Ah yes, the worst top comment.
You're forgetting a critical element in learning German nouns: Their Articles like Der, Die order Das. Also, give us a longer pause between words so we can try to recall them before being told the answer. Recalling learned words solidifies them in our brains but we hear the answer usually before we've recalled them ourselves.
We're missing some good learning opportunities.

@@courtmiller4116 That would depend upon how the viewer wants to use the video. We all learn differently but knowing each individual noun article (Der/Die/Das) is vital to even speaking Deutsch.

The most important thing in learning words in German is to learn with articles. It plays vital role in talking correct German because of the 4 cases in German. Please update this video with the articles. I dont want to learn from this video for this only reason. Or else it is a good video.
Yes - I felt that was essential and missing otherwise you basically have to relearn all the words.

You need to add the der die or das, because just learning words without them isn't enough. You're only getting half the info needed

I discovered the German words Durchschnitt as well as Welt occur twice each as the translation for two different English words each. Oops. Something went wrong.
Also Olivbaum is given as the German word for olive. Oops. That's close but wrong

After listening to this many nights while sleeping i can say it has prepared my mind to remember more words while studying and i have awakened with some new words on my mind most mornings.
As you say, though i also study German many hours ever waking day. I do both.
You know it’s extremely beneficial to have this playing in your sleep?
Obviously you can’t learn it fully in your sleep. You need to be taking a course or always speaking and hearing it/ living in Germany.
This is basically refreshing/announcing words for your mind as you sleep.

This would be more useful if you included the gender. As a learn German tool, you should know that. I stopped listening after the first minute to write this. You can’t figure out a gendered language without knowing the genders of its words. Too bad, even as a not sleep learning tool I thought it would be useful just to build vocabulary . I’ll be back if you fix that.

Learning German nouns without focusing on their gender, plural forms, and articles is inefficient.
Not very useful with no gender context provided with nouns. Articles need to precede nouns in Deutsch.

I hear ya'll on the gender thing but if your main source of vocabulary learning is a video called "learn 2000 words WHILE SLEEPING" you have much bigger problems than der die das.
