.

Mark..... i am not even going to start! You know my views already on these hideous, overweight 2 tonne battery carrier. Absolutely no excuse and no need. No one needs this. Please tell me the rumours that Toyota are giving up on electric vehicles and pursuing alternatives. eg. Hydrogen.... And yeah, go to say it this is almost as god awful as a Tesla, Kia, Hyundai, MG and so on.
If it has to be an EV, just look at Peugeot, BMW and Mini.

Awful looking! Plastic all over the shop!
Was behind one the other day and witnessed toyotas attempt at dynamic indicators 🫣 look like something youd get off ali express.
I know they are budget but my god it looks so cheap

@NobbyOnCars Toyota is a budget car. Relatively cheap popular cars. That's not saying anything bad about them. Well made, but they aren't considered luxury, that's for sure. My owl boy wouldn't buy anything other than a corolla. My god, they are basic as dick!
