There r no contracts better than booking from the board and thats the problem . Its not amazons fault its the people who think 2500-3000 is good money and its decent but its penuts to me and a lot of people i know. 5 bands a week is wat im use to. Yall settling for anything just to secure a load.
@@fabianrodriguez-ek5nzone thing about that is nobody, especially a owner operator is going to tell you where they book their loads, just gotta dig deep yourself and make relationships and connections along the way
2500-3000 a week is great for a mf coming from a warehouse 🤷🏿♂️ not everyone has your experience and expertise! That's a huge step up from what I'm making right now, I make $4500 per month. I can see where you coming from though. ✌🏿
This is a guaranteed consistent win for those currently struggling. I mentioned this a few videos ago. It’s a definite way to reward those dedicated with Amazon and bait for others to stay persistent. Good info Vic.
What's good Bigg Vic! Yes I see some nice contracts for the Minneapolis area. Even the spot loads pay well. I do wish some had a little more patience and let the rate run up. Amazon is paying.
@@BiggVicquestion, I have an opportunity to purchase a truck and authority. Would I be better off doing that or starting my own? I know new authorities have trouble booking loads, has a clean record also. Thanks man
The only thing I don't like about contracts is you don't know where you're going or start time till the Sunday before you start. Doesn't really let you plan
The 6 month contracts are different than the weekly ones. You see what routes are you bidding on. Much better than the 1 and 2 week contracts. It’s too much mystery, if you are going to surprise me make sure the money makes sense. 😂 ✌🏽
Question: If a rent a penske rental box truck and suppose it runs 4000 miles per week how much fuel will be consumed according to today's fuel rate? Will it be profitable running 4000 miles with a rental truck? Using a good MC* Would I be able to save $700 per week after covering all the expenses including fuel driver pay insurance installment per week Please guide
Big vicc I'm in region 4 and HR from Indy an hr from CVG or Cincinnati, I got six months authority this week the first six months has been rough!!! Got any love this way?
Love the vid and the knowledge you know about Amazon. I’m thinking of opening a trucking business and do the Amazon relay and other apps that’s out there, I’m just stuck on weather to rent a truck or just buy one. What would you recommend? I also know that with Amazon I need to for my dot and MC for 180 days minimum. What can I do before then ?
I’ve only purchased never rented. There are other apps you can use along with other load boards to book freight. IMO rentals make people comfortable. This isn’t a comfortable business. You’ll have to get comfortable being uncomfortable. 😊✌🏾
Im just starting OTR I’ve been doing Final mile appliance routes the problem I’m facing for booking otr loads is an inspection any way around around that or a way to get an inspection???

Hello I’m still in planning and savings for starting a box truck business. Can I ask what brokers pay on partials? Is it considerably less than a full boxtruck load? I might try do 400 mile turnarounds if I can do like 3 or 4 picks and drops. But I might need dispatch help if i do that. I’m trying to find out if it’s gonna get me more than a full load and if it’s worth it. Otherwise wait out do Amazon. I’m from Phoenix so it would be either Vegas, El Paso or LA. But I like doing dedicated same stuff day in and day out.
Double check everything with FMCSA. Or reach out to RMIS who does the on boarding for Amazon Relay, they should be able to tell you what you are missing. ✌🏾

Go to a weigh station and ask for a Level 1 or Level 2 inspection. They may or may not do it depending on the officers 👮♀️ on duty.
