      Hy John, this pads will work good with Makita po5000c? Y will use Sonax Perfect Finish and Sonax Cut&Finish. Y try to buy some pads, Koch Chemie and Rupes are viable option here in Romania, I find 5inch and 3 inch easy. Koch Chemie will be a little more expensive... but not deal breaker....if they are better than others. Y will start with this combo and later on with experience will explore more...😄 It's a little expensive when you're just starting..... Your channel helped me allot, and gived me confidence that y can do it myself, maybe as a professional later on..... Thank allot!

    Use Protector Wax in the snow foam Lance :) then you will get the best result. It makes a thick layer of foam that clinge to the surface for a long time and give mor or less 3 months of protection here in Norway.

    You should try PW in the foam Canon! Freaking genius! Spray on rins off. Works about 3 months up in Norway. In the summer. Winter about maybe 1. But dirt cheap and Works great!

    Their compounds probably are the best out there. Their H8.02 I used and honestly the paintwork had so much gloss after use that there was very little improvement after using a finishing polish.

    Love these new product videos. I’m personally a big fan of the Koch Chemie product range and I used the H8 on my Merc which has a ceramic clearcoat which is as hard as nails. The H8 was the only thing that came close also along with Rupes UHS polish and pads. The shampoo/soap I’m now using is the Koch Nano shampoo which I have to say is the absolute business. By far the best shampoo I’ve used and it can also be used in a snow foam cannon with great effect. The water beading and water displacement after washing is fantastic. As I say, I’m totally sold on the Koch Chemie range and it’s fantastic value. I’m going to buy the Pw protector wax for sure as if it’s as good as Gyeon wet coat then it’s bound to be better value. 👍🏼

      Hi mate, how's it going? Thiago Garcia Hi there, it’s a shame that Koch Chemie are so expensive in Brazil. To answer your question, there are of cause more products out there that do the same job but for me the polishes, APC and shampoos are superb. A little goes a long way so it might be worth it but all depends on what other products are available.

    Morning sir! Protector Wax I bought last year as a winter "sacrificial lsp". Have some experience with it. Cost effective - extreme. You can put it in regular spray bottle, mix 1:100 with water as a protection, dilute further as drying aid. This is a kind of product you were calling polymer bomb. There is a funny "white water thing" when you rinse it off. It gives shine! Measure it not on application but few hours later thou - my impression is the shine increases. Some polymer products does that. Type of look - plasticky one, but nice. Very curious of your test! Ah. It is nothing like slick in touch. Beads water well. Can say how long it lasts, but easily two weeks in full winter, between washes, then I was reapplying.

    Jon, how about M3.02 on mid-stiff pads? How much cut and finish is in this product?
    I like Protector Wax. This is extremely cheap and adds shine. Make sure you measure after it bonds and nets. One thing it can not do is sleek feel. It is grabby. There are also more potent products that will last longer but this one is fool proof, you can put as much as you like on the paint and never will get a streak.

I use this on the van for fresh clear coat. what would you personally recommend for me on my golf black Lc9x code its a 2014 car has been a bit neglected over the last couple of years looking for cutting compound and de swirling compound? and heads? if you can help that would be brilliant !! , Also does a da polisher make a lot of difference to the finishing stage as i've only ever used a standard rotary mop myself :) stay safe ! regards Dom .

      hey Dom, So you could replace the 3m green yellow and blue or fast cut and perfect it combo with H9 F6 and M3. You can still use those 3m abrasives to the same effect though they are decent enough. DA will help reduce machine marring, and help reduce over heating the paintwork and buffer trails. I think you will prefer the koch abrasives personally to 3m

    Another good vid Jon, is the M201 still your go to Micro Polish, and how does the M302 compare ? Cheers

      no Koch chemie is. I binned my M205 and M105. But only because it was old and I was never gonna finish it off. Mirror glaze abrasives are superb. In terms of compound I think the meguiars one was the only one which could match the gloss levels of H8 in my compound test. but H8 is less prone to dusting...
      I have way way way too many abrasives. all I need is H8 f5 m2 nothing else period. But someone else could say the same about another trio. theres some really good ones out there. best thing to do is just pick one and like use it untill its all gone AJ :)

      I think we all know that feeling of having to many products, but yours must be absolutely terrible. How about doing an up to date video about your favourite compound or finishing polish or even a combo as they are the same manufacturer, i'm sure the last video you did like this Scholl products S3 S20 and S40 were your favourites. Cheers ;)

    Can you use the red pad with h9 as one step on hard clear like with h9 and purple pad

    • @ForensicDetailing
      @ForensicDetailing  4 роки тому +1

      potentially but its not suitable really.. or I would say start with F6 and yellow. If you want to step up. Go H9 and yellow. If you really need to step up wit hH9 and red then its prolly not suitable for single stage... dunno

    Would you use the P3 as a 1 step polish? And the H9 and M3 as a 2 step polish? Let me know how you would go about using the products?

    • @ForensicDetailing
      @ForensicDetailing  4 роки тому +1

      think of P3 as like M3 with wax. so you could use it to finish out H9. Or you could use it on its own. But you would not use it if you were prepping for ceramic coating because of the wax.

    • @Yama83
      @Yama83 4 роки тому

      Forensic Detailing Channel right i see! So with a ceramic coating best use H9 then M3 and finish with ceramic coating to seal it but if no ceramic coating is applied best to use H9 and P3 if 2 step polish... what about a 1 step polish with a good micro cratching remove and a sealant what would you recommend? Or is just the F6 as a 1 step good enough without a sealant or whatever...?

      totally agree. when a credible rival sells euro made pads for 7 quid for 125ml (rupes) and your selling euromade pads for 13-14 quid. Its a very very hard sell and you wont temp 90% of the market to even try them. And you loose money long run by over pricing them. its the same with flex pads. Ive tried to feed this back polietly.

    Hi John,
    I like your videos a lot. But please go in translate and see how to pronounce the German Koch. In General, when translate, you never translate names. Like when I go in Germany, they pronouns croissant as in french.
    I myself am Bulgarian. I speak English, German, Swedish and Russian.
    Otherwise, keep going. Good stuff !!

    • @ForensicDetailing
      @ForensicDetailing  5 років тому +2

      yer I they are slotted in.. so like the protector wax will get test properly for the spray and rinse.. GSF will go in the next snow foam shootout. etc.. best way to learn about them beyond just using them is to compare them with other offerings. thats the name of the game and that what FDC was really the first channel to do on YT.
