- I decided to stay within Harley warranty guidelines and keep the 117 Milwaukee 8 stock the way I got it . The only upgrade needed at this stage is to change the sewing machine sound coming out of my exhaust system, to something more appealing to my ears..👍🏻 😆 LOL 👍🏻 .
I reached out to TAB performance and they were very kind and sent out Slip-ons to Install on Gray Ghost my 2022 Low Rider ST, FXLRST.

Yup. Slipons got 2 years. It’s got enough power already, better off spending the money on cosmetic upgrades and other things that just making a bike run better
Installing mine on my new 2023 Breakout today. Can’t wait. I too went with the medium baffles.
I finally got mine on today for my Lowrider ST.
There’s no rattling there’s no raspiness just a big gargle loud engine sound for me.

I just installed my tabs 2.25 baffles on my 2023 street bob 114 sounds so good and the idle is not crazy which I wanted cuz I leave for work around 2-3 in the morning but it's loud when u give it throttle
and I took your advice bought some ball Allen key sets at harbor freight thanks for your video
Love the way you played the stock and the slip ons back to back so you can really listen for the differences. Also really enjoyed your video on the mini tour pack. Good work brother.
Just did the install on my El Diablo. It was easy - the toughest part for me was the torque spec - my torque wrench broke so i used the Sandy torque method 😀. The tab mufflers are great and I'm glad I went with the Louvered Core Baffles and not the Zombie because they are plently loud for me. I think the Zombie would havce been too loud and I'm already staring to lose my hearing and I don't need the extra volume. your install videos are great and after watching you "pave the way" it made my install much easier! thanks again!

I put these 3.5 inch Tab Performance slipons on my 2020 Fatboy with the Zombie baffles. Took about 20 min. And they sound awesome. I completely disagree that they are too loud or obnoxious. They are loud especially when you get into it but not overwhelming they don't even drown out my speakers on my handlebars. Not to worry you can upgrade to the Zombie baffles for $120 since they just pull out and slip right in!!! Love these slipons. Worth every penny I paid Tab for mine!!!

I have a ‘21 Sport Glide. Stage II with Reinhart slip on, SE tuner, SE Ventilator, torque cam.
While I really am happy with the Reinharts, how could you not love these Tabs? However, you don’t need to utilize the SE tuner when changing exhaust on a Stage II? I had thought this was necessary. I too stuck with my warranty. Hey, when you’re in the 20k category, you’d be foolish not to.
So could I just swap my Reinhart slip on for this with medium baffle and not have to utilize the tuner?
Also, while I’m quite happy with my SG, I can see that the ST is the SG done the way they should have. Not that the SG has anything wrong with it. Safe travels my friend!

The ball end Allen keys are a paint saver, look them up
Oh, and keeping your warranty is smart, as I voided mine and had to eat a 10k mile 131 that started eating itself......but Dave @ JD'S Cycle got me right!

Dang those sound amazing! I’ve been researching exhaust for my LRST and I have found much I like, but these are impressive. Any idea how much louder the Zombie baffles are?
I don’t know how much louder - but I know they are very loud . I was worried they would be too loud during cruise….
You may lose some low end torque with the zombie baffles

Crazy loud. I went with the zombie baffles and I should have used something a little quieter.

Happy New Year and great video Sandy! I ordered the exact same ones and am struggling at installing them. The top part, with the weird location ended up getting stripped. Any recommendations on resolving. I tried many 3/16 Allen’s and none worked

Can you explain a little bit more about the cam? I looked at the SE cams part numbers and it's not the same as the stock lowrider s/st part number.
Nice choice! I went with the same slip on and zombie baffles for my 22 Fat Boy. They tuck in nicely behind the stock heat shield and provide the sound I was after.
Is the sound too loud during cruise ?
@@HOLYSHIFT Not for my tastes anyway. I can see where the bike and gear choices would have an impact on how loud it sounds (fairing, windshield, bags, full face or half helmet, etc.).

Good video........Why would they sell a Harley that sounds like a Honda? So that's another $500 bucks that should come already on the bike. I check in to a LRST with the tobacco fade paint nothing else and they quoted me $30k out the door. Looks like I got to spend another $3-5k to get the bike to what it should of been at $30k new, plus all the time and labor involved installing all the add on. You also say if you get the bike to what it should be from the factory they void the warranty. Perfect.
cobra mufflers make great sounding mufflers too with steal baffels.next time get a set of ball alin head extensions to use with your 3/8 ratchet .
Did your dealer say anything warrant issues since the catalytic converters removed? Apparently in these bikes the are in the mufflers not the header pipes.

That’s the long term plan buddy a full stainless steel 2-1 . But after bike is at end of warranty… Covid models of Harley have been breaking down - more than usual. I want to stay with warranty

I want the sound of the TAB exhaust (it actually sounds like a Harley) but not much louder than stock. What exhaust do I get?
Sandy how are the slip ons during a long day riding do they effect your ears or cause a thump in your head ?
I’m interested in buying them however just want to make sure that when upto cruising speed they don’t cause a head ache ? Obviously I love laud pipes but not head aches 😂
Listen - no head aches after a long day - remember you can always changes the baffles to even quitters…

Slip and go ! The stock Tuner has a 10% tolerance ( approximately). Usually if bike is not popping and engine sounds healthy you’re good ! Obviously a custom tune is always optional for best results

Now that you have had the 2.25 louvered baffles for a while, any regrets not choosing the Zombies?
Zombies would be louder - I’m fine with the current sound level. My buddy will be installing my slip ons when I get my 2-1 pipe. He’s gonna change baffles to Zombie. So we’ll be able to compare once he’s done.
@@HOLYSHIFT If you don't mind me asking, why did you go w/ the 2into1 setup? I'm split b/w doing slip ons or 2into1. I heard that the slip ons retain the warranty and the 2into1 does not. What are your thoughts?

I was going to go with neighbor haters or zombie baffles but I checked into the zombie baffles and just too raspy and loud for me. My son actually decided he liked your setup best so it is on the way! Question, did everything come with it to mount it and go? Thanks again!

Hello when you changed the slip ons a engine light on display appear?? Orange engine light ? Because in Europe dealer told me that happen this maybe USA model don’t

You need a tune. Those slip-ons have no cat in them.
I will check with Harley- if needed then tune it is !
From my understanding I see two things that may not be correct. 1) the TAB Performance slip ons do not have a cat and 2) you need a tune to go with a no cat exhaust. Can you comment?
Also, I believe you void your warranty without having a cat
Harley just got sent out letters stating that you can work on your bike and put aftermarket parts on it and they cannot void your warranty and I've never heard of the low rider coming with a cam in it unless the dealer you got it from did it but then they absolutely would have changed the exhaust and intake so I'd say it's bullshit

I ran the neighbor hater zombie baffles for 1 year before I went with the mids. The zombies are great for lane splitting but I really like the sound of the mids better.

@@DavidSmith-fw6uj For me it was okay, but to the riders behind me it was annoying lol. I wanted loud but not the zombie sound. I wanted a deeper grumble and my friend ran a Reinhardt which was nice but not for the money. When I switch the baffles to the Mids it was perfect. Can’t beat it for $300.
Great comparison..careful though..your old age is showing!! Haha want to be heard but chose the mid level..shoulda went w the loudest..it’s a slip on my man! Jk sounds nice.
Not a fan of Harley’s lame heat shields, slipon’s sound much better!
