Hi
Polish Husars Sabre please
@@nobody_somewhere why? Makes it more fun
Lukey S yes its dead animal i like it
Pls post more Forged In Fire 😁
Its all fun and games until the strength test.
Heart attack time
but he still lost
Especially if it's a bending test. Those hurt me on a whole new level to watch.
Especially if it's J. Nielsen testing it
@@synthemagician4686 I was about to say this. I remember the one where in the test the blade took on a bend to one side, then as they bent it back, it fixed the bend partially, then took another slight bend the other way above the first, making the blade in to a very narrow S shape. OOFFF
Judge: after repeatedly slamming the same part of your blade into a metal rim, it has acquired a microscopic chip
Contestant: 😟
The strenght test was stupid the blade was not ment to be used like that
And that's exactly the reason why they do it. To see how strong th eblade is even when put through something unexpected. The normal strength test is, in a way, the kill test.
Aurilion44 But in the second test that ring was already a little bit more down and he not hit it like he did before. That was not fair i think.
@@petruradu7242 Indeed blades are made to cut flesh and bones not barrels and trees.
@@panteaflorin i thibk they were trying to sê the durability of it
This show is about weapons and slashing stuff but has got to be the most civil and respectful show
99.9% of the competitors are class acts. I've only ever seen a very small handful of guys who were not very good sports
I seen guys help each other....
That was the way back then. Honor & respect. One wrong move & it might escalate to a battle of death.
I agree i think its how the culture of being a blade/blacksmith wherein they are like knights. These guys are real men and they deserve respect.
@@moijavier9658 Very nice culture indeed
Episodes like this make me really sad, that there can only be 1 winner. I hope we will see them both again?
Fleischwolf it's a competition. Wouldn't be much of one when multiple people can win
I really wanna see them do a project together
Yes it is sad when smiths are very good and perform so well but loose to the smallest detail because of the competition. If only there was like a consolation prize or something for second place like 500$ or something.
Id say if the weapons are equal in design we have the competitors battle gladiator style
No worries cupcake that’s called a competition and a true competitor understands what that means.
The competitors attitude was so amazing. We need more happy people like them on earth!
would really like it if they had more close ups of their swords, would be nice to see their craftsmenship up close.
I think on the full eps you can see the blade close ups.
Agreed, they should display them on the stands before the test. It only takes 30 seconds to rotate around with the camera. A shame
Tyrfingr if you watch full episodes , before they do the testing they do exactly that
@@kainhammons3374 Then it is a shame they didn't include those scenes here ;)
People like me are never satisfied! :D
Love the sportsmanship in all of these
Ikr? They are so happy with each other and even hugging and all. Both very good bladesmiths.
Can we appreciate how banger these metal backing tracks are when they're testing the weapons?? Shoutout to the sound dude/dudess
I agree my brother
yeah the second track was amazing with it's intro into the song
I absolutely love how the contestants are always so humble and gracious! The sportsmanship is as impressive as their craftsmanship!
1:58 got me 💀💀
I usually can tell who won but for the first time I couldn't.
it was easy who won from the Cut test
@@Hayastantzi92 Because damage was only done to the other blade, it made for a close decision. Also the cut test wasn't the determining factor, but rather the knuckle guard. I agree with OP.
@@Hayastantzi92 that wasn't even the reason why he losed
@@Hayastantzi92 no, you can say all you want, but Marc won...yes his guard came up there knockle, but the fact that that blade didn't got any damage on it or rolling at the strenght test. Is more impressive then a guard on which they all agreed it wasn't a big of a deal
I could as soon as the first tester said the guard rubbed his knuckle.
*EET WILL KEAL*
eet weel keel
Eht wehl keeeeel 🤪
This dialogue is the hallmark of this show
Engrish. The true universal language.
Hopefully with lots of blood and guts. Maybe a chopped off head.
Right? ;)
Gotta love the sportsmanship-
How can a show be so violent but so wholesome?
4:34 that IT WILL KILL expression was very deadly and oddly satisfying
Two absolutely beautiful blades these two turned in. Both should be exceedingly proud of their work.
This is why I love this show. Both weapons were fantastic, and it all came down to one minor detail. Both guys did awesome work. It's a tough competition.
"And most importantly it will keal...."
I watch this show to hear this
Dude that deserves a tie two beautiful and amazing blades! What an ending so close if it wasn’t for a rubbing guard they both should of won.
Both of those guys are Winners!... Thanks for Sharing
اللهم إن في القدس أبطال فاحفظهم وثبت أقدامهم 🇵🇸 وإن في غزة جيوشا فسدد رميهم وانصرهم نصرا عزيزا ❤
I love the respect the contestants show to each other
More than the show ... these 2 participants were the most coolest of them all... of all the shows... they were freaking respectful to each other and totally enjoyed the making of this amazing sword...
For me both are winners... amazing blades...
The way he said "hanging like a chewing gum" cracked me up
This episode is really a neck to neck competition between two skillfull blade smiths👌👍
His sword really is amazing. Just the guard.
One of the closest competition on the whole show in my opinion, both did a great job.
Good battle. Mark just failed to make it comfortable for the hand. Keep up the good work smiths.
These are awesome swords! I want one now! 😀
Scott made a beautiful blade.
Both these guys pass the vibe check.
For some reason I really like that technique where they slam the blade into a curved log to put a curve in the blade.
My best phrases in this program are
It will kill
It will cut
And you are the forged in fire champion
😊😊
Very interesting program.
1:57 hahahaha my man keepin it real!
I love how the two competitors are just having a good time watching that pig get obliterated
These guys were just wholesome
4:23 That was the best fist bump i've seen on tv
No shame in coming in second in this competition. Both did great. The rub is a small difference, however I also respect giving it to the lighter, faster blade that matched the strength test.
Can’t imagine loosing because the judges have big hands, even though your blade doesn’t deform
@Liberty or Death they have dQ a person without even doing the strength test for this exact reason
@Liberty or Death but even then, considering Doug's martial arts background, they'd probably prefer the balance and weight.
@Liberty or Death Of course you can fix chips and rolls. Swords used to meet other swords all the time and they weren't a one use item.
If I'm correct, the judges actually have fairly small hands, they frequently complain about big handles.
Blades be damned. The dog was the best part! 2:39
2:41 awww puppy
Been watching like four or five episodes everyday for two weeks or so, and all I can say is that this was the closest competition I've seen so far. Both of them deserved victory, but at the end of the day just a little detail does make the difference.
Yes. I'm happy for that guy.
Those were two amazing swords.
When they were cutting the pig with the second guy's dussage and both the contestants were like little kids getting excited lol, heartwarming.
Both these Bros are winners in my book.
6:06 mostly like abdominal congestion sound
These two are legit looking like Dad and Son watching a forged in fire episode.
That might be one of the most relatable way to describe a feeling💯😂
1:52 - 2:02
I hope this guy wins.
And he did - sweet!
He’s my old teacher
Imagine being the guy that has clean the weapons between tests
what i like is that theses guys really look like they're having a good time, no stress no pressure, just two smithes having fun
I really lile this show, but honestly, i think sometimes they should get someone, who knows how to fight with that specific sword.
Yea not really gonna work. Many weapons of old no longer have masters of them. Take a look at asian weapons more towards Japanese. You would think dougs training would know how to use them. Not based the displays and formal videos out there about them. Youll see often the baseball type swing. This simply isnt common during sword use.
@@1014p no it isn't but there's more than enough people who know how to use European swords, HEMA et cetera, so at least for the European ones... I know what you mean though. Doug's training is good for Asian stuff and Philippino stuff, but not for Europe stuff
These 2 smiths are great
As soon as I seen that weapon I knew it would come down to the guard.
"Most importantly itll KELLLLLLLLLLLLLLL"
Now this was a good episode
"I'm gonna get my 10 grand in ones so I can roll around in it!" Reminds me of cartman "Yeah, Kyle's money!"
This was a great episode in my opinion. Great sportsmanship and blades all around
People who say they disagree with the judges’ decision are not considering how big of an issue a guard made of lead is. Perhaps the judges should have elaborated on this instead of just mentioning a little knuckle rub, or even tested the guard itself. A rule about what materials are allowed would also help. You could bend a lead guard back and forth by hand with very little effort (funnily enough, eliminating that pesky knuckle rub), and a blade would easily cleave through it. It was never made of lead historically and should not have been of lead here. It will not do what it is supposed to do, thus it is not fit for purpose.
As for a blade with nicks or rolls, it’s not as big of a deal in most cases provided it doesn’t lead to a crack. As you can see, it still performed well. You’ll find similar damage on antique swords.
He used a lead block as an anvil to shape his guard.
Those 2 are so chills I wanna have beer with them
Taking a chip out of the blade should've counted for more than a guard that rubs your knuckle a little, c'mon
i agree...
I'm so happy that wreck it Ralph won
1:58 I can't agree more.
Comfortable weapon > effective weapon
Wow, they both did excellent! And what a spunky no fuss pair these two! :)
Mark is never gonna let a piece of metal touch another knuckle again
I like!! Forge thick! Grind thin!!! You win!!
10:08 - That woke me up.
This was by far my favorite episode love both of the .
one of the closest episodes ive ever seen, both these guys love what they do and you can tell with their attitude and craftsmanship. Either could have won i think.
One of my favorite swords, also known as the Dussack or Sinclair Sabre
In a while scott get stuck.....mark helped him a lot to survive. And he get this title by mark's humanity....
When I saw this channel for the first time, I immediately thought of MasterChef
Title: German Dussage
My brain: *German Sausage*
For real both are winners! 🏆
The smiths in this are like homies
1:57 internet gold
“It tastes good too”
-Mark 2020
Yeah touched lil bit but blade was sturdy and sharp
Scott actually looks like Ivar Lodbrok but, not cripple enough
7:54 when you glitch out and pop boogie with your weapon in CoD
All have to see the full episode for mark's humanity......
So what do they do with the pig Carcus afterwards ????? DOES THE LOOSING CONTESTANT GETS TO TAKE IT HOME ?? LOL
Doug really has intentions on those pillars
Man, that's a draw. Both amazing blacksmith's.
1:31 POV: you just use a anvil to enchant your diamond sword with a book to sharpness
2 of the Best
The weapon shown is not a Dussack or Tissacke what the German names would be. It is a cutlass (Entermesser in German), in this style to be found in the dutch navy and on German ships of its time.
The Dussack instead has been a very simple weapon made out of only one piece of cheap steel from the blade to the bended part around the grip. Many Dussacks even had no fabric or leather around the grip.
And what's most important, the Dussack has never been sharpened as this was considered a step to much in production. It had to be as cheap as possible.
But the weapons made in this episode are real nice cutlass tho.
Greatings from Germany
Woah! Close fight
Press 4 for Bacon and Satisfaction.
1:57 I feel this dude so much lmao
i love this show.
now I want an anime about smiths
Yess!!! Kansas boy wins!!! I used to live near emporia
Never rub the judges in any capacity...
almost tought he was gonna say BOOOOOM BABYYY
Winner by points not by KO. Boy was this a close one!
I would not surrender my sword to these people.
You do not like it, you do not get to keep it.
This is my labour and materials in there.
