    As a frequent visitor to Indonesia since 1976, who has developed deep relationships and close family ties, I must say that you have articulated so many things of the beautiful aspects of Indonesian culture so movingly and succinctly. The kindness, tolerance, morality, generosity and friendliness of the Indonesian people are a constant source of joy. I am impressed with your flexibility in engaging a foreign culture, and your beautiful positivity when faced with situations that must have felt challenging. You are a wonderful spokesperson for my second home. And as a fellow American, I feel that you genuinely represent us in a most positive light. Sangat mengharukan. Terima kasih Ethan 😊🙏🏼

      @@guacamolebelacan8094 yeah I believe visa free is still restricted :(

    • @marijancorluka4500
      @marijancorluka4500 3 роки тому

      It's restricted for all foreigners. I am Croatian and I called the Indo embassy in my city multiple times. Until January 1st, only foreigners with a good reason could come (emergency, family member, work, contributing to Indonesia in a way, like volunteering...). Even if you had a good reason, you would have to go through bunch of procedures to get a visa (which was not needed before covid) before going, like for example: find a sponsor in Indo who has 10k USD in their account, they have to confirm it, write a letter... then the covid proof, etc... Since January 1st to 14th, NOBODY could come to Indo, even if you had a reason. I called them yesterday again and the lady told me that Indo extended that regulation until 25. So for another 6 days, nobody can come, hopefully they won't extended it again and there will be a good new regulation. I want to go there asap without a visa, so hopefully they will open. If there is anyone planning to go and they see this comment, please reply so we can message about it and learn more about everything, especially now because everything is harder. Thanks.
