  • Ep. 378
What you are about to watch is an abridged version of the full interview between Dr. Jordan B. Peterson and women’s rights activist Kellie-Jay Keen. Due to content policies that could threaten our ability to use this platform, a 32-minute cut is necessary. Regardless, the conversation contained within is important now more than ever. If you would like to support freedom of speech and the free exploration of ideas, then please consider watching the full 2-hour interview on the DailyWire+: bit.ly/3KrWbS8
Dr. Jordan B. Peterson and Kellie-Jay Keen, AKA Posie Parker, discuss her rude awakening as a women’s rights activist, the irony of arguing for women’s rights against transgender “women,” the censorship now abundant across leading streaming platforms, and why those speaking out continue to do so against all odds.
Kellie-Jay Keen is a women’s rights activist and founder of the group “Standing For Women.” Her group events, #LetWomenSpeak, became so popular in the UK that Keen launched a world tour which has greatly influenced international discourse on the transgender movement and the importance of preserving women’s spaces and affordances.
Dr. Peterson's extensive catalog is available now on DailyWire+: bit.ly/3KrWbS8

    I have a confession.
I was on the bus home from work one day enjoying a nice quiet journey, which was eventually interrupted by a fairly "antisocial" pair of loud obnoxious men.
Eventually, their conversation evolved into how much they dislike transgender people, which was admittedly not the most sophisticated argument, but an argument I agreed with nonetheless that can be boiled down to "you cannot pretend to be the opposite gender and expect the world to pretend with you".
My sin was that upon hearing them say this "controversial" statement, I found myself internally feigning disgust with their point of view, I even looked about to see if any likeminded individuals were equally disgusted with what I heard, then it hit me, why was THIS something I felt I would get consensus on, I didn't look around because of the constant cursing or shouting on the bus, or the blaring of music through their speakers, but because of their "unsanitary opinion". This lead me down a train of thought, and I realised that in spite of my strong convictions, I was part of the hivemind that wants to suppress "incorrect" opinions. Somehow, my brain has been programmed to set alarm bells off in response to someone saying something politically incorrect, even if I agree with what they're saying. This is the far-left's greatest strength. They have us afraid to agree with whom they've deemed a "conspiracy theorist" or "fascist", they've made us afraid to have the thoughts we all naturally have, afraid of our own nature. For good reason too, because saying the wrong thing can lose you your livelihood, ruin your life altogether. Loss of livelihood as punishment for political dissent is as fascist as it gets.
I try to be brave enough to say what I think, but to do so in a sensitive and careful manner. There is always the danger of losing your reputation and your livelihood, but we must all say what we think. I know my thoughts and opinions are normal, I know they're healthy, but the less I hear it from others the more afraid I am, and being part of the solution may not solve the problem, but it's the least we can all do. Let's "normalise" being normal.

I mean the entire situation was disgusting. Why do they feel the need to virtue signal to each other in public on something they already agree on just try to and get reactions out of people. They are clearly elated with themselves for discovering a very simple but true algorithm that they feel the need to use it to boost themselves up and put others down. Its also likely everything they said wasn't even their own thoughts but someone else's. No different than just UA-cam shorts but trying to make an image for themselves with it. Its a real joke. I may agree with them but their behavior is disgusting and they are likely insecure people in general to be behaving like that.

I can relate to this when I first came to live in Vietnam a few years back. I found myself internally reacting to the what would be politically incorrect in the UK and after reflection, I thought why? They literally don't care about all this nonsense that we talk about, they're too busy trying to make money to improve the lives of their children. Unfortunately, as social media has started to gain popularity over here, you start to see the youth saying things like "We need to save the planet," whilst also being very self-absorbed.

Kellie's unanswered questions about the Left mirror my own. I'm a New Zealander who unfortunately have a family who are chanting that Posie Parker is a Nazi supporter. Because I stood up for Kellie and her stance on what is a woman and the importance of protecting women's spaces, my family and many of my friends have ostracized me. I'd rather be standing beside Kellie on the side of the truth.

@Danboy0001 He tika e taku tuakana. This is true and sadly not only sex and sexuality is used to further the rot but also culture and environmentalism.
The only way the rot persists is through discord and division - don't forget the protests in Wellington, it was the first time I had seen traditional NZeuro farmer types standing side by side with tino rangatiratanga Maori in unity and solidarity, and that scared the shit out of the politicians. Their only choice was dismissal and slander, division and confusion.
Just like when Kelly-Jay came, someone I would say has strong mana wahine that NZ could learn from, she was met with nothing but violence, slander, and rot. It has shown that NZ has lost its true sense of social equality that we used to boast about (long gone are the days of Kate Sheppard).
Kia manawa ora, stay hopeful, reasses after this election - we can leave the universities and media to collapse under their own rot but the policy makers need to change.

I've listened to this excellent conversation on Spotify. Last year I was on the left. I was one of those mean Lefties that won't engage in reasonable conversation because, I suspect, deep in my heart I was doubting what I thought I believed. A very dear and valued friend kept begging me to listen to KJK's interview on Triggernometry and it changed my life. I've never looked back. So thank you to KJK for never backing down. She is making a difference and so are you Dr. Peterson. According to my kids I must now be republican (i'm not, nor am I democrat). Unfortunately they grew up with my Leftist idiot self all their lives. I can only hope they'll wake up some day. I can only hope eloquent, intelligent, and courageous women like KJK, JK Rowling, Genevieve Gluck, Helen Pluckrose, A Shrier, Helen Joyce, Keri Smith et all, keep on talking and talking loudly. Each day I hear about more and more women stepping back and saying, OMG, they are right! Thank you for waking me up. I'm forever grateful.

Many people are now realizing that the traditional left and right designations no longer serve us. Rationality and a refusal to succumb to an irrational pseudo religion is what this is about. As a Gay Man, I too am horrified by the thought of a man getting so close to women/girls' sensitive private areas under such a pretext. The 'adventurous spirit' of Homosexuality is supposed to be directed towards those of the same sex and as KJK said 'opportunistic.' Think Camille Paglia's commentary on sexuality and homosexuality. The idea that we could work in a place, touching and measuring female biology, claiming that we're not interested is utter bullshit. If a homosexual isn't interested in female anatomy, then they wouldn't be working there in the first place. A TG person attracted to the same biological sex, that they transitioned out of, would have the same visceral reaction of 'not wanting to go there'. We would work at the makeup counter instead. A TG person working in the 'bra fitting' department is a fetishist for the anatomy they will never have, and it is rightfully disturbing to have them invade the intimate space.

I’m a 26 years old Iraqi clinical pharmacist. My name is Serraa Khaphají. And this is a message to Dr. Peterson.
I’ve been a student to your teachings since 2017, and I cannot help but agree with the majority of what you teach, share, voice and believe. The reason that got me to comment today is this: I’ve overheard my parents watching an Iraqi interview between a tv show host and an activist, discussing the concept of the ‘social gender’, and the conspicuous opinion -now- that gender includes the social, psychological, cultural and behavioral aspects of both biological genders and ‘supposedly’ other gender-identity. This ideology is being openly discussed here in Iraq, on the political front, but not yet socially. Us Iraqis have the not-so-intellectual attitude to care about ‘trend’ a little bit more than necessary, and to be entirely honest, I am terrified.
Iraq has been the closest thing to the host of multi-angled totalitarian despotism ever since 1978, or maybe before that. Politically, religiously, and socially, Iraq has been abused far than what’s imaginable, and it is not getting any better, not with this. Why? is the Left absolutely scared of their ‘theory’ falling out of proportion to the point they have to push it to another country to support it? Why this? People here have been confused as it is about raising their children since the 80’s, and I know it never looked like it was getting any better (at-least across my personal lifespan), but this? This where our politics still doesn’t accept homosexuality?
I always agree with your notion about specifying a place to stay the hell away from, I never thought though, that this place would be my country, not to this extent.
I hope this gets discussed by intellects like you, who search and seek the truth, and I hope you see this, because truly, never have I felt before to this degree, that things are spilling uncontrollably out of hands.
I also still have no idea why did this ideology take place in the U.S back in 2018, and to what political purpose..
We’ve been discussing this, me and colleagues about the possibility of this to spread in Iraq, truth be told, the likelihood of the spread is weaker than one might think for 4 reasons (so far) and I hope to God I’m right about this.
    Thank you…

I imagine that Iraq is more traditional than many countries in Europe or North America, which is mostly a good thing. Unfortunately, Shia scholars (in Iran, at least) have determined that Islam does not forbid transgenderism but does forbid homosexuality. As a result, it is not terribly uncommon for gay people in Iran to transition to the opposite gender (sometimes under threat of severe punishment or execution for homosexuality). Given the number of Shia in Iraq, I wouldn't be terribly surprised if a trans rights movement gained traction in Iraq at some point--I just don't think it's likely to happen anytime soon. Hopefully, it won't happen at all if the trans movement in the West fizzles out--and I hope it fizzles out soon.

And jump from the Harlot system into the Beast system? That's what's coming. This channel itself is helping set it up. Jordan and Gad Saad happened to flub the interpretation of the Book of Job the other day (in actuality, God and Satan didn't have a bet. Job was tested for being a legalist that follows all the rules (Laws) but doesn't want to have a personal relationship with God. "I desire mercy, not sacrifice" rings a bell). We're searching for answers and these spiritually blind big brains are leading our side astray. They seem to make sense because they're infinitely more nuanced than what we get from "The Powers That Be," but it's still isn't truth. More and more people are becoming "Red Pilled." They're doing this on purpose to bring about the transformation. It's called "Rebellious Hysteria." Anybody with any brains and personal integrity can see that things are being run into the ditch on purpose. They're doing it to force a transformation of society and eventually forcing a revolution of some sort. But the Beast will be worse than the Harlot.
And who can argue with any of these big brains? They can weasel out of anything. Gad Saad believes Derek Chauvin is innocent on the basis that his conviction was politically motivated. No knowledge of the case required. He's so smart he can just have a quick look and figure it all out, I guess. He also thinks OJ Simpson was wrongfully acquitted even though the public knew at that time that he was acquitted because the police took OJ's blood from the court ordered blood sampling and took it to the crime scene and doped the crime scene blood that was later DNA sequenced (by a corrupt lab, but we didn't find that out until 10 years later). The moron blood expert for the police, Dennis Fung, didn't know that the blood vials are lined with EDTA, an industrial chemical used here as an anti-coagulant. They got caught red handed. Then they tried to say there was only microscopic amounts of EDTA in the crime scene blood and that's because EDTA is what's used to calibrate the blood testing equipment. So they argued about they levels of EDTA found. But then the defense had video footage of the crime scene investigators taken by all the news video cameras that showed Fung showing up with his pockets full of the vials. Look up the footage of Dennis Fung testifying in the trial. You'd have to be brain injured not to know he knows they've all been caught in a great big lie. And that's not the half of it but I don't have time to explain everything the public knew the day the acquittal came down. And these are the people that are going to usher in the new world system. I had an uncle that was a really successful engineer for a major corporation. He was the same way in that he believed that he could become an expert, near as much as matters, in anything with just a little effort.
I'm 59, never went to university and work in a factory and yet the few things that I have gained a profound level of knowledge in has taught me that the truth is spectacularly nuanced. No person can ever figure it out. You have to learn it from someone else. We need to stay open minded and filter like crazy. The closer you get to the truth the more convincing the "experts" are. But when you find one who transcends the last one you'll realize that last one was completely lost and had discovered a quirk of reality. The quirk can only be exposed by disconfirmatory evidence. The very thing that scientists and these big brains never look for. It's almost as if God has created things in such a way that if you only seek to prove things you'll find an uncanny number of interconnected evidences that appear impossible to exist by chance alone. And this exists in everything from basic physics to conspiracies (I think he did this on purpose). I'd even argue that there is no such thing as science (chemistry, maybe). All physics is based on precepts. Unproveable, untestable assumptions. Classical mechanics is based on f=ma. Force = mass x acceleration. They can't test this and can't even look at it mathematically. Electromagnetism is based on Magnetic Vector Potential which is even more mysterious. I'm not kidding. They don't know how electricity works. By comparison Quantum physics is fantasy land. No wonder they've invented phenomena that make up 95% of the universe but can't be found and 1 trillion alternate universes occupying the very space we occupy. I could be wrong. They may have invented tens of trillions of new universes since the last time I looked.
My point is that the unknowable unknowns in reality are huge. We have no way of knowing how much they make up of any particular branch of knowledge. How many people know that even though they've been studying electromagnetism for 200 years, they have no idea of the causal relationships? They don't know how electricity works. It's bizarre. And I have mountains of references for anyone wanting an argument. Science is just cutting edge engineering where they measure stuff and record it. Then we use that to make things. Then we pretend we're scientists and we know everything (near as much as matters).
I've worked with crazy conspiracy theorists for decades. One thing I've learned only during and since Covid was that the ass backwards, mindless, upside down logic of crazy conspiracy theorists is the exact same logic of all the world's greatest scientists and big brains. It comes from the heart not the brain. You want to know the truth or you want to be right? We live in a world of fake certainty ruled by big brains that are too smart to argue with. And nothing can stop what's coming. I can just imagine the futility of arguments I'm going to get into from here on out. How could I have not seen that man is fallen until just recently? We're doomed. I'm going to try to laugh at it from here on in. And maybe argue less.

Watched the full version elsewhere and it's great to see Kelly here with Jordan. She's immense.
