Hey Steve, thanks for this video! This gave me a better understanding of locating bass when the shallows are not producing... I need to start on my offshore fishing skills.
Thanks Steve for showing we can use electronics on the Delta. Makes me feel better considering how much they cost. Can’t say how many times I’ve casted out in the middle of the channel to do what I call a maintenance cast to clear my line and then I catch one. This was a great suggestion for everyone to go off-shore when they are not stacked up on the bank.
Hey Steve, great vid... ledges and dropoffs is a strategy we've not been consistent at but when we have fished them, we've surprised ourselves. Thanx for getting it back into the mindset! I tried it last week and it did produce a couple. Gotta force myself to think of it more and this vid helped!!!
Ok, Steve. Now it's my turn to take that aspirin! And I will gladly do that in exchange for that wealth of bass fishing information. That was a truly awesome learning video. Many thanks. Among other things, I learned how much I don't know about bass fishing, or at least how to fish the Delta for bass. It's overwhelming at times. I'm one of those guys who is an occasional Delta visitor, and I have caught a fair number of fish on each occasion, even a few good size fish (for me). But I have to admit that I lack the understanding of exactly where and how to fish. Guess I've just been lucky to snag a few fish and the Delta is such a great fishery that if you get out there on the water you're probably going to catch something. At least this video narrowed down the choices a bit.
Great video, Steve That’s kind of how we finished the tournament this weekend my nephew, throwing in close and I was on the ledge, but seem to embarrass ourselves again I’m taking a better look at my rods now. If I can’t figure it out that Vexus will be for sale soon, you’re the best one to watch. Camo guy.
Awesome video Steve. I love fishing offshore weed lines that are really define instead of sparse ones. If I feel like covering water I’ll use a crankbait to deflect off the veggie and generate a reaction strike. If the fish are fat and lazy then a dropshot would do the trick.
