    To get the rod spring out of the way... use a 6n1 multi screwdriver you probably have in a drawer somewhere.
    Use the smaller end, remove the screw insert and slide the tube end over the rod to push/ pull it out of the way.
    Super easy

    Yeah I am getting the metal magazine release I hope it helps with the reliability of the S15 mags. I og bought 3 S15 mags and I had to return 2 of then over reliability issues. One of them over failure to eject and the other over easily falling out of the mag well while shooting.

    I’m left handed. Can you switch the side of the mag release button to the right side of the pistol as well??

    5:39 "Feels great."
    Until you actually load it with rounds like one would in real life and then you realize the mags don't just slide in and click but need a good smack to seat.

    Tried shield arm video way first that remove spring pin then install mag catch then spring pin . But actually install spring pin isn’t easy so I tried your way not removing spring pin that was way easier and faster thanks ❤

    Can't get the mag release out. Doesn't matter how hard I pry or pull once it's in that opening, it doesn't come up. This gun is getting ready to go into a fire lol

    I have used this One, but I switched to NDZ. NDZ mag release is more in detail and funtion more softer. Somehow, S15 mag works better in NDZ mag release.

    Use a small needle nose plier to pull the spring out once you pop the spring out of the way and put back in. It is a lot easier.

      No need to pull the spring out. Just disengage it from the catch.

    Wish I could have seen the details of how you actually popped the spring out of its slot. That's the tricky part of this procedure.
    PS Pulling the spring completely out of its bottom hole, and the sliding it back in after installing the catch seems to be working for everyone.

    • @HP-hm3pn
      @HP-hm3pn Рік тому

      You pull it out with small needle nose pliers. It's roughly a 1.5 inch piece of metal you're pulling out. I just did it today. Very simple.

  • @--RSL--

    You can pull the spring out, fit the release then put it back in the wedge
    Hope u got rid of those plastic sights by now. 😂

    I bought these mags and mag catch, but after many months of reading about them there is no way I run them without testing at least 1,000 rounds, maybe 200rds per mag at least... Instead I am running the OEM 10rd mags in the holster and then +4 Tyrant extensions on OEM mags as backups. The reviews on these S15's are all over the place, not very reassuring at all.

      @pauliePwalnuts Рік тому

      I have both snd yes. My favorite though is g48. I'ts the length of a g19 but same frame as 43x. The 19x is a better combat pistol but not so much for conceal carry.
