Excellent review thanks Angry hope you’re having a awesome season 🤙
Thanks for the review. Did your side boa interfere with the side wing of the highback?
Hey Avran, would you be able to add a shot of the binding disc(s) and a quick mention of what stance adjustability that offers to the adjustability section of future binding reviews, please?
I know that will be an important factor for myself in the future as this year I learned that while Union bindings with the camber disc do offer 2x4 connections, the 2x4 connection cannot be offset by the same 1cm amount (per binding) that a 4x4 connection could be shifted on the same disc. I know I can buy a separate disc that will allow me to shift the 2x4 connection, but it would be nice to know what comes right out of the box.
As a tangent: I also learned that Burton reflex combo discs have no lateral adjustability whatsoever and that Burton (as well as every retailer I've looked into) is out of stock of their microadjust reflex discs. I talked to someone from their Denver store and apparently there was some issue with the supply chain and they didn't produce any this season.
No
Fingers crossed this is the same kind of "no" you gave that guy who asked for the board sizes to be included :)
I agree Avran, this is serious power. Most heel side power I've ever put down on a snowboard. Toe-side difference is negligible. New Pantera is a good match, and a big step up in power compared to Pantera + Mercury's. Great pairing to mess with entitled skiers.
Are the ratchets and/or straps the same on all of the jones skatetech bindings?
No
@@AngrySnowboarder i have the mercuriy already, however I find the back panel a little too stiff. Is there one that has the same ratches/straps as the mercury but a more flexible back panel?
You mean the highback?
@@AngrySnowboarder yep
I'm curious for the Jones bindings compare to the Now models as they seem to have better end of season sales!
Big difference is just the straps and high backs with how they flex. Can’t go wrong with either company.
@@AngrySnowboarder yep, just curious what the flex difference is. They're both the now chassis and surely made at the same factory so... is one just more expensive because it says Jones haha.
No the expense comes down to the difference in how the highback is constructed more than anything.
jesus f’n c, $600 for this?
Could pay 500 and get some Clews.
