T-25 Torx bit with screwdriver
T-40 Torx with ratchet driver (included in Jeep kit)
10mm socket with extension.
Wire strippers/crimpers
Tape
Zip Ties (black will look better)

We are two career professionals who love to travel. When possible, we like to take our four rescue dogs with us. They all came from the local shelter, and they are the best dogs. Three of them are terriers (pitbulls) that we call house hippos. The fourth dog is a German Shepherd mix. He is our senior dog (turns 13 this year) and is a furry potato.

We also love to explore our home state of Indiana.

Took 3 hours start to finish! I tapped into the same two fuses and routed the same in my 2020 Wrangler JL. I'm not quite sure yet about the back camera. I currently have it mounted on the back window although that means I need to disconnect it when I take the top off. I thought about attaching it to the roll cage but all I see is the interior of my jeep and the big spare tire 🙂 Thanks again for the excellent video!

Got my cam installed, I really like the upgraded parking sensor, any movement infont of or near the JT, it starts recording.... I think this is one of the best cameras on the market, but might be my last RexingUSA purchases, I hope you never have to reach out to their customer service..... its the absolutely worse experience I have ever had with any company.... they might as well not exist. Thanks again for the video !

Nice work. And good wiring suggestions. I ran a front-view Vantrue similarly, but did not know you could go straight to the back on the underside of the sport bar. Nice to know if I add a back cam. Is that the "Hydro Blue" on your rig? Looks great.

Hello how are you? I wanted to know if you didn't have any electrical problems after your installation, I want to do the same on my Jeep.
Thanks for the GREAT video. I just purchased the Rexing also, but I chose the VP1-MAX . It has the 4K front but a 2K rear . The only real cosmetic difference is the rear camera looks like a mini version of the front, so that might change my rear mounting position a little from yours.... DO YOU RECALL what amp fuses the Hardwire Kit came with ? Did you order the "SMART" or the "INTELLIGENT" version of the hardwire kit(I'm guessing the standard "smart" version) ? You showed a blue 15 amp from the original Rexing harness but then added yellow 20 amp fuses to the new MICRO2 adapters.... why did you choose to do ths ??? The oem intelligent harness I purchased from rexing has the grey smoke colored 2 amp fuses, so I was wondering what the differences were... I did purchase the "Intelligent" hardwire kit because it is required for the premium parking sensor... maybe that is the difference. I've contacted Rexing to verify, waiting for a response....Thoughts ??
That wasn't a blue fuse in the Rexing adapter. It was just the adapter, which didn’t fit my Jeep. I used the same amp rated fuses in the new adapter harness as what came with my camera. I imagine the difference in fuse ratings between our kits is exactly for the reason you said.
I installed a dash cam in my 22 Jeep Wrangler and the fuses were causing my battery to drain. I had my acc plugged into f52 which is the cig lighter and then the always on on f43 which is the rear cargo power charger. My battery light keeps turning on and didn’t realize it was the camera causing it so i took it to the dealership and they unplugged it and haven’t had that problem since. Now i can’t figure out what fuse to use 😅
Do you not have the OEM auxiliary switches?
Stupid question - his yellow ACC cable is wired into the CONS tap fuse? And the red batt cable into his ACC tap fuse is that correct? It’s seems backwards.
I bought a Viofo A229 Pro. The red wire is the Batt wire and the yellow wire is the ACC wire but some hardware kits are different. They should label the wires in the kit. Some other internet sites say that the colors are not standard. You have to look at the label.
I did it exactly as in the video but it didn't work, I connected the B2 cable to the cigarette lighter fuse and that's how the camera turned on, now to record when it is parked I don't know where to connect it.
I think you posted somewhere else that you have a 2023. Your fuse block may be different than mine.
I would like to know exactly which fuses to use Mojave 2023? thank you.
It is most likely Micro 2. You should be able to search the internet and confirm that. So, if you order fuse tap order Micro 2 as he did and I did with my 2021 Wrangler.

What do you do with the rear camera when you remove the top?
The rear camera has a quick disconnect. The camera goes with the top and the cable stays in place.
