how was guenther a toxic boss. If mick was good he would have stayed. Being an f2 and f3 champion means nothing. He had super weak competition and almost lost the f2 title to a rookie yuki tsunoda. Yuki was 3rd in the f2 championship in his rookie season against a veteran mick. Look where mick was in f2 in his rookie season. He was 12th.Not only that, but mick had a better car against yuki. Prema was better than whatever car Yuki was in. If he was actually so good, then every team would want him back. Clearly they don't. They have more simulator data on mick than you do.
He also was instructed to push setups that felt fishy, and nothing like their counterparts in the simulator. In one free practice occasion, he was told to take some street circuit corner flat, said that it doesnt feel like the car can do that, they said he should do it anyway, and it instantly lost the rear, destroying the whole car. Press and Fans couldn't understand, and just hacked away at mick. Such a bullshit team to lose the career to.
Mick is a talented driver. I think it’s unfair the way a lot of the F1 community treats Mick they act like it’s he’s worst driver they’ve ever seen. I wish he got to finish the 24h with his team. He drove brilliantly even at night. It’s not easy.
mercedes and probably schumacher's effort to send/join wec is a good choice since endurance help mick enhances his consistency and minimise errors. he's well known for crash and now he might be better and consistent, he got the speed as well
