- The people who put this video together used a lot of video that I shot - which is super fun. Our view is from the side of the stage.
The thumbnail shows the angle from video I took. I have no idea who contributed the other angles. I do not know who the people are who put this video together. I hope they don't mind me posting their finished product.
The recording is made from the audience - so the sound is not perfect, but it's pretty good for an audience recording.
If you don't wait for the final guitar solo, you are completely missing the point. :-) To this day, it is the last guitar solo ever played at a David Gilmour concert.

It was a privilege to be there. I may have been right at the back, and Mr. Gilmour was just a tiny speck in the distance, but it was still an amazing experience.
He played it like he didn’t think he’d ever play it again, too.

@@JeremyDeBoseHe even did the sirens again that he hadn't done in over 20 years. I think he knew it would be a long time till he made another record and tour so maybe he did actually think it would be the final time playing it or something.

I'm a 72yr old, 100% dyed-in-the-wool Floydian, so Sir David Gilmour can do no wrong in my eyes. But, because of the terrible live acoustics & fan noise in the Albert Hall, the recording sounded "woolly" or indistinctly muffled compared to other live performances. I saw the Lads live @ the Houston Astrodome (which is gigantic) in 1982. It wasn't great, it was fucking Life-Changing!!! It took three days for me to return to my normal mental state & re-adjust my synapses. God only knows how many speakers surrounded that huge dome, but we could hear every single note coming from the stage, especially the "ping" of the "pinprick" of Bob Geldoff's hypodermic before the "show".

David Gilmour get's more out of a chord than most guitarists get out of their career.
I don't know anything about playing guitars, but i always feel he is telling a beautiful story when he plays. No one else gives me that feeling/sense.

Seriously Mate, try and get Mr. Gilmour to watch this, it is nothing less than amazing. Besides a few dips in the audio (due to the feeds that you used, not your editing), it is near flawless. The worst that he can say is "NO"
Just to be clear - the editing job is not mine. The people who put this together must have downloaded my video shot from the side of the stage during it's very brief lifetime on youtube before it was taken down by pink floyd copyright police. They then put it together with other video sources and the audio to put together this video and they did a great job. I do not know who they are or I would give them the credit they deserve. Pink floyd now seems fine with having this posted as long as they can run ads on it . The shot in the thumbnail is from the video i took - we were right beside the stage and about 3 rows up. A great perspective that i thought should be recorded. hope you agree. :-)
