Very little flour gold here, I believe it’s because it’s a narrow canyon with steep sides most the fine gold has blown through. Thank you very much for watching

Yes we sell to proper gold buyers. I have no contact at this time because my guy shut down recently but yes the gold areas usually have a reputable business to sell your gold to. Don’t sell it to a jewelry store or pawn shop!!

also, while the blue mat looks like it's catching the coarser gold, i see no fine gold in the traps. should we conclude they don't catch fine gold?or am I wrong? ( I'm talking about 50 down to 400 mesh)

JP’s Canadian Adventure's & Review's hey there, I built the black shaker feeder hopper part with the nugget trap, the trommel underneath is a “gold claimer concentrator” brand out of Minnesota. Building the shaker was about 200 hours all in, everything but the motor, weight and springs were hand made, I know it’s not the prettiest I really focused on Wham! Bam and then get it in the field and start using it, it’s washed 400 yards or more now.

Thanks, I believe the mat in the lower part of the sluice is regular dream mat, it’s the medium of the 3 sizes and the top is the mini stuff, seriously 99 percent of heavies stay in the mini mat. It’s literally a dream to use, I think the best part is the mats just lift out when you’re done, there is no clamps and screens and carpets or moss it’s just so fast and pleasant lol. Hey Andy, another great video. You might consider trying a commercial dream mat in the sluice under the trommel to increase you recovery rate. Paul carries at Adventures in Gold Prospecting Carries them and they’re relatively cheap with a with a quick ROI if you’re increasing recovery, especially on fines.

greedy gringo prospecting my whole time up here I’ve been waiting to find gold with quartz attached, and I never have ever seen any specimen style pieces like that. There’s tons of quartz here but it seems like the gold has been moved a good distance, at least 5-6 miles and the quartz is broken away, the gold is pretty well rounded and warn. It’s kind of crazy, to this day they can only speculate where the cold comes from around here, no one has ever found the source. 😝
@@ANDYTHRAXX your way down in the valley yes could be hillside gold washing down looks steep on the hills or under the ground washing out this is possible covering up each time it washes out from the rain /melting snow with several feet of dirt /rocks and no minelab detector can go real deep
We get more rain than any other weather here, rain is the toughest to work in I think, the ground gets so sloppy. Snow is tough too but we don’t get the deep seasonal snow most other places do. It is so much fun the day just flys by🤗
I think in my past life I was a gold miner ...because everytime i watch these videos my heart skips each time I see gold and I get this rush like if I'm the one who struck it rich Lol...times like these I need that gold nobody is working wow I wish I was them.

Gerard Vriend we did, at several interval, yet there is a scene of the trommel running and you see what looks like a 3-4 gram nugget get thrown into the tailings, we looked and looked but never found anything 😀 I lose sleep over this lol
ANDYTHRAXX MINING i can imagine that. I found 13 grams panning last year. 3/4 grams is a lot! Maybe a metal detector? Like in Australia. I talked with a guy that found a 10 gramer in his talings

We get more rain than any other weather here, rain is the toughest to work in I think, the ground gets so sloppy. Snow is tough too but we don’t get the deep seasonal snow most other places do.

Did you check the tailings?
Gerard Vriend we did, at several interval, yet there is a scene of the trommel running and you see what looks like a 3-4 gram nugget get thrown into the tailings, we looked and looked but never found anything 😀 I lose sleep over this lol
ANDYTHRAXX MINING i can imagine that. I found 13 grams panning last year. 3/4 grams is a lot! Maybe a metal detector? Like in Australia. I talked with a guy that found a 10 gramer in his talings

This project has cost peanuts to run, the acquisition of the equipment is the biggest cost. Once on site about $45.00 a day full operating costs.
