Jeff Bridges joins the Armchair Expert to discuss how he broke his mom’s heart as a teenager, learning how to stage fight, and why he travels with his own chair. Watch here: ua-cam.com/video/qVQg7HWpygo/v-deo.html
Newby here and loving you guys on UA-cam. (I try to use my phone as little as possible.) Thank you for the explanation of your Monday, Wednesday, Friday formats. Since UA-camrs are probably some of your newest followers, you could add this brief description in the description box below each video. You already state new episodes happen M-W-F, and you could just write something like: Monday- celebrity audio only + Fact Check; Wednesday-expert video + Fact Check; Friday-Armchair Anonymous (viewer stories)-audio only. Thank you so much for your hard work!
Thank you for your discussion of teachers. I have been a special educator for nearly 20 years. I appreciate your empathy and compassion. It’s truly a tough balance. Love to you both!
I'm a longtime listener / live show attendee and I love the new UA-cam component. I'll be flip flopping by mood or activity in between mediums, but LOVE the addition of UA-cam, so way to go producer-fiscal driven person that convinced you to take the leap! Let me know when my Friday slot is avail. Heh! XO
Dax, you were on the right track with the court wigs, but it was not ticks, but rather syphilis. Syphilis causes rashes, bald patches, and a foul odor, so scented wigs fell into favor for the upper classes as wigs were expensive.
When we apply that concept to criminality, we can begin to understand crime from a completely different perspective. We often single out the crime and the criminal, isolating the context in which those two variables exist.
I’m so curious what Michael would say about people that have listened and/or read about his studies and opinions, that are now aware of their own biases from their in-groups. By that I mean, how that “enlightenment”, for lack of a better term, skews their perception of the world. For example, people that have learned, in varying degrees, what the Dunning-Kruger effect is, and how that may drive how they go about viewing themselves, and society in general.
Love your podcast, listening since day 1! Would love to hear a fellow Portuguese person on the pod, and would suggest Mariana Van Zeller, whom has a great show on national geographic called trafficked! It's a must!

Super grateful for the show explanation. I'm up to date but thank you!
Let's all marvel at the extra beautiful Dax in 🕶️🤓 extra monolith
Thanks for the explanation of the shows, I was thinking none of them came with video.
Actually look awesome. How are you getting so lean? I know you worked out a lot, but man it’s so difficult to do! Great work and dedication!👏🏼🙌🙂
Not actually, I wrote “DAX”😂

Monica is particularly beautiful in this episode!
Lookin good with the glasses Dax!
Also look at that double protein shake action going on. I guess you need one for each ham hock attached to your shoulders. 😂

Ive long said tribalism is generally bad for our civilization until we can learn to be playful with it like the pineapple on pizza debate.
I’m from liberty New York!!!’
I eat raw potatoes all the time. Peel. Slice, salt. I will say everyone thinks I'm weird though!
