@@06bigd2000 I don't know how that's going to work. Gigi began developing real feelings for Alice and Nat. I feel like she got used by Nat and Alice and when it got too real, they just both dropped Gigi and that sucks. I'm glad Nat and Gigi resolved their issues but Gigi didn't deserve that.

I don't know... I was somewhat disappointed, honestly. Yes, the polyamory was hot. But it was interesting, too. And, I liked the dynamic of a love triangle that wasn't about a third wheel out in the cold. The three of them had a weirdly cute relationship. It only seemed to fail because of one person's insecurities. I'd like to see how something like that would work out for more than a week or two.
One of the most interesting dynamics I've seen was on Caprica, where a woman had several husbands, and wives. I'm sure there were some insecurity issues, but it looked like a quite pleasant relationship.
@@shayshay6814 By getting over it. The bit on the L Word didn't seem all that pleasant, for that reason, but the one on Caprica looked just fine.
lukus black Yeah as if it's that easy to just get over it. Not wanting an open relationship does not make you closed minded,and wanting one does not make you more progressive. Some people and some situations are not meant for polyamory and that's okay. Not to mention it was obvious the balance of love/caring was off in that relationship from the beginning. Gigi wanted her wife back, Alice wanted her girlfriend to be happy, and Nat couldn't move on from Gigi even though she still loved Alice. That was a disaster in the making so I have no idea why you're shocked and dissapointed.
@@dovahkiin2424 Not shocked, but yes, disappointed. I didn't say getting over something like that was easy, but it is possible. I never said that everyone should have one, not even on the show, just that it would be interesting to see a more long-lasting example.
@@shayshay6814 If you're into syfy, you might like it. It's a prequel series for Battlestar Galactica, having to do with robots, religion, and VR. I loved it, personally.
lukus black That’s how I felt. I liked their dynamic and it’s not something you see often. Would have been cool to at least let the season play out with them together. The writers went the obvious route with this one because I saw it coming a mile away.

Had Ilene Chaiken written this, Nat would've left Alice for Gigi because Gigi was a meddling predator who wanted Nat back no matter what. Marja wrote this in the logical way that Nat would see what a cancer Gigi was and chose Alice, the one she actually loves. I was so glad when she came back to Alice.

They must've broken up off-screen. In 6x08 (the series finale) Alice gave Tasha a choice after confronting her and Jamie about whether they had feelings for each other. Although Tasha had a crush on Jamie, it wasn't enough to pursue anything as she loved Alice. In the end, Tasha came back to Alice and stood by her when everyone was questioned about Jenny's death. It was left pretty open-ended regarding Tasha & Alice's relationship but in the end she chose her.
