Ok so half way through the video. He did the control incorrectly by putting the women in a frame of analysis when it comes to the neck size. It could’ve skewed the results. Should’ve asked them which picture they’d choose before asking them any questions about neck size
yeah i also thought similar. the thing is, a lot of what we find attractive is unconscious. thinking they'd be able to consciously know what they find attractive and why makes no sense. most people don't know why they feel the way they do about anything.
He should have also made a #4 with an even wider neck, and I strongly suspect he'd have gotten more #3 votes, because it wouldn't have been framed as being freakishly big.
@@cedricol yeah imagine a bunch of guys being asked what breast size they liked best and they were shown three options. most guys would pick the one in the middle too, just because it doesn't seem too small or too big. when given a multiple choice, people tend to think the most attractive option is the average.
Also the fact it wasn't anonymous. You wouldn't want to go on record saying that neck size doesn't mean anything and then choose the bigger neck option right afterwards, you'd obviously look hypocritical.
Actually had a football coach that said women like big necks. I think he was mostly trying to get us to build neck muscle to help prevent injury but hey apparently he wasn't lying either.
I started neck training a couple months back and it pretty much fixed my posture, made breathing easier, and my voice felt deeper (this is probably due to the posture). My upper back has stopped hurting too. Neck training/stretching is definitely great.
Same. Just for fun I've been doing neck planks for 15 seconds 3 times a week and absolutely feel the posture difference. Going to mix in a few different exercises, but the neck training is here to stay
Traps are easy to grow. Heavy farmers carries combined with heavy deadlifts with a shrug at peak contraction. Not to mention isometric holds @ peak contraction on last sets of both deadlifts and farmers carries. Trapezius muscles are truly the easiest muscles to grow on the whole human body.
Your summary about the definition of the muscles on the neck at the end was what I was thinking about when you gave the women's comparison, the neck was wider, but you didn't add the definition and this is what adds the extra masculine look. Interesting video! Personally I think exercising the neck is underestimated, especially in people with genetics like yours (mine too ;) ), which is a slightly longer neck that is not muscular...another 100 days and it will be 100% on point, so keep it up!
Great results, looks good! Many people dont realize how fast the neck can grow because there is so much blood flowing through it, you can have noticable gains in a month or 2
For some folks posture is a big factor too. Test it out in the mirror. Chin up and back, Chin up and forward, etc etc. Just being positioned properly can help a ton. Even if you have a huge neck, if you're posture is poor, it will look skinny/extended.
Nice work! It’s important to have a strong neck. People don’t realize how easy it is to injure but that dramatically decreases with a strong neck. And looks great 👌🏻
Yeah, while sitting on a chair or swimming or while walking, dang - just think about a small neck, like people are just dying all around by getting up in the morning.
You should do a video to show the results of eating two or three large carrots per day for 100 days. Eating a lot of carrots daily for a long period of time actually tints your skin orange. It would be really cool to see the effect this had on you as a paler guy. I think it would be a really cool and unique video. And would be helpful as it’s a safe way to change your tan and paleness is a big source of insecurity for a lot of guys.
Can any football players relate? I went from a 15" to a 17" neck after playing 1 season of tackle football as a defensive lineman without any isolated neck training. The constant hitting, tackling, and falling made for a strong neck as a side effect.
Would love to see forearms! I’ve been workin it out these past 3-4 months and it’s not the incredible lustful level but definitely have had some improvements. Would be cool to see that from you as I feel neck/back and forearms are the eye Candy for women 👀 And I’ve also thought about neck training as well since this weight loss I’ve undergone has given me some definition for the first time. Just probably won’t do it at the gym in public 😂😂
Take the neck pill bros. It really makes all the difference. Especially if you are a tall already built dude. Don't skimp on neck day. At least target a 16 inch neck. When you actually start doing it, you will find the same thing he did. It grows quick, it looks great and way more maculine.
If you suffer from migraines or bruxism, flexo extensions will help you a lot to prevent the pain, but if you´re in the middle of an acute pain, don't even try. And yes, having a strong neck will save you lots and lots of pain, especially if you pass much time using a laptop.
Just be careful training your neck everyone, it is very easy to tear a neck ligament while doing these kind of exercises. The neck is not a big muscle you can just train to failure like your bicep without consequences.
During the first measurements, his neck was normal, but on the final measurement, he deliberately pushed his head backward to make his neck appear bigger. You can see how he gets a double chin from doing this. His neck could possibly have gotten a little thicker, but definitely not one and a half inches.

Have you noticed any difference in your sleep quality? Every time I've considered neck training, I talk myself out of it when I think about the increased likelihood of obstructing breathing when sleeping.
In case you track your sleep, have you noticed any change? The size of the neck can have an impact (it's negative) but I wonder if a stronger neck could help the airways at night
