Interesting comments! I'm listening through a pair of Senheisser HD600 headphones, and to me the PowerDewise sounds muddy, while the Rode has better presence. Thanks for giving us a side by side!
Great review! I prefer the warmer tone of the PowerDewise. I am a bit biased seeing as I own an iPhone microphone, an interview set, and a solo user mic, but P. DW wins the competition in my opinion. It offers everything I’m looking for and is more affordable.
The Rode Go microphone sounds a little deeper in tone, but both produce good quality audio. With that being said, price and features becomes the difference thus for me the Powerdewise is the head to head winner. However, let me state that I use the Maono AU100R lavalier microphone and it has a 236 inch cable!
Agreed, they both produced good audio. The RODE was slightly clearer in my opinion but considering all you get and the price difference the Powerdewise is definitely the smarter choice.
The Rode is a little more flat to me, with the Power DeWise a little more soft. I own both mics myself and was looking for a comparison connected to the Wireless Mic Go ii which I am looking to purchase. Sadly, I did not get to hear it directly connected to the Wireless pack. LOL I will say though, that it was great that you kept it unedited. I quite honestly like the Power DeWise as it is such a great buy and I use mine often. I will be purchasing another one when I get the Wireless Go ii.
Hi thanks for watching and for the comment. I honestly love the Wireless Mic Go II - yes it is expensive but the quality is outstanding. I was very sceptical before buying it but it was money well spent. It is so versatile and very well made.

Thanks for watching and for the comment. Yes the PDW is definitely an excellent microphone for a reasonable price.
