The lead singer Paul Rodgers was in Free, “Alright now, baby it’s a alright now”. Bad Company ruled the charts back in the day. Keep exploring them, it’s all rocknroll to me… 🎸
You beat me to it, always one of my favorites. On a different note, Brad if you want to see that "Rock & Rock party", watch the video for Metallica "Whiskey in the Jar", now that's a rock and roll party.
"The music so loud, you can hear the sound coming from the sky, tearin up the ground" reminds me of The Hitchhikers Guide To The Galaxy. I wonder if one was influenced by the other, or if it's just coincidence
Oh oh YES! You keep hitin the ones I love without even asking. I know Lex will dig every B.C song that comes up. This is their latter stuff. After this Roger joined up with Jimmy Page to form The Firm. They generated some really good tunes also.
This group was one of our favorites to get stoned and listen to. In the dark with just a black light watching the traces. Lol. We were grown so it was ok.
My favorite Bad Co. Song....summer 1980.....playing thus on way to summer basketball camp....I was about to be a senior in HS in Chicago.....Lex was really feeling it
Waco, Texas with 3 of my greatest friends, new car had a cassette player and my friend ran into the music store and bought this for me. This song was blasting and we were young, and felt so good. Thank y'all again for bringing great music?
Paul Rodger's (vocalist) was also in a supergroup "The Firm",... Paul Rodgers, guitarist Jimmy Page, drummer Chris Slade, and bass player Tony Franklin. They have some great songs...cover's as well. "Satisfaction Guaranteed",..."Radioactive" & "Midnight Moonlight Lady" come to mind...
Paul Rogers took Freddy Mercury’s place in Queen after Freddy’s passing for a while. Although Paul and Freddy have different voices, Paul’s voice worked great with Queen’s music.
This came out when I was in junior high and my sister bought the 45 RPM single and played it constantly. And you really noticed it Lex, that was one of the first albums in rock to use so-called syn drums, short for synthesizer drums. It was regular drums but he would have a couple extra toms that you hit and it triggers a synthesizer sound. Also, this music was played sometimes at parties where there were lots of women and lots of drinking and lots of fights. So don't let the basic feel of it fool you.
Nice choice, they were always fantastic when I saw them, criminally underrated band and Paul Rodgers is one of the best lead singers of all time, whether in front of Free, Bad Company, The Firm or even giving Queen a hand, Paul always brought the best he could to whatever project he was working on. For more from him try Ready for Love, the Live version from Hard rock Live about 15 years ago was one of the best things I ever saw/heard them do, amazing g rock jam ending that gives me chills every time I hear it. Enjoy! 🎸 P.S. Also checkout Paul's Muddy Waters blues project, he has a amazing array of guitarists on it, each doing a song or 2 and he had Neil Schon from Journey in his house band. Try I just Want to Make Love to You with Jeff Beck on scorching lead guitar.
Definitely not underrated....just the new generation is brainwashed with all the main stream garbage and dont even know good music exists. Thats prolly why i enjoy these reactions lol...to see people hearing great music for the first time
Omg 3 times over the years and you never the greatest voice in rock. Great pick guys love it...I think I need you two one day I'm in Vegas where you guy's at?
Hey guys what's up! Greetings from South Florida! Bad Company rocks! This song sounded so ahead of its time when it first came out. You guys rock! God bless you! Peace!
Lex has a t-shirt with 'journey tour 81'. if i recall, that was the escape tour that I actually went to at the Cow Palace in San Francisco. Was great. I was 14-15 years old, really awesome. I think Loverboy may have opened for them, but not entirely sure.
Love this song, takes me back to my 20s. Everybody has given y'all a few songs to react to, so I'll give you another one that hasn't been listed. Try out Electricland, also from Bad Co., from their 80s album 10 from 6.
This most iconic guitar solo of all Bad Company solos was actually played by Paul Rodgers. More accurately is a guitar synthesizer. He also wrote & played the most iconic guitar solo of the super group The Firm featuring the great Jimmy Page. That's Rodgers playing the freaky riff & solo on the Firm's hit single Radio Active.
I think Brad listen and digest the music .. he takes it and taste it .. but Lexi feels it and experiences the vibe and the meal in its entirety.. fill up her musical soul .. ❤️ love it .. I do both .. I feel the music then I interpret it later and dissect every aspect I can find ..
she brings me love, simple man, wild fire woman, good lovin gone bad, ready for love and the bonus track on straight shooter deluxe release, see the sunlight. burnin sky is cool too, a little different from m ost of their songs
No Doubt about it, BAD COMPANY WAS THE $HIT back when Rock Music Ruled the World 🌍...my all-time favorite song they sang was/still is just magical!! Please react to Bad Company's song: THE WAY THAT I CHOOSE 🎶🎶🎶🎶
I'm waiting for some guitar effects pedal manufacturer, who's also a subscriber, to release the latest model effects pedal.....could call it "The Lex".😂😂😂❤❤❤
lots of songs from this group. I wore out this 8 track or Desolation Angels full of good songs. Gone. Gone Gone, Crazy Circles, Evil Wind, OH Atlanta. I think you guys would like some of the other singer's too like Holy Water and If You Needed Somebody.
The lead singer Paul Rodgers was in Free, “Alright now, baby it’s a alright now”. Bad Company ruled the charts back in the day. Keep exploring them, it’s all rocknroll to me… 🎸
His work with the firm was also great
He was also the lead singer for Queen for awhile after Freddy passed. He still rocks today.
@@robertmillar8246 I did not know that, more research to do!
Paul Rodger's voice is legendary. Check out "Silver, Blue & Gold" by Bad Company.
forgot about that one, great song!
You beat me to it, always one of my favorites. On a different note, Brad if you want to see that "Rock & Rock party", watch the video for Metallica "Whiskey in the Jar", now that's a rock and roll party.
that is one of my favorite songs ever!
Absolutely, love that song!! Excellent request 💛💛💛🎶🎶🎶🎵🎵🎵💕💕💕
Exactamundo his 🗣
Brad & Lex, you'll love their "Can't Get Enough" and "Movin' On"!!! Paul Rodgers with the great vocals!
Back when this song came out I thought it was the coolest.
I still dig it all these years later. So much fun
The band I grew up with. Paul Rodgers has one of the best voices ever!
Agreed!
Yes sir! For straight and unadulterated Rock & Roll imo, he's "The" voice for R&R.
That is under, Robert Plant, and Mic Jones
@@robertwilson5058 Nope! Lol
@@mortisnoctu Lol, my bad, that should be Lou Grams. But merely imho.
Paul Rodgers is the defintion of rock and roll soul. His voice is as smooth as butter.
In my opinion one of Bad Company's best songs.
This is an absolute ALL TIME favorite of mine. Completely awesome song in every way.
lex absorbs the music. Brad interprets the music. Making a good reaction channel
I love how much Lex gets into the music! Bad Co. is awesome!
Brad hears music, Lex feels music!
That great singer Paul Rodgers has an English accent, but is a legend. Even fronted the group Queen for a while when Freddie Mercury died.
Still, my favorite song by Bad Company is "Silver, Blue and Gold."
That's a good one.
Early in the morning is my favorite.
"The music so loud, you can hear the sound coming from the sky, tearin up the ground" reminds me of The Hitchhikers Guide To The Galaxy. I wonder if one was influenced by the other, or if it's just coincidence

Saw the Firm in Austin on their first tour. What great concert.
Every time a Bad Company request comes up I’m all over “Rock Steady”. Never gets any love.
Paul Rodgers had perfect pitch and did almost all of his studio recordings in one take.
This group was one of our favorites to get stoned and listen to. In the dark with just a black light watching the traces. Lol. We were grown so it was ok.
My favorite Bad Co. Song....summer 1980.....playing thus on way to summer basketball camp....I was about to be a senior in HS in Chicago.....Lex was really feeling it
So many great songs by these musicians.
Waco, Texas with 3 of my greatest friends, new car had a cassette player and my friend ran into the music store and bought this for me. This song was blasting and we were young, and felt so good. Thank y'all again for bringing great music?
It's bloody criminal that this awesome band isn't in yhe RnR HOF
Criminal...

LOL... I can still remember going to the skating rink and this song coming on! Those were the days!
Movin on
Ah...lazy hazy summer day memories at the local pool! This song was ALWAYS on rotation. 🔥
Wishing Well is a song that Paul sang so well with both Free and Bad Company.
Paul Rogers took Freddy Mercury’s place in Queen after Freddy’s passing for a while. Although Paul and Freddy have different voices, Paul’s voice worked great with Queen’s music.

''Ride the wave''......a perfect description Lex! I would never have thought of it that way! I remember this song back in the day!
One of the greatest rock n roll lead singers of all time.
Hey guys what's up! Greetings from South Florida! Bad Company rocks! This song sounded so ahead of its time when it first came out. You guys rock! God bless you! Peace!

I was a 13yo kid then in the CLE.
Bad Company was the first rock concert I ever seen, it was the tour of this album (1979) in Vegas. Great show.
Bad company was no joke y’all
This was a great album.
You two are so adorable when listening to music. He’s got an intense seriousness and she’s just all about fun! ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
One of the party groups we heard in the 70's. Blasting & living our youth with wild abandon. Still enjoy this at age 65.
Best voice in blues rock 🔥👍
The lead singer Paul Rodgers was in three bands free , Bad Company and the firm check them all out! They are great
Paul Rodger’s a legend.. easily in my top 5 singers of all time 🔥

Bad Company - Ready for Love
🎸🤘
That is probably their best song.
Agree!!!
Paul Rodgers was born in the town of where I live. Legend
I think y'all should enjoy all the music I grew up on, y'all are great I like the way y'all react to all music.
One of the most tasteful electric drum sounds from back when artists were tempted to overuse something new, like when synth keyboards were unleashed.
Paul Rodgers has a great voice. Check out Shooting Star and Feel Like Makin’ Love also.
Those laser sounds were syndrums. Real popular in 1979. Shalamar 2nd Time Around and Ring My Bell used them for a main hook of the song
Roller rink staple back in the day!
I bought this album when it came out I was 14. I still have it and still play it, the whole LP is great.
Love this song! Bad Company rocks!
You must check out the Kinks' 'A Rock and Roll Fantasy', two distinct, great bands and songs! ✌😘🎶🎸🎵

Summer of 1979, riding the Himalaya on the boardwalk in Ocean City, Maryland. This song played over and over that summer
Bad Company goes Disco, doot doot, doot doot doo.... :-O
Bad Company there is nothing left to say. Fantastic. Checkout Live for the Music, and The albums Bad Co, Straight Shooter, Run with the Pack.
"Live for the music" from Bad Co is a guaranteed like. Bet you 10 bucks!
Bad company. Paul Rogers sang with free and had a stint in Queen. Seagull you fly. Check out the first album
