At this meet in the video he did a three finger but i dont remember the amount he lifted. If i remeber right he was over eighty in this video. At 2:30 the guy in the dark blue suit is Brian Dobson the owner of the Original Metroflex Gym in Arlington Texas. He interviewed Roy at this meet for a cable tv show on sportsman channel

    • @walkhumblywithGod
      @walkhumblywithGod 6 років тому +44

      @Hakan you could probably be deadlifting 220 kg naturally in 3 yrs or less, never sell out to steroids, lift 2 times per week at the most. Eat clean 90% of the time, don't waste your money on protein powders, or supplements.... one of the BEST post workout recoverys you can consume is 2-3 glasses of 1% milk and a banana or 2. Eat lots eat lots of veggies, and lean meat, and 3-4 pieces fruit a day, walk for 45-60 minutes on 3 of your non-lifting days. My best lifts are 525 deadlift, 340 bench, 609 lb pull using a shrug cage, 525 squat with no suit. All 100 % natural, zero p.e.ds. All the glory belongs to YAHWEH and YESHUA!

      @@elijahmalone7705 a younger natural guy can get away with lifting 4 times a week for a while, I use to, but even then I noticed I and other guys would be getting injured and over trained... done right .. 2 sessions of lifting per week is plenty. I learned the hard way, you most likely will have to learn that way also. Respectfully, jp

In this video, he deadlifts roughly 485 lbs at 76 years old weighing only 151 lbs. That is truly incredible! RIP Roy

    1:56 The mythical old man strength. Though the muscles may be gone, the tendon strength still remains and the body remembers it's old strength. It's one quarter old dense tendons, one quarter muscle memory, one quarter pain tolerance and one quarter pure old man badassery. Don't count a man out until his heart stops beating. Even then, double check just to make sure.

      He is pulling an okay number as a young amateur may in that weight class. Old man is fairly tall - easy to hide long muscles. Look at Max Chewning as an example - his legs are similar but he deadlifts even more. It helps to be small lifting up until 500-600...

Compared to the future Bloated Big Ron you can even see how much his Nose, Lips and Skull grew... Not to mention how much his Stomach and Glutes did... His waist looks like it Tripled in Size! When your Stomach sticks out more than your Chest you've lost the most fundamental of all the principles in bodybuilding... HGH & IGF Ruined it All!

    Ronnie’s build in this video is amazing! I personally think this is his best look, his waist to shoulder ratio is insane much better look than the latter mass monster bubble gut look and as for the old guy pulling over 3x his weight if he juiced all his life he would of been the strongest guy in the galaxy and pulled Ron’s weight with his pinky!
