This car keeps blowing my mind. Not just performance, how do you make a 2000 hp EV monster so intuitive to drive? Incredible..
Yes! That’s the astonishing part about it😅

First of all- dont give it to established producers to make it.

@@psirvent8 that is the operational speed of TGV.... One maglev train in China runs at 436 kmph every day... Top speed of TGV is 576 kmph....
@@bismayparida2115 Yes I was aware of all that and fyi the TGV only went to 574,8 kmph (not 576) once in its career and it was back in... 2007 for a speed record. @@JohnSmith-pn2vl Exactly, cars with electric powertrains do not yet hold many records such as fastest laptimes, highest top speed etc. but as you said it is only the beginning! As batteries get better I can only imagine... I prefer a sub 1000kg naturally aspirated ICE car with throttle cable and manual transmission for the emotional aspect, but rationally electric cars will totally take over ICEs.. Just a few more issues to solve.. I really hope for sustainable battery materials, higher battery capacity along with lower weight and good charging networks.. Then we have the solution.. Agree! RIMAC will have s bright future
Because people only care about Tesla for no reason, thats why.
That's why nearly all prominent car manufacturers let Rimac develop some of the components for their electric cars, but most hide that fact.
@Neil 357: Because electric cars are not propper sport cars, and because at the same power output as them, the piston engined car is faster. And they are also not fast on them tracks and battery drains ultra fast when the cars are being pushed at max. level. So, Rimac Nevera, Tesla Plaid are fast cars, but at the same time they are idiotic cars.

About 120km of range at that kind of driving... That gives you an idea of how much power it's using to go that fast that quick... Amazing.
If you pull 1200-1300 kW of power you can calculate how long a 120kWh battery will last😅….but still, in range mode this can do 500-600 km in the real world which is insane even compared to cars like an EQS or i7🤯
if u keep on doing constant runs in any super/hyper car, they will drink fuel as well so its not a shock to see energy consumption, however if someone wants range, it can do more than 500 kms on a charge which seems good enough

What did you expect if motors consume 1MW+
I think it was for the longtail Chiron that they said it sucks so much petrol that at the max speed you’d run out of it in roughly 15-20 minutes, but that’s no issue since the tires will come to the point of not being driveable before that. Those speeds are something else and limits are in areas you don’t even think about as a driver of a ‘regular’ fast car.
