Here's advice: listen to this, but not in your sleep. If you hear this many times while doing things like chores, drawing, exercise or just basic scrolling online it might help you memorize the words.

@@TheHawkeye12it might but not guaranteed, depends how light/deep your sleep is and some more factors.
But as the comment says yes if you listen to it throughout the day you will learn it, it’s estimated that native English speakers can take as little as 600 hours of listening to learn languages such similar to English such as Spanish, German, French, etc.
I’d recommend to focus on listening and speaking, you can try and label everything in your house with the word in the language you want to learn, and when you thunk of something think in that language, or say it, reading is more efficient but only when you have a quite large vocabulary, otherwise you won’t understand anything and will meed a dictionary.
It’s called the natural way, you bombard your brain with the language and focus on comprehensible input, for me it works amazing!

Studies show that this only works to help cement a word you already know. You won't learn anything new but it will help you recall words you already know. So I'd listen to this awake a few times before using it while you sleep

This method is useful as a supporting tool amongst other programs. I think it helps the people who are really serious in learning a language and if course dont depend entirely on this. What it actually does is... It stores the phrase or words in you such a way that when you talk they come to your mind really fast.

I find that these 'learn while you sleep' language tools are really effective at helping you to become familiar with pronunciation and German letter sounds but you still need to use another method to learn the actual language and then use this as an additional tool to cement what you have already learned. Just the long exposure to hearing German spoken, that is a good tool in itself. So I put this audio on when I'm drawing or working. I'm not actively listening to it but it's on in the background and I find that the German phrases I had already learned but struggled to pronounce become much easier for me to say.
I finally fell asleep and a damn commercial woke me up.
Since everyone keeps asking, instead of googling and checking for recent studies, it has been discovered that although it is unlikely you can learn something brand new through this technique, it does help reinforce anything you HAVE already learned. For instance, i learn danke means thank you. But, i have a hard time remembering this. Having "danke, thank you". Play while you sleep will help reinforce the information.
Try listening and repeating these things while awake. Study an hour a day. Then use these videos. It does help, it just isn't something that will make it ten times faster, ya know?

If you watch anime for quite a while you get familiar with the words and sentences, this video works same as that use Duolingo to learn words on daily basis, in your free time listen to this videos , instead of playing games and scrolling through social media make german friends or join groups / community where people are learning german hope this comment helps!
My German is very rusty. I'd pause after an English sentence, and I'd try to guess the phrase. I either get some words switch up or around or I didn't get it at all. Lol

Chloe Terrace I too had the same question. But in my case it didn't helped at all. They are going way too fast and that's why my mind can't grasp the phrases told after 5mins. So just try to learn German by a book or a tutor. And all about pronounciation, you may take help of a native german or Google translate. Hope it will work out for you too. I am currently A2(just reached).

I think this is a sort of brain-wash program which is good for soaking language unconsciously. Even though I don't remember while sleeping. I remember sentences just before sleeping and waking time. Thank for posting this program.
that has always been my theory. When I heard a song on the radio in the morning before I went to school, then I had that song in my head the entire day. That is how they make songs popular on the radio. They play them when people are tired and getting ready for work in the morning. Then they have it in their head the whole day. Eventually they go out and buy the CD.

Every night I listen to this and other similar programmes whilst sleeping, especially those containing binary beats because I suffer from insomnia occasionally, plus I have tinnitus and need some positive sound to override it. Has it been working, you ask? My gauge is attempting to share with others. How do I know it is truly assimilated? I had major surgery one morning recently. When I came to, I was speaking German. The nurses asked me what was my native tongue, followed by querying as to where did I grow up. One thought I was speaking French, but even as I was becoming more lucid, I realised my brain was still formulating responses in German! Ich bin sehr glucklisch!
