- In this adventure we head out to Tasmania's remote West Coast to compressor dive the deep pools that lay hidden away in the rainforest. We'll be using battery operated dive compressors to access the rich alluvial gold deposits on the bottom of the streams. Thanks to Bluetti for sending me an portable power station EB55 and Solar Panel PV200 we can recharge the compressor batteries on site, and leave the worry of power behind and focus on getting as much gold as we can.

Wow mate what a mission! I have been researching these type of powerpacks and bluetti looks best in class by far.
The lifepo4 is next level and doesn't look to contain cobalt which the lithium ion does and the cobalt mining is an absolute disaster in the congo. So better product and much friendlier way of sourcing.
Ps never seen anyone packraft upriver 😆
Keep a eye out for those beautiful blue stones too I’ve seen a few around on your vids and other nice gem
Tasmania looks beautiful but you know i find it weird I have never even seen a squirel or even asnake on any videos in that area. I wanted to go to Guatemala to look for gold, they have nothing but snakes down there.
I’ve been wondering the same thing, I have not heard anything about snakes or even mosquitoes
Still can’t believe we dragged those belts up there sure glad we did though another awesome trip to add to the memory bank mate 👍🏼
Gracias for your adventure beautiful pepita's amigo 👍🏽
I am also a blu nemo user and by now I have learned how to breathe underwater correctly and can stay underwater for up to 3 hours on one battery.
Hi Rob, Another unbelievable entertaining trip by yourself and Levi, I’m finding myself watching more of both of your adventure videos on my phone than I am of stuff on the television they are so well done! Beautiful scenery in the most beautiful state in Aus! I definitely envy you guys, keep up the good work doing what you love I assume, thanks for the escape and opportunity to dream 🙏
I’m not sure what I enjoy most about your videos. The scenery, the gold, the story lines? All of it. Great watching.
I bet as soon as Levi got back into phone service he called you didn't he... I was wondering if you would be in on it 2nd time round... 😁😁😁 I love Rob & Levi adventures!!
Well he actually came by my house haha! I am amazed at what he did, especially solo. It was a massive send and he deserved every spec. (and nugget)
@Rob Parsons I was close haha! He did a brilliant job, I was glued to the screen watching it and you did well also, thanks for the awesome content as per usual, always stoked to see both your faces in a vid!
You know he did hay lol... 😎👍
I thought the scenary looked familiar
Good to see he took you along for the ride. You two on yer adventures is great to see. Keep up the good work. ...and the bluey, what an awesome bit of gear 👍🏻 good job again, Rob.
What an amazing way to spend your time. In the most beautiful places on earth, with gold as a bonus.
Thanks for taking us on your incredible journeys
Thank you for showing us the beautiful, inaccessible for most, terrain. Love all the parts, gold scenery and your explorations.
Love your work Rob, thank you so much for doing what you do. Thank you too for the product review. The Bluetti is exactly what my wife and I need for our camping trips and we are grateful to you for helping us find it.
Ah well thanks amazing! I am honestly blown away by the technology these days before Bluetti I thought if you wanted to recharge a massive battery via solar it took days of straight sunlight. I'm super stoked with mine I hope you guys love yours!
Could you make some kind of 'hikible' weight belt with pockets that you can load up with river stones on-site? Or would it just not be as good as lead?
I have seen grown men fill there wetsuits with river stones trying to avoid the battle of carrying in weight belts. The truth is.. its not so bad, its just heavy but its such a good workout for your legs and building strength in them.
Five stars as usual. The quality of your videos getting better and better. So enyoyable joining you on your adventures. That power pack is awesome, can see many uses fot it on my own adventures. Cheers guys.
Fantastic video, Rob and Levi! We always enjoy being a part of your adventures. Thank you so much!
Congratulations on your Sponsor! It's pretty awesome to sponsor something very useful and something that peaks your viewers interest like myself.
Glad to see you team up with Levi Rob and great result with the gold you found. It just shows how innovations with new equipment make things possible that not long ago would have been impossible.
It always amazes me as technology advances so does the art of prospecting. For that reason there will always be gold to be searched for and discovered.
It’s has been a awesome adventure with you. My children and grandchildren love what you are doing. So keep up the good work. We love your videos. We put them up on the big screen so we don’t miss a thing. God Bless you and stay safe happy and healthy. ❤❤❤❤😊
Could send me a link for this power supply please great video thanks
It is possible to dowse for gold on a boat to locate the most concentrated pockets of placer gold. The reverse engineered physics of dowsing with, and how to build, the modern light weight ball bearing dowsing rod is explained in the book, The Art of Dowsing - Separating Science from Superstition ($14.95). You can become a professional dowser by practicing the book's dowsing lessons. I hope dowsing enriches your life and have a safe, healthy, good day.
Absolutely awesome Rob! Love the power system n solar panels! I will be checking that out ! Beautiful specimens! Beautiful filming n video again buddy!
So Rob parsons... the Government is giving you grief coz you are making money finding gold and making tazzie a hot spot for prospectors rather trendy TV real-estate owners...
I have one of those compressors, I use it on an inflatable boat (3,5 meters) with a see through bottom. That charging unit looks very handy. Thanks again for a great video.
They're super fun hey!
My favorite gold adventure channel..liked and subscribed.
Awesome! Thank you!
Hello. this is the second video of yours I've watched. Great video. But I still think you should use a small dredge with a sluice with it. What do you think?
Hey Rob! Thanks once again for producing such inspiring and high-quality content. Have you considered a weight belt that you can fill with sand/pebbles for weights when you arrive at your destinations instead of lugging in lead weights?
Хотличная мысль!!👍🤝
For a long time now, the second I see 1 of Levi's or your videos I hit like before even watching them. I know they will be an epic adventure.
What an amazing way to spend your birthday, exploring the depths of such a magical place and to come home with some nice specimens to boot.
So appreciate the hard work you did to get this video out to us!!! Ty sooo much! 🥰💕
Thanks Linda!
Areet 👍 this video was put in my recommendations which is cool because I didn't know your channel but have been following Tassie boys Levi for years since he began round about the same time as me give or take a year or two. Love these series's and will be cool to watch them from your view 👍❤️💛💚 subscribed anyway for more!
Welcome aboard!
Awesome video Rob that is really cool Levi that you shared you spot with a trusted friend always good to share the adventure.
We’d planned to go in together originally but Rob was caught up with other work so I ran it due to the good weather
@@officialtassieboysprospecting Now I am looking at this bluetti and solar panel bloody looks good.
Yahoooo!!! I’m ready to watch bring it on!! 🤙🏿🤙🏿🤙🏿
Awesome man I hope you enjoy!
Dam why the views so low bro this was awesome keep up the good videos mate👍
Thanks man most of my vids don't do big numbers, just the last one (thylacine) went kinda viral for a week or so. Thanks for watching!
Great videos, long term watcher.
Bush is so think I'd get turned around lucky for the pink ribbons.
I love me some pink ribbons you never know where you'll end up.
@@Rob.Parsons yer I do lot of hiking. I have my roll on me all time in new places. Moving back to tassie soon hope to get into snipping. As I do lot of alluvial prospecting here in nsw.
Keep up the great work mate. Love the storytelling of the history more needed..
Rob’s back! Stoked to watch another epic adventure!
Thanks man!
Happy late birthday bro it’s a wicked river harder to get into than others down there aye what a trip nice pile of shiny awsome vid too goodonya man cheers
Awesome adventure as always . Thanks for sharing, please stay safe everyone 🙏
Have you thought about a solar panel charging system? You and Levi are living the dream, and the rest of us are watching you and dreaming. Stay safe out there.
A Friday Special, woohoo!
Enjoy Terry ;-)
That looks like so much fun! Great episode Rob. Was that an announcement on your fridge door?
Well done mate 👍
In my opinion your film making gets better each time.
Keep up the good work👏
Great adventure thanks for sharing it from Vancouver Island British Columbia
Just saw Levi's video adding to your adventure and can't believe how well the different perspectives blend, doubling the fun watching your videos: good mates are hard to find. Good Job! Cheers!
I love watching this adventure from 2 different perspectives
Awesome adventure! Can't beat a treasure hunt :) Well done!
Hi Rob just caught your channel and wow that's impressive. The amount of gold you got in 2 hrs I've been studying on geology here in UT. And our Strems are nothing like yours WOW.,. THANKS FOR SHARING CAN'T WAIT FOR YOUR NEXT VIDEO BIRDIE/....
absolutely awesome... love the different perspective from levi.. You guys rock.. Rob you need new pants at 34.00.. :)
Thanks great content!!! As always … Happy Birthday 🥳 and Congratulations? Noticed fridge in background 🤔🇦🇺
What an epic video mate.... crazy we as viewers are now getting familiar with that insane journey up that river.
With Levi's 1st journey ...then this this epic team effort, I reckon I've seen those river obstacles a dozen times. Can't imagine the shear effort and Will power to scale those multiple times in a 4 or 5 day span.
Brilliant video as always mate. Well done.👊👏👏
Great video Rob, I can see being able to use a compressor and weight belt is going to open up a whole new world for you and Levi! the new solar and battery technology just blows me away! and a nice haul of gold as well
rayos amigo es impresionante hermoso ,,,saludos desde Colombia
Using a 'magnetic wand' would make crevasse collecting a lot faster.
'Magnetic'?
A/C flux with a DC bias.
Fantastic. You guys can now rework so many of your previous rivers. All the deep pools you and maybe nobody has ever worked. Next year I will pass you driving a BMW 😂🤣😂
For the short documentarys you n levi make you should be awarded a youtube award for excellence the content you guys create is amazing there is nothing better to see as a prospector than a creek that can turn it on and suffer bottle's getting a work out grate job,, you guys keep the dream so fresh for me i love it....
There are plenty of rocks of all sizes at the river. Why carry weights into the wild? Just make up a belt with large pockets and fill them with rocks at the destination.
You guys basically made your hobbies pay for itself... VERY few people can say that... go e camping making money
Hey rob i have watched you for 3 years now and love your content. im a beginner in prospecting , a couple years in. im really curious how you do your homework and find the areas you work. old newspapers, etc??? im in WA state USA and im really wanting to start sniping.. i would appreciate a idea of how u located your areas. thanks rob
Well made videos and a lot of work to adit I love to dredge for gold here in Indiana USA not much gold here but I have fun
Your vids are just excellent and absorbing to watch . Gritty no nonsense stuff . Thanks Jonny Shropshire UK
Omg I feel stupid. I found a gold line in quartz as a kid and it became my favorite rock.
No wonder it disappeared when I moved.
That and my spear head that I found.
Unbelievable video! I wish there was gold like that close to home. What is the mineral you are calling Auzy?
I can't wait for your expedition to King William Island! Finding Franklin's Tomb
Great videos I really enjoy the content , the cinematography and the quality editing. One suggestion, instead of carrying heavy weight belts in, why not adapt a belt to incorporate pockets and fill them with river stones?
00:46 Why would you carry a weight belt all that distance? I used to dive remote rivers and lakes, a dive bag filled with rocks works hist fine...and you don't have to carry the rocks.
Great video and adventure. Btw. why don't you and Levi not cross link your channels to make it easier for us to find? I stumbled across yours by youtube suggestions i guess do to that i'm subscribed to levi's channel.
On 27.3 maybe you said there's a nice chunky piece and you was taking it home but if you watch carefully you tried to suck it up but it fell out I guess you didn't see it but it's clear on your video! Lol
Latic acid…sore muscles can be relieved by using apple cider vinegar. In an ideal situation, a cup of vinegar to a tub of hot water, soaking for a half hour works wonders. Don’t know how it works at a campsite, but it might help to have a liter on hand to massage full strength on the sore areas.
This may be a dumb idea, but ditch the compressor. Attach a long flexible hose to your snorkel. Attach a float to the above water end of the pipe and just have a really long snorkel. It seems dumb, but would mean a whole lot less gear and the flexible hose would mean moving about would not be an issue. If there is strong current, a bit of rope to the float from the bank will hold the flexi pipe in position.
I Really do Not get it. You guys get to a spot that looks gorgeous, yet you travel Miles and Miles and Miles upstream, passing over what "Seems" like to me some beautiful grounds to get to "somewhere". lol
I don't suppose that Tasmania allows suction dredges. If they do, I can only imagine how much gold you could get from that river in a week.
What an epic birthday trip! You're a bloody legend Rob, keep the epic content comin mate. Happy birthday brother 💙🤘
Instead of carrying that bag by hand you could have worn it on the front like a backpack, then you put the actual backpack on after that and the straps will hold it in place, it also works like a counterbalance. It's a trick we used in the military sometimes.
Hi Rob, I think you are on the wrong tack as all the nuggets are well-rounded, which means the source is further upstream and it is the source that you need to find. check the wear on your nuggets and give them a mark out of 10 as to the degree of rounding, then proceed to a higher site and check again until you reach the source and it's Bonanza time.
Most people don’t realize the mountains of rock and gravel that must be moved and processed to produce 1 ounce of refined gold. The energy costs are also staggering!
Would be interesting to see a video about your research process. What kinds of info gives you the confidence to venture km out into the wild where nobody has been before? It'd be super interesting to learn what kind of info or geo features you look for on maps or in books that helps you identify high-return areas.
Wow guys fantastic efforts what a mission battery set up is awesome. Keep up good work love video keep them coming.
Rob your new gear for charging up your phones and wotnot is super cool. The Solar Panel is going be so handy..folds out like the ones on space crafts. You and Levi got a nice haul of gold. Your lot of gold adding to 41 grams is awesome man!!!...Pete from Devonport...
One or two of those solar chargers would be good for those of us who don't know how to hook up electric stuff. I could see one in my school bus camper I'm building.
Just come across this channel ... just one question after all that walking how do you remember where your car is ?
Geology has got things mostly wrong imho, there seems to be a biological component to geology that has either been ignored or hidden. This world is not what it seems.
Love your work Rob, thanks for taking the time to share it
Those little submersible generators can run constantly in those little rapids check them out maybe enough juice to power the compressor your only 10 meters
Well what a way to spend your birthday! I think we have the same day but a few years different! Well maybe a lot of years! Great Video!
I often see Safires when you are scratching away at crevices or blowing out with your hands I have seen a couple of them in this video in your deep dive I saw about 6 that were big and cheesy
When you run a lithium battery down below 10%, you damage it permanently.
Ive been watching your videos non stop rob.. love how you have a passion for sniping and admire nature the way you do
That was awesome, thanks for sharing. ✌️ from Melbourne
Always look forward to you videos Rob. Great result too.
Goat lotion and Cornhusk hand cream are both excellent to use on your hands when they are very sore that's is what we use when we are working with concrete.
HOW MUCH $$ IS 41g worth at current market price ?
are there a type of weight belt u can add or fill up with rocks at location. might save ur backs?
I have no idea how people can sit through that music... Great content otherwise, though.
Wow congratulations brothers very good job 👏 👍 👌
축하해요 멋진 골드 스나이핑영상 잘 봤습니다 😊 저도 골드스나이핑을 합니다
There's another little device drop in creek the little blade spins n charges size of a big can of porknbeans
Great adventure and film. Just wanted to be there. Great work guys!
This is my new found passion im building up a sniping kit right now the hardest piece is going to be a wetsuit for a guy my size

Another enjoyable video thankyou and happy birthday 🎂🎂🎂
Levi's a good man for sharing his hot spots with ya mate, he worked hard to scoping that one out and found a good bag of candy in the process hey
We’d planned to go in together originally but he was caught up with other work. I couldn’t wait with the window of weather so I took it 👍🏼
I started watching Levi about a year ago I truly like both of your videos
Do you have a magnet as part of your water gear? Maybe that could help clear some of the iron stone away.
Have you thought about taking an extra raft as a mule to haul all of your gear, rather than making 2 trips up the river?
