Lionel Messi masters this. He didn't need to be flashy on the ball. He just need to move as effectively as possible to dribble past the opposition
Zidane too. Good first touch and simple moves like v-drag, marseille turns and la croquetta make him one of the best.
@@trila5513 yes, iniesta or xavi also, they move slowly yet so effective on the ball, theres literally no point pressing them
You just need a body feint and then do it to the other side
hazard too. nobody can touch them, they ghost past everybody and never need anything flashy
Flashy skills are so overrated. All you need to do is master body feints and la croquettas
i once accidentally did a perfect La Croqueta past a defender and scored a goal. Best feeling ever.
I remember watching my dad play Sunday league as a kid and once he spammed croquetas to get past 3 defenders and even the gk shit was so funny 😂
same thing happened to me, stole it from the defender at the D and then croqueta-ed him, but didnt score cuz the keeper was huge asf.
It wasn't by accident, it was your instinct kicking in. It happened to me in my ball days alot. Trust me it makes you feel like you've unlocked a new skill or a level up 🤣🤣
@@bruhmoment702 your dad is spammer lol 🤣 nah but rly, to he able to get past 3 defenders + the gk easily is something impressive
as a pace abuser on the wing this video was absolutely made for me
I don't even need a croqueta, all I need is to play the ball to the front
I’m pass and shot abuser with pace as well and defence
If ur a winger u must be skilfull and good at shooting and crossing I guess
The only thing I need is to do a qroqueta and run
Is that so?? Well be more explosive on the wing💥 with the Adama Traore video on my channel..I already feel sorry for those defenders. 🤣
As a CB who occasionally plays RB, I can seriously say that at least 60% of my technical skills have been exposed in this video.
lol
You are not so great
#toxic
@@directionop246 huhh
Same
Also faking and being unpredictable is underrated. The defender can't defend your properly if they don't know what you'll be doing. That's why Messi's body faints are so effective: the defender can't predict where he's going until it's too late, then he just does a croqueta or sprints the other way
You judge very smartly and 100 % correct 👍🏻
Haha
Another insightful video from our professional football friend, Will John! What do you want next? /Jay
Siuuuu
Will John is really funny. like the guy, would like to see him in future videos!
How to increase speed of play and decision making
Finishing like Son
How to get better at finishing
For coaches, these videos i love them. Broken down and great to teach and coach. Many thanks guys and congrats!
so true!!
In my opinion, simplicity works better than skills while implementing dribbling in real time game scenarios. I basically spam the body fient and La croqueta over and over and it works 70% of the time at the least, because both of those moves are meant to break the momentum of the defenders.
Whenever an opposite player charges at you, you use the croqueta.
Whenever you charge at someone, use the fient.
I've never heard somebody say that the croqueta is a "defensive" skill, while the body feint is an "offensive" skill, and it makes so much sense. Thank you.
And make sure to use v pull backs against super aggressive players lol
I am kinda surprised that people don't use body fients as much. They are so effective. One skill I like the least is step overs
Even step overs only really work with a good body feint
You don't even really need the stepover with the body feint
I love stepovers, I just have only done them a few times. Mostly do them spontaneously and I'm kinda out of it usually. I surprised myself the first time I stepped over. Might try to use body feints less bc I overuse them.
A step over when running with the ball can be effective. Zidane used to do it well, and I think Modric does it well also. Getting the defender to lean one way then changing direction will often leave him/her in the dust.
However, doing a lot of step overs with the ball stationary and a defender in front of you is just being flashy for no reason.
Messi's feints are epic! 🔥 🔥 🔥
Thank God, Unisport posted this video, like I'm a very terrible player, I can't really pass, dribble, don't have good vision. The only thing is I'm really good at defending, and I'm able to contain flashy and skilly wingers and forwards. But still, I want to learn how to improve my vision and dribbling because I am actually the only one who cannot do that
Love this!! should be dropping videos on how to improve your game soon on my channel at some point
Same Problem
The only thing you can do is work harder than others as well as working more than them and you will improve.
bro if you wana know how play some football games like pes or fifa ....they help you to understand strategies by using through passes....i have done this and by time i have grown from the worst and weakest player to the best creative playmaker and i can dribble as per need as well.
watch their feet.. only move when your opponent lifts one foot of the ground.. no one can change direction with one foot
"The V pull back,the croqueta....SPAM my friends"😂
FIFA MOOD 🤣
The fact those 3 things are basically all I do by instinct surprised me, I always dribble people easily while some of my friends have better tricks and step overs, etc but simplicity is the key.
One of my favourite skill videos for those of us who find complex dribbling challenging in game situations. Thanks!
the ball joke never got old during this video 😭
Trust me bro 😂
I'm def a player that's not good at dribbling, and this video really helped me realize that it's not always about trying to be flashy. I've recently started to really master the croqueta and the v pull back and now it's way easier to get past defenders rather than tryna do the flashy stepovers and rainbows i did in the past and then end up failing and giving the ball to the opponent
These are the skills that I have masterd years ago in the 80's and 90. Those skills are very effective if you master them in combination with timing. don't forget please the skills of moving with the ball and changing direction.
Loves this vid, which is actually two videos; one, that is very enlightening (thank you) and another which is hilarious (more thanks yous). Brilliant job!
Dribbling is nice but it expose you to get injured, specialy in physical games. I love players who dribbles only when they have to. Personnaly these 3 are my favorites, i can do elastico instead but i avoid it because you put your ankle in bad position and when defender try to get the ball he may hit your ankle.
Great video! Two of the skills I've been trying to get my boys to practice! V-pull back and LA Croqueta! Can't wait to show them this vid, then someone else is telling them how effective these will be if they get good at them! Nice succinct point at the end! tks WJ!
A simple body feint is also very effective and easy to do
body feints are overpowered
Easy to do?, Ummmm 🤔.
4:16 this one got me😂
I personally really like the V pullback type moves. I use some drills to warm up my team. They are honestly really effective for any sort of player if you learn how to use it. It's extremely versatile.
Pullback is nice when someone is being super aggro and disrespectfully lashing out at the ball from up close. By definition it's not a skill that'll advance you up the field with great acceleration but still almost impossible to counter.
The best video I've ever seen, huge thanks for this guy
another skill I would add to this list or I personally use is just flicking/chipping the ball over the defenders feet, it works so well and its so simple.
Dude you should always make the videos...I love football more now because of you...
I needed that !!!!
Love the way you explained. Sure gonna practice it.
Something that I do with the last skill is slightly flick up the ball just incase either the defender puts a foot up, or if there are 2 defenders with a gap inbetween. The reason you flick it up is so that if the defender is to react and put a foot out, it’s unlikely that they will get the ball aswell as you and you will often win a free kick or penalty
Best channel I've ever seen ...everything's perfect 😩🥰
Best football youtuber in my opinion. Keeps it funny and serious at the same time
Body feint is also a way of dribbling
Great vid! Thank you!
My favourite football channel ;) keep going
Great tutorial and it's funny as hell! keep posting fellas!🤣
Best unisports video i have ever seen
this is the best unisport video ever made
An actual useful video by Unisport wow
This video is perfect for me. Thank you!
His videos are always exactly what I need and it’s kinda scary
Brilliant steps that I'm getting my 7 year old son to use to help him keep his game simple. Thanks for this Unisport @goluremi
1. Protect The Ball: 00:30
2. V Pull Back: 1:00
3. Pass (Give & Go): 2:20
4. La Croqueta: 3:11
Thank you #Unisport ❤💯
this deserves more views
Thank you for the simplicity
Love you negra you are truly something 👏👏👏
I think the body feint should be here. It doesn't have to be that athletic Messi type full body thing that utilizes a low center of mass. It can just be a subtle tilt of the upper body when someone is running fast at you to throw them off.
Simple yet effective
i love how you bring funny parts into your tuturials XD
That’s really good lesson 👍
Nice i needed that ❤️👌
As a winger who has good pace and can dribble but some skills are harder for me like la croqueta so if I master Iam definitely going to be a great player
Thnx for the video
lol
La Croqueta is one of the easiest skill moves bro

@@rfvq trust bro
You just have to keep practicing!!
Great video as usual. Added to this a person's first touch is crucial to any of this. You master your first touch, you master football
Mastering first touch you unlock all other plays in football...but I agree the first touch is essential for keeping the game simple and comfortable. Save the skill moves for when they're necessary, it's possible for best play to come from minimalism.
The simplest video, that made me think deeper 🙂
I love all of your videos
Thanks so much bro
I like this trainer cause he is calm and more best
Very useful 👍
thanks man your video was amazing 😂
Please do a video on how to improve long passing in the air technique as midfielder Im not doing it that well
THANKS A LOT
Very useful
Right , simplicity is a key👍
Very helpful, I did it on my friends
Really looking forward to becoming better at soccer... these videos are gonna help a lot
*football
I have always use the V pull back, its probably my most use move in my locker , one of the most semi-effective and easy move to do, i recommend it.
How did u start practicing bro? I’ve been trying to get into soccer and learning, jus bought my first ball and I need some guidance😪‼️💯

Sooooooo funny!!!!!!!!
Love it
Thank you sir 😊
Thanks bro💪
You are amazing i thought can I become a football like you ❤️ from India
After watching the whole video you made me laugh so hard💀💀💀😂😂😂
"Didn’t ask for the ball”
He did say "throw" though 🤣
He's funny 🤣🔥 but great vid will 🔥⚽
Thank you Mr Will John 9ice 1
i love this
Am always on predictable am a good passer even dribbler and shooting, defenders don't know What I have on my locker thanks to unisports for more wisdom to play the game
So grateful for this channel, really inspired me to start of my channel
number 2 is me. I rarely carry the ball because I dont want to. As a right back I want to defend. Get the ball. Give it to someone else. Get in space and put crosses in. I play simple passes and keep moving. 1 and 2 touch passes are all I do unless I'm crossing the ball.
Coaches always prefer team players like you rather than fancy but selfish dribblers
Please make an video on full week footballer dumbells workout
la croqueta honestly changed my football life
How you learned it is hard to learn
Naa, this guy can actually be a comedian🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣the delivery was just mad man, loads of thanks for this.
amazing video, exactly how i would like to play
This guy is so entertaining
I do these and don’t know I was doing it, but I’ll practice more
Pass and move into space works for me 😃
Helpful for me,,,am a cb❤
Tysm
My coach once had the ball at his feet and said, "Do you want to see me beat five of the opposing players?" He then lobbed an inch perfect pass into the path of the striker who proceeded to score with ease. He then looked at me and said, "If you can control the ball, move into space and pass well, you can play for me anytime. Fancy dribbling we can work on later!" I never forgot that.
Very nice
Wow i really need to do this mate
actually you can possibly combine doing the v pullback and switch the other way by doing a croqueta
Tnx bro
Am really good at the lacroqueta i have been doing it without knowing for 2 years
Hi does anyone know a website where I can go and download some skillz?
Won't need this video after tysm
the goat
I'm going to try this out on a match
Unisport please make Indonesian subtitles, every time I watch I don't quite understand foreign languages, Please make Indonesian subtitles so I can understand what you are saying🙏
My most effective dribbling technique in my arsenal. Works every time
This guy is hilarious 😆
I do the croqueta on the wing then I do a cryuff turn to get to the box
People say I'm a really good dribbler, but all I do is use these tricks. My stepovers are terrible, but I can perfectly weigh my cuts and pullbacks as well as shield the ball and I always look around for empty space to exploit and draw the defenders to me giving other people space. Then playing the killer pass, no stepovers just brain, passing, protection and practise
