Maybe the old man was trying to keep y’all away from the roots!
100% haha, a
exactly!!!
Thats what I was going to say :(
That's exactly what I usually do. Even when fishing - "Are the fish biting?" nope-been here an hour and not a single bite yet. 😂
I wouldn't be surprised if the old guy was the one who made it fall. And now lies to everyone who finds it. Bad ethic.
Haha, when an old timer sees you digging in his honey hole and says " there's no gold there, don't dig there." You can be certain you're in the right spot.😂
That's right go by what ya know! Thanks for watching Brandon!
theres no gold in there thats what he was hoping you would think . you knew better and was right keep finding that GOLD!!!!
Found your page a week ago and now I cant stop watching! Keep this golden content rolling baby! Wish you all the best.
Cheers from Sweden!
Thanks Fredric Soder glad you enjoyed it!
Awesome time!
Would love to see you work this creek with more videos.
Nothing like watching shiny in the pan after a good day washing dirt! 👍🏻
Right on, dude! I'm really happy that you went up there & got away from all that flour gold(not that it doesn't add up) down around Denver. That's much more like the pictures I sent you of what I find around here! BTW, I replaced my snuffer bottle x 3, lol! Glad you guys had a good day. 👍😎
*YOU ARE A GOOD TEACHER!* Yes, my rock has GOLD IN IT after shining a light onto the surface! You can see smaller than popyseed size flake gold. Has the rust/quartz streaks. Randomly picked the rock up cause I thought it looked nice an of value. After all maybe Northern, New Jersey does have gold you just have to crush rock pieces!
Cant wait for a video with you and dan hurd together. Congrats on the beautiful gold.
Nice little day trip gold panning excursion. Good luck with the move.
I'm guessing that under that tree was where that old man found a ton of gold, so he was trying to keep you away from it so that he could have more gold for himself!
That was awesome! new strategy, look under trees lol Great Job Man!
I was going to say...always go with your instincts first and then you did. What the heck was the subliminal wording this time. It went so fast and I couldn't find it. Fun in the sun again, Shane.
Great video as always. Have a great weekend!!! :-)
congrats on the nice picker
Excellent day out Shane and once again; stunning scenery, gold and company. That was one of the most beautiful places you've been to anywhere with those mountains as a back-drop. You lost your daughter somewhere along the way? Loved this vid a lot, kind of refreshed me :)
My daughter lives in PA so she doesn't live in Colorado with me.
@@Klesh Oh, I thought she was on this part of the trip with you :)
I plan on heading there at the beginning of July and these videos help with the recon.thanks and be safe out there
Have fun!
Great video, yeah I think the old man was trying to steer you away from his spot 👍
Great job Shane glad you killed it headed up there next weekend.
Nice haul, my fiance and I went to Arapahoe Bar for our first ever trip today and found around 50 colors in about 1.5 hours. All flour gold but still happy to find anything with the creek running at 1200 haha. Keep up the good work man you inspired us to get out and sluice even in unmanageable water 😀
Awesome job! Yeah I was at the Arkansas river today in Canon city, and it was...well dangerous. You'll see in an upcoming video haha!
u should come thunder egg hunting here in oregon
Excellent camera footage I love watching your videos!
Top vid Shane. From one meat bomb to another,"knees too the breese".
AATW!
@@Klesh All the way mate!
Hey love your videos, your channel has inspired my own
Cue the medieval music
Nice video as always, good luck with the moving man it can be a real b word sometimes. I just finished moving a few days ago as well it sucked
Id love to do some river panning but I'm quite confident I wouldn't find anything. Maybe I'll try anyways haha
Give it a try man, worst thing that happens is you have a fun day on the river!
Great video!
Nice, well done matey

Gold is where you find it----proven time after time.
good eye
Nice work mate
I wish a guy could run a tromal in that spot and feed it with a mini excavator as the water is cold and takes a lot out of you. Freddy Dodge mines a lot in colorado and does very well, has a tv series from that area... has a whole family of minors there and it would be a shame if you didn't connect with him. He is a people person. Once he took some guys from a tire repair shop out and paned some gold there. Wasn't much but he did it in a couple pans from the roadway. I'm not fond of colorado as I am of alaska where gold can be found in driveways and creeks along the highway. I always thought I would hit the big one here. Rumors were when they first came here in the eighteen hundreds, they found shovel fulls of gold. Of course gold was about seven dollars a once then.
That's true, even here in Colorado people were finding up to a quarter ounce per pan, and yeah back then gold was $20 an ounce!
I'm coming home. Keep the fire going
🔥
i was there about 2 months ago and it was dry as a bone. it was a sad day.
She did a great job on the camera work getting close up's of the pan! (better than Klesh might I say?)
lol
This is prob so fun to do but now way u can get gold in the netherlands XD
You can find gold in the netherlands. Watch my Finding Gold in NYC video!
THANK YOU for what you do - do a NICE job!
Thanks Pamela :) Nice!
Nice
Nice!
Lol. The conversation could go on and on.
The cameras not blurry I’m blurry lol I rewinded 3 times to catch that
Good catch!
I think he wanted you guys out of his area
I agree Smithsgold, and thanks for watching!
I like how he said he doesn't do it anymore. What a lie. That is the same old man that told my friend the same thing when he found us digging in a very deep hole about 300yrds from the parking area. Had some of the biggest gold I have gotten out of Cache Creek. Thanks for not listening to him my friend.
Old man grumps tried his best didn't he?! You didn't fall for it! Good for you bro! Awesome day, awesome video, thanks man!
Dude! That's a nice bit of gold! Well done!
It's at the largest hydraulic mining site in Colorado. Got shut down in 1911 while they were still on pay because of legislation. If you ever make it out to the states to prospect, it's a must visit! #oldmoldyhat
@@ivxxdiesel36 sign me up, that may be a little closer than you think.
@@VoGusProspecting I'm trying to hit cache creek this weekend, more likely over the weekend of the fourth.
Trying to convince you to stay out of his sweet spot.
Looks like the Chines got there. They left piles of hand washed cobble like that almost every place they worked. Cool Vid When working Gumbo Clay like that I find putting 3 or 4 Thumb size rocks in the pan panning sure helps breaks the gick up.
What a fun day! You sussed out some fine shiney too! That old timer trying to bamboozle you away from his day claim. I saw right through those shenanigans lol!
That is awesome we need some Klesh Crumbs.lol.Miss yah glad your having fun bro looking like a (NICE) spot.
Another great video Shane !!! I think the old guy was upset you were in his spot lol looks like you all had a fun day. Keep the videos coming buddy
PJ NEEDS AN RDAT PATCH. FANTASTIC DAY, THANKS FOR SHARING.
Great day Prospecting. The bloke was walking around with a vial of old gold in his pocket. Dodgy! He probably ditched his gear after sighting you all. Then come over for a squiz. Great last pan for the video 🍻
Great views! Great video as always. Keep up the great work!! I like my AT Pro but then again I’ve never tried anything else but Garret metal detectors.
Cool read, no idea if gold is here or not. Heard quartz in your other video so showing you this article. mcrocks.com/ftr12-2/StreeterOctober2012Page2.html (If link not safe for you search "Paterson, New Jersey quarry").
Ive learned that where you are told not to dig is the best spot to dig!! Nice gold!!
This Is a cool man
And Sir I thank and applaud for the quality of your content.
Ole Buddy: Don't dig there, no gold under that tree.
Klesh Guitars: Hold my Adult Sodie Pop!
Glad you guys got on some gold. Woke up only to hear my phone ping with a new Klesh Video. It's like being a kid again. Waking up on Saturday morning to watch his favorite shows! Another great episode by "The Dude" himself! Til next one Shane...
Going to be honest here.. as a kid I grew up in Colorado and my dad loved camping deep in the Colorado rockies, and dad loved panning for gold. I got used to the ice cold water and would go under using reeds for air and tweezers to just pick the gold flakes out of the water. It wasn't hard to get a gram in a couple hours or less
Cool!
The creek that i had on my property had clay , i used an old petrol driven cement mixer with a wire basket i made up, it worked exelent after floods i would retreave it from farther down the creek clean out the engine and start again, oh happy days never bothered with flour gold just left it in the mixer.
Whats up man? Glad to see you out and about. Glad you didn't listen to the old man. It sounded like he wanted to keep you out of his good stuff. Picker would be a good name for a dog. German Shepard all the way! I hope you can have a dog at the next place you live. Love your prospecting vids. keep washing rocks man. Long live Crusty Rusty!!!
Hello KLESH!!!:-):-):-) As Your Threaders have said...Good Move not to fall for that (Nothing There BULL) THAT TREE ROOT SYSTEM IS RIPE!!!:-):-):-) Bless You & Much Continued Successful Finds!!!:-):-):-) Bye for Now !:-)
Thank you Lisa Money!
That’s quite a bit of gold there! Enjoyed the video 👍
Olá amigo adoro seu canal , eu também tenho um , falo de garimpo , Gold
Not bad ! But if you want good gold come to NorCal. We’ve got the best ! 👍😊🇺🇸🍀⚒
I will be with UA-cam video creator and gold prospector Two Toes for one of my California episodes, he is in northern CA.
Some life force energy brought me to your video. An I randomly find a rock like you talked about in your Australia video, iron streak with quartz. Manifest Destiny. 💙💚💛💜💙💜💛💚
Kick a$* content and awesome prospecting! I hope you guys find more Nuggets And May yous prosper! Enjoy yourself 👍
The camera's exposure was way too high and it suddenly dropped when the vibe-killing old chap burst onto the scene. Looks like even machines tend to ignore him.
Keep it up, sir. Hopefully, you'll hit hundreds of thousands of subs soon.
You should prospect your downstairs neighbor before you leave. Lol. See just how much treasure you dropped that you can recover.
Jesse went from 10 Subs to 119 sub in 1 day haha awesome!
How exciting, and very cool man! I want to buy some prospecting equipment and try it (just ordered a kit). An addition to my metal detecting and exploring. Great video man!
good luck my dude
"Nuggets and Stuff" yep...... Got a nice little chunky one today before the furnace came on...
Nice!
great video Shane, nice bit of the yellow stuff and it looked you were having a good time and i agree don't always believe what other people say about the area you are working cheers
That's right go by what you know and instinct~!
It's funny how there is no gold anywhere...until you find it. 🤘😉
True!
A great day in the high country. My four year old loves to watch your videos with me. We bought her a kit with a 8 inch pan that she (and poppa) can learn on.
I have to ask but i have always seen you wearing these pants and i have tried looking for them without any luck , where do you get them , whats the price and what are they called klesh ?
They are Fjallraven Keb Gaiters, working on becoming an Ambassador for the company (which means events/giveaways etc!)
@@Klesh Awesome sounds great , ill have to save up and get me some it looks like they'll stand up against knelling in the sand/dirt
Dream mat good mat to use I have pocket one for scouting works good
Nice one on the picker 👍👍 keep up the great videos and good luck in your search for the golden nugget 👍👍
love to watch keep it up......working on the meteorite thing trying to set up a little expedition .ill get with ya when i know more
Good fun lad always look forward to your new vids
Looks good klesh! We did very well out there on memorial weekend, and now the water is running much faster! Found my first picker there too and posted it on FGIC. The whole area was under a glacier and that's how all the deposits formed, also why all the clay is there. Great video!
That looked like so much fun! I think you need to get a dog, a golden lab, and name them Nugget 😛
great job mate love watching panning or sluicing on the creek man good job
Definitely love your videos too mate👍
Please use your bucket as a pan I mean fill it half way and stratisfy it then test the layers
That kind of works if there's a small amount of dirt in the bucket, but you have to pour it out into a pan and re-do it anyway to recover the gold
@@Klesh even with plenty of water and a lid? Surely it still stratisfys heavys so you can scoop out upper layers and repeat if you have no pan and want yo carry out one 5 gallon of cons?? RESPECTS
Thank you sir for sharing the shiny stuff👍🙏 Excellent filming👌
- R.I.P. Thomas "Tank" Tanaka🙏
Hey bro, why don't you like Garrett metal detectors?
If you watch my metal detecting videos in Scotland last year, my Garrett AT Pro fails me and I ended up having a partially wasted trip. I've even been through 4 Garrett pinpointers. Garrett machines work great...but only when they work. I must say that Garrett customer service and repair shop are very kind and helpful, they always take my returns and repair stuff, even if it's out of warranty, but...That isn't good enough for me, so I switched to Minelab.
I was told there was no gold left in Ouray Co. also haha see my profile picture
You know I've been finding a lot of clay areas here in Michigan I've also found gold here in Michigan but when I find the clay I get discouraged not thinking that it's there I think that you're changing my whole thought process about the clay and gold if you're finding it in clay and I'm going back to the spot that I went to couple weeks ago and keep trying to find something I got decomposed material on the legend of the river probably about 30 feet high up of the river you see the water just pouring right out of it so yeah I didn't know if there's gold in clay but with what you're showing me I'm definitely not to go back
Looks so fun when u find a chunky pc
Beautiful girls, dogs, sunshine and gold makes for the perfect video👍😉 am sure you lot will be back there canny soon!
That’s a bummer! I left around the 7th! Cool video, and a cool place to live!
Nice!
Colorado Nuggets. Hummm I need to get you to Mexico and show you some gold boulders. He-He. Any way thanks-A- Bunch for the Videos as always. Three thumbs up!!!
LOL Prospecting Cache Creek... we have a casino out here called Cache Creek... the image in my head right now of you prospecting inside the casino is hilarious!
You should see if you can get a polarized lens cover for your camera, it'd really help knock down a lot of the glare in the bright sun and make everything look way more colorful.. just remember to take it off when it's low light or you won't see anything.
I've been to Cache Creek many times when I lived in Colorado. Dealing with all that clay will get you gold but the reddish orange material is highly mineralized and that's where you will find your gold.
That guy was just trying to help you out, there is gold everywhere at Cache Creek. There's just better places to find better gold there.
I have the same luck fishing, somebody tells me “you’re not going to catch anything there” and like clockwork, boom, catch of the day. Awesome
Great video dude.👌🤘⛏💥
Dude awesome vid I really like scenery super beautiful area, you should hike up stream till you find bed rock and snipe that Creek in another vid, I would love to see that! I bet you would find some chunky stuff!!
If your ever up in Montana. I will personally take you out on Libby Creek and get some good gold. If you look at my channel you can see what kind of gold we have here. Thanks for the video.
@13:00 yeah those "little" pieces of gold. LOOK AT ALL THAT GOLD TO THE RIGHT!! 😳
Only one place in the mountains close to Denver to get a nugget, is .....
Cause, you seem cool and you play guitar. It is Breckenridge.
You know your on the gold when someone shows up and says there isn't any gold there. Your in Colorado dude. There's gold in your front yard, Literally...
theres no gold in that 100 yr old gold trap.. trust me I know... ive dug up about 40% of all this and I will tell you there is no gold there just tailing piles, so stop wasting your time there. lol
great video! 2 nice pickers and good company, cant beat that!!
Yep! He was trying to keep us away . Will see what he says next time..
A clash come looking for gold here in Alamogordo New Mexico I'll take you to the Sacramento mountains we can look there
