Awesome job on those challenges! I'm most impressed by your race with the "knarr" with its hapless crew member obviously in fear of his life with the approach of the Viking raider. Thanks so much for inviting me to participate -- I enjoyed the chat very much!
I love Magnus way of training and thinking about food. I used his app for a while and in a lot of exercises, he would use things like a gallon of milk or his sofa. It helped me a lot in the pandemic, working out from home.
yeah 30 days is more like the warm up to getting your body used too the movements, more-so than seeing if you could accomplish something physically demanding like these test inside of 30 days. i think they should do it again in 6 months and see the improvements and then again in another 6 months after the first too see how much improvement is made from there as well.
The ship looks to be just launching, so it would be slower-probably less than a mile or two an hour. Also, why did you divide by 12? Wouldn’t the ships sail at night as well?
He was in berserker mode when he did those crazy things in raid scene, He was Ulfhednar and those guys were famous being one of the most dangerous warriors, they had wolf's characteristics even the way he moves in village he does like angry wolf searching for another pray
I have to say, you did amazingly on all 3 especially given has been done over only 30 days, phenomenal! The sticking to the diet and training and that axe climb (which i would say is harder than if you had an actual axe) was amazing- little bit questionable with the spear throw that didn't really hit the bag anything like you would want from a spear hahaha Not every 30 day challenge needs to have a majority win, I think it might have been quite nice to say it wasn't a success and give more time to do it, really entertaining video as always! (tiny bit of a cliche "youtuber", I still completed over 50% of the challenges). Hope this was constructive and doesn't knock such a great channel! Can't wait for the next!
I love the northman so much. I love how it ignores the current trend of Hollywood making everything woke, in favor of a historically and mythologically accurate depiction of the tale of Amleth, and the Vikings. And the fight scenes and cinematography are spectacular too, man. Such a good movie.
Ok...that was in unusual. Normally your content is super well researched, but I feel like this time the challenges were somehow "off". For any moderately skilled climber this wall would have been easily doable without the "axe" and you have to assume someone attempting to climb a wall in an active battle Situation would be skilled, right? This video reminds me of a situation where a couple body builders were trying to climb a route and struggling really hard. They were out climbed minutes later by a slender 12 year old. How about a climbing/bouldering challenge next? I've a feeling, it might be pretty hard for you

As a Swede I can confirm that we still do the rituals before gaming with the boys.
as a norwegian i can confirm as well :P
LoL 🤣
What is it? A kinda of psych up or is it for the other team too?

I enjoyed the chat as well. Thanks so much for sharing your knowledge of the Norse Sagas with us!
Didn’t expect to see one of my favorite booktubers on this channel! What a surprise!

Not even peanut butter powder? 😶 Do you even PB Pro, bro?
Excellent. What an ideal transition into some CLIMBING CONTENT. Please? 🙏
Awesome video guys! I love the content y’all have been consistently putting out. Now I need to go watch The Northman 🤟
Don’t it’s pants 😂
Its a phenomenal movie

Great job dude, Loved this video!
It would be interesting to see this played out over 6 months. I don't think 30 days is enough
Agreed, or even a year.

Cam rinsing Brendan the whole time they’re doing the swim is so so funny
Dropping a like purely for “I could be Michael Phelps on a cocktail of cocaine and trend and I’m probably not catching that ship” 😂
It’s tren, short for an anabolic steroid called trenbolone
The ship looks to be just launching, so it would be slower-probably less than a mile or two an hour. Also, why did you divide by 12? Wouldn’t the ships sail at night as well?
💯
We looked into that, and everything we found suggested the Knarr would have docked at night. But we had the same thought as well.

Björnúlfr means "bear-wolf" he was considered a hybrid of the 2 with his hamrammr.
Ayy we love Dr Chase
"Train and diet like the northman" * drinks a vegan protein powder and almond drink shake *
Hahahaha
Bro that count down advertisement has me laughing so hard for some reason.
Where can I find the workout and nutrients guide???
Sunflower butter, almond ,cashew butter, higher calcium, less fat.
The sad face on the peanut butter was genius.
Peanut butter is shit food. Don't be stupid. You've been lied to.
The axe climb probably could have just used one of those peg climbing walls. I think you made it harder than it needed to be
Main issue: not having a doctor on hot dial that can inject you with the perfect combination of roids :)
underrated comment

People mad that you didn't take gear, but real one know Vikings never took gear!
And they never looked like that
Is anyone else impressed by his swimming speed - sheesh!
Ice climbers watching the climbing axe be like "am I a joke to you!"
Not sure if this was already stated but it would be 75 miles every 24 hours
Couldn't be me in that water.
No way I tried to skip the ad then saw too slow😂 I just watch it all at that point and like the vid😂

lol the peanut butter!! 😄
Tbf it appears the ship Amleth swam toward was anchored
The storytelling is much better in this video than your others. Still think it could be sub 10 mins but better pacing nonetheless
way to be complimentary and a douche simultaneously

Not big enough!

Wow that's a big jar of peanut butter 🥜😋
What is the App???
6:22 is the guy on the right furiously breathing out of his nose? I don't swim. That looks insane.
He is. He likely only breathes in/out every few stokes but that's what breathing out underwater looks like lol
Does the app come with injectable anabolics
It so weird, he is obviously on steroids. Sucks that hollywood can’t just be honest. Selling it as an app is even worse
Only if you get the premium version.

What's wrong with peanut butter? The natural stuff?
Proverbs 21:2
Every way of a man is right in his own eyes: but the LORD pondereth the hearts.
I think your axe climb would have been harder than using a real axe so there’s a kudos there..
TRT
I’m sure Vikings was nothing like that movie
Inexcusable that you didn't wear eye protection while catching broomsticks. Be careful!
Just use an ice tool
Why only 12 hours for a ship to travel, it's not like a ship pulls over at night unless its hugging the coast, just saying
No peanut butter? Why?
