Wow mate what a mission! I have been researching these type of powerpacks and bluetti looks best in class by far. The lifepo4 is next level and doesn't look to contain cobalt which the lithium ion does and the cobalt mining is an absolute disaster in the congo. So better product and much friendlier way of sourcing. Ps never seen anyone packraft upriver 😆
Tasmania looks beautiful but you know i find it weird I have never even seen a squirel or even asnake on any videos in that area. I wanted to go to Guatemala to look for gold, they have nothing but snakes down there.
It’s has been a awesome adventure with you. My children and grandchildren love what you are doing. So keep up the good work. We love your videos. We put them up on the big screen so we don’t miss a thing. God Bless you and stay safe happy and healthy. ❤❤❤❤😊
Glad to see you team up with Levi Rob and great result with the gold you found. It just shows how innovations with new equipment make things possible that not long ago would have been impossible.
It always amazes me as technology advances so does the art of prospecting. For that reason there will always be gold to be searched for and discovered.
Love your work Rob, thank you so much for doing what you do. Thank you too for the product review. The Bluetti is exactly what my wife and I need for our camping trips and we are grateful to you for helping us find it.
Ah well thanks amazing! I am honestly blown away by the technology these days before Bluetti I thought if you wanted to recharge a massive battery via solar it took days of straight sunlight. I'm super stoked with mine I hope you guys love yours!
Always love the videos that Rob and Levi make together, y'all are like brothers and the picking at each other reminds me of when I was growing up with a Big brother and one younger brother. Sadly we aren't that close anymore. You boys enjoy each others company and cherish every moment together.
Hi Rob, Another unbelievable entertaining trip by yourself and Levi, I’m finding myself watching more of both of your adventure videos on my phone than I am of stuff on the television they are so well done! Beautiful scenery in the most beautiful state in Aus! I definitely envy you guys, keep up the good work doing what you love I assume, thanks for the escape and opportunity to dream 🙏
I think everyone should have the Bluetti power box for their homes, incase of power cuts. Well done on the gold. The scenery was awesome, so majestic to see.
I have one of those compressors, I use it on an inflatable boat (3,5 meters) with a see through bottom. That charging unit looks very handy. Thanks again for a great video.
Just wow. Glad you got to share in the labour of love with your mate Levi. What an awesome amount of shine. Bluetti gear was a great addition. So glad for you that a company offered up some gear. Belated birthday wishes to you.
I bet as soon as Levi got back into phone service he called you didn't he... I was wondering if you would be in on it 2nd time round... 😁😁😁 I love Rob & Levi adventures!!
@Rob Parsons I was close haha! He did a brilliant job, I was glued to the screen watching it and you did well also, thanks for the awesome content as per usual, always stoked to see both your faces in a vid!
Good to see he took you along for the ride. You two on yer adventures is great to see. Keep up the good work. ...and the bluey, what an awesome bit of gear 👍🏻 good job again, Rob.
Five stars as usual. The quality of your videos getting better and better. So enyoyable joining you on your adventures. That power pack is awesome, can see many uses fot it on my own adventures. Cheers guys.
For a long time now, the second I see 1 of Levi's or your videos I hit like before even watching them. I know they will be an epic adventure. What an amazing way to spend your birthday, exploring the depths of such a magical place and to come home with some nice specimens to boot.
Have you thought about a solar panel charging system? You and Levi are living the dream, and the rest of us are watching you and dreaming. Stay safe out there.
What an epic video mate.... crazy we as viewers are now getting familiar with that insane journey up that river. With Levi's 1st journey ...then this this epic team effort, I reckon I've seen those river obstacles a dozen times. Can't imagine the shear effort and Will power to scale those multiple times in a 4 or 5 day span. Brilliant video as always mate. Well done.👊👏👏
Absolutely awesome Rob! Love the power system n solar panels! I will be checking that out ! Beautiful specimens! Beautiful filming n video again buddy!
Just saw Levi's video adding to your adventure and can't believe how well the different perspectives blend, doubling the fun watching your videos: good mates are hard to find. Good Job! Cheers!
Thanks Rob! Who would have thought I would have been so mesmerised by gold flakes getting sucked up! Thankfully it was downstream at the end of the day!
Hey mate, love the adventures. Quick heads up on battery capacities. They’re usually measured in amp hours because that way it’s easier to compare between units. Measuring based on watt hours doesn’t work between batteries at different voltages. That bluetti unit has a capacity of 24 Ah and your compressor battery is 5Ah. Means you can only hope to charge one from the other 4 and a bit times, not 7. Quoting power specs in watt hours rather than amp hours is a common tactic from shady sellers, unfortunately. These systems are just a neatly packaged battery and inverter/dcdc converter. You can pick up a 100Ah lifepo4 (which is lithium ion, incidentally) for $4-500 on the low end. Couple that with an inverter for $1-200 and a dcdc charger for the same and you’ve got a system with 5 times the capacity for the same money. Much more flexible, too. Easy to add more batteries for more capacity, leave the inverter at home when you don’t need 240v, take a smaller battery to keep the weight down, etc. Have fun!
Rob , I have been sniping for over 45 years , not so much lately , I know how difficult it is when gravel falls back in the hole you just cleaned out , I could see how the ironstone slipped back down in to the crevice , my tip , get a strong magnet and drag it through the crevice , deposit the ironstone on the spot you cleaned before , when finish , stick the magnet to your crevicing tool ,cheers
Great video Rob, I can see being able to use a compressor and weight belt is going to open up a whole new world for you and Levi! the new solar and battery technology just blows me away! and a nice haul of gold as well
Hello. this is the second video of yours I've watched. Great video. But I still think you should use a small dredge with a sluice with it. What do you think?
I absolutely LOVE watching your videos , both you and Tassie boys make awesome videos. I get the gold fever every time I watch them. I live in the U.S and the state I live in New Hampshire does not offer such treasures otherwise I would be out making a weekend of it in the spring and summer months. I collect coins, silver gold Platinum . but I would pay to go gold hunting for a week or two. California has some great gold to find Alaska but they are entirely too far away from N.H so I just watch the videos and dream of finding the gold Thanks for sharing your adventures !!!! Cheers!!!!
Could you make some kind of 'hikible' weight belt with pockets that you can load up with river stones on-site? Or would it just not be as good as lead?
I have seen grown men fill there wetsuits with river stones trying to avoid the battle of carrying in weight belts. The truth is.. its not so bad, its just heavy but its such a good workout for your legs and building strength in them.
@@Rob.Parsons yer I do lot of hiking. I have my roll on me all time in new places. Moving back to tassie soon hope to get into snipping. As I do lot of alluvial prospecting here in nsw. Keep up the great work mate. Love the storytelling of the history more needed..
OMG, you blokes had a haul and a half lugging all that gear down to the river. What an adventure, absolutely fantastic 👍🏼. And how good to see some gold, especially that nice chunk Levi found. Happy Birthday Rob 🎉
Wow Rob you really smashed it good and hard worth all the trek in & out plus good on Bluetti for giving you that power bank and solar panels. That huge specie of Levi's is a chonker too I will definitely be watching out for his next video. Stay safe and take it easy look forward to more great content.
Gday rob....prime solar time to charge is 10am to 3pm...optimum...you will probably need optimum to get yr 4hr charge time...be aware it will just take one gust of wind to topple the panel and guarenteed it will happen 10 mins after you set it up and head off ...so secure it as best you can or leave lying flat

You need a belt with pockets you can fill with stones when you get to the dive spot. Leave the lead weights at home.
Maybe just a couple of bum bags?
Still can’t believe we dragged those belts up there sure glad we did though another awesome trip to add to the memory bank mate 👍🏼
