"Looking around" is so huge, because younger players tend to focus on two things: (1.) receiving the ball, and (2.) who can give me the ball? They don't spend enough time thinking about what they will do with the ball when they receive it. Vision is everything, well said in this video.
True
Really well done
Thank you

That’s me
I personally think that being well Disciplined and having a positive mindset is a major key on improving, I improved alot in sacrificing my other hobby for football and improved so much.
Same I haven't played soccer in many years and wasn't good anyway but I've been grinding so much for the past year and hearing what people tell me and reviewing the game in my head on where my mistakes were helped me a lot. Feels good when people notice your improvement so 👌🏼 trust the process
Exactly! This is why I deleted all my social media except for WhatsApp and UA-cam…
I don’t ever have a positive mindset 😊
Yea
Did you do any specific drills to help yourself improve?

0:46 #1 Looking Around (Scanning the pitch)
2:46 #2 Preparing Well (Stretching/Warming Up. Waste of time? Nah! it’ll prevent you from injuries)
3:46 #3 Willingness to run (My favorite🔥🤙🏼)
Because that's what heroes do

Honestly these tips don’t only help physically, but also mentally. When I started integrating these kinds of things, I felt way more confident in myself. This really helped me and I hope it helps all of you that read this comment to the end :)
Yessir
With your help I just signed for afc Wimbledon’s a team u12s
I play as goal keeper and I think that’s having a positive mindset is extremely important, I was saying to my self “I’m not gonna save this, my defender better save it”, and I was absolutely right, the ball was right there and I dived in the complete opposite direction. After that I was saying to my self”I got this I’m gonna scan his feet and get information to save this,”and I was right! So don’t be harsh on yourself you got this!
I’ve definitely improved my skills since watching the channel. Scored my first goal after a long time today. A massive improvement I have made in my game is my running technique. (Shorter more frequent strides, foot strike under the body instead of in front and sprinting on the toes) Thanks heaps! 💪🏽
congratiolations for your first goal. A year late for congratiulating but still.
Sometimes just seeing the clips of Mike or Will John doing the thing they're talking about helps so much more than just hearing the words, but scanning the pitch is such a helpful tip and I'm sure I will improve my game a lot if I implement this, thanks Unisport
Willingness to run. I felt that… I grew a bad reputation off the ball at the college level with teammates and coaches because I lacked this. Skills can only get you so far, I had to learned it the hard way.
Yeah. I have teammates who don't run.
It makes it really hard on me as a goalie. If the opponent has 3 players all running to attack but your players are not running to match them, it's game over
Yeah that’s true
Can we be friends guys
Thank you so much unisport ❤️👏

Such great tips. Every Unisport video I watch has tips I instantly want to use in a game
i agree with a lot of the advice, constantly knowing where you are on the pitch and who’s around you will help you better devise what you would do with the ball, or help you make off the ball movement. That also correlates with the 3rd idea on his list is making that extra run. i’ve found in personal experience, (this will be my 3rd year playing soccer) i received the ball much more when i’m always present in the play.
I love your channel I improved everyday I watch your videos and now I'm a very scary player on the pitch and a very important player thanks a lot for improving me as a player ❤️
I've been watching unisport since day 1 and I just love it!!!

Completley agree - especially with #1. As a new player, I kind of figured it out on my own though. If someone passed me the ball, I wanted to be ready.

Thank you bro❤❤
Ur vids inspire a lot
Thank u unisport
Because of unisport videos i'm better version of myself than i was before on the pitch. I really wanna see attacker tips in the near future (because i am one)
I would add #4 - Make the other team uncomfortable. Make them pass the ball before they want to and pressuring them before they are ready. Sounds simple but it really helps and creates turnovers.
Amazing vid bro!
great vid, thanks!
Damn helpful sir!
Having coached at decent level in London, UK, for some time, I agree with you 110%: ball watching, lack of preparation and unwillingness to run or inability to understand the importance of playing/moving - WITHOUT - the ball are by far the biggest obstacles in amateur football
Why do you hate Kennedy?
Hey bro , I'm from India ,can you share some information about Club/Academy in UK because I want to come to UK to play Football
@@itsyusufhassan Hi Yusuf, how old are you? The standard is super high, so academies tends to sign up players very young

Thanks man see you soon
Great video!
Nice tips ! Also, what is your jacket? Looks awesome and winter is coming 🇦🇺
bought a ball from unisports and they are AMAZING!!!
Very nice recommendations
This is great thanks. I would like to add one more habit that will improve your game immensely: work out with focus on legs and stability muscles. The stronger your legs, the faster and more agile you will be plus you'll most likely lose some stubborn fat that is holding you back. It also helps prevent injuries more when your muscles are stronger and can handle more stress put on it.
Should I lose weight above the legs (ie my torso, above the waist)? What should my body fat % be or my BMI? thx
@@nofurtherwest3474 Its not that scientific necessarily. Yes its good to be slim in the upper body but build up legs (look at Grealish for example). Idk bout the numbers but do mobility and stability based workouts while building up in weights as you progress so you will build functional strenght through all the ranges of motion (not only traditional concentric based movements as hypertrophies etc). Work your single leg exercises so you can build muscle while working stability which helps you to run properly and faster and build power in general.

You at the best man
Really helped 🙏
really nice vid keep it up
Unisport😤😤👏👏🔥🔥

You're talking is more inspirational than your tips, I really admire it. I just started playing Football at the age of 14, and basically I dont know a lot but I have hope and so I think its a good age to start, though I should've started earlier and as the FIFA World Cup is going on, its really fun. But most of all, I really liked this video, makes me feel like I can make it
Thx so much I honestly think these skills work and training but it takes a long time for me I need like 100 tips 😭
these are actually good advices ngl
Last year i got my "Willingness to run" And it CHANGED MY LIFE. As a striker, I wasent running and once I did I scored WAY more goals and got more respect. PLEASE DO THIS
Thank you so much sir for making this video I will do all this hope I also will play like other player in my club 😔...
1st option is really well defining
This is amazing habits we should learn it
Thank you your videos help me to train myself because I live in India and here we don't get football trainers easily
Your last tip is very good ♥️👍
