Nice job brother! You aren't scared to take on any mechanical project. Proud of you! It's that get it done mentality that's going to take you to the top!! Can't wait to see more on the HMMWV.
Were you ever a Mechanic in an official capacity in the past....cuz, I gotta say, as one...that was a MAJOR Job! One that even shops would skip a beat before they agreed to take it in. Kudos man, I hope BMW got their sheet together on the new part...cuz that was way to short of a lifespan on the original!!
My X5 40D is having a new front diff fitted at 28000 miles. The part is on backorder with no known date. I may be waiting weeks but fortunately still under warranty.
Great video, I’m about to do the same on my 2017 X5 35i, I know the set up will be slightly different but the video has inspired me to go ahead. Was the differential oem or did you go with an upgrade?
Amazing job man! Also with the video, my mechanic has to change it from my car next week and he told me it looked really complicated, so it will be super useful. Do you remember how much fluid did you use? The whole 2 bottles? Thanks!
Thanks for the video. My front diff started leaking today. Made it back to NC from CT just in time. What is part number of axle shaft seal you broke? Could you have used an engine support bar instead of the cherry picker? Did you use a Bentley manual for directions or just wing it?
Great job brother as always and congrats on saving the $4k! I'd be interested in knowing the artist and song title you used from Epidemic Sound. Thanks and all the best!

Lengthy time up lucky! That was awful
@@SplitBuilds BMW have just given me a delivery date of Christmas Eve.
Bro, I’m happy that have worked out well for you 👍
100% you need new shoes on that BMW! Great job! You're fearless. 😊
Thanks brother

Doing the same thing and can’t find the plastic axle cover. Where do you find it?
I didn’t. It’s part of the axle… you would have to replace the whole axle. It’s honestly not needed.
Humvee?
🤣

Probiotic and big big man are the 2 songs on the video
How many days / hours total do you have invested from start to finish?
Nice! What is new on the latest Humvee?
Trying to get it started!!
Awesomeness!!!
