Good video Jay. I'm a winger myself and I've learned plenty from here. Just to add another thing my coach used to tell us wingers was to gauge our running and not just punting the ball forward and running after it. It was all about using pace intelligently in the game. It's tempting as a fast winger to leave a defender in the dust but it should be done when it is favourable to do so not just all the time. Super stuff Jay!
Honestly, I'm a young winger my self, and I do most of the the things that Jay said in this video. I have learnt a lot from this video. I also have a football session in an hour. Hopefully, I improve and my coaches see that too. Thanks Jay.
Nice! Im a 10 yr old winger who plays for IFK lidingö who usually gets bodied because of being skinny, but my speed, pace, skills, and shooting usually give me the advantage, Thanks for the tips!

So i wanted to get better at just football. I just made a queue for videos from this channel to watch after and then i came across this video i watched it fully 6:29 and now... Every single thing jay pointed out i could relate im a LW and now... I understand my problem thank you very much jay i will practice more for my match in 3 days and compensate for the lost training sessions because i want to prove i can go back to in prime. My biggest fault in this was tunnel vision and one thing i wanted to add was that i get a little bit nervous, i mean less than b4 because i saw one of your videos to not get nervous in matches and then i played good and scored 1 goal atleast every session but now im back to being trash..... Also when i saw one of the videos to not get nervous and demotivating yourself u said to make goals and make them easier if ur not doing good but i want to make a goal for myself.... Score more than 1 goal in that match and the hardest goal is to do a hattrick which i came close to doing after watching "not get nervous" video. Thank you guys and please remind me to tell you guys about what happened after my match
Football will be back on soon, keep fit bro, here are a few more tips that hopefully will help: Don’t always cut inside, switch it up to be unpredictable Work on your weak foot to have more options and be more dangerous Build chemistry with your fullback and if your fullback is decent in attack, don’t be afraid to send him on a run and cover his position Hope these helped
Fortunately for me I live in the UK and because it's the biggest sport here, clubs have been on and we've been able to get back to fitness after the long lockdown. Just keep on the move jogging and eating well and make sure the best when you turn up to your next training session. Be prepared!
Exactly what I'm going through. I love to dribble so I want to dribble past everyone on the pitch but in that pursuit I'll miss great passing opportunities to my teammates because I'm not even paying attention to them lol.

Hey mate, i don't know if you will see this comment, but I'm also a teen who is currently playing for a pro team's academy. I didn't have a competitive team until 13 and it will be brutal if you haven't played with a full team before and you should practice at least 3 hours everyday. If you have any clubs near you, you should play for them as long as you are good and eventually hope you will be scouted by a European team (if not in Europe already). Although it is very slim that you will play at Barca.
@@matsu4724 Here, the clubs and academy are all very political, they favor one group of community so i doubt even if I join those clubs, I'll ever reach my goal of playing European football. One big mistake that I used to do is I would always be running full pelt when I had the ball. Sometimes this would work if I was way faster than the defenders, but usually it doesn't work. It is better to slow down that way you have more control and beat your man head on. Then if no one is on you thats when you sprint. The best dribblers play an elegant game and use simple body fakes
