The economy was on fire, gas was $5 a gallon, everyone was worried about the constant terror campaigns the mainstream media was propagating literally every day, movies were awful, every good band or franchise was done or very out of commission, nothing was funny (other than a few Chappelle skits), fashion was lame/boring (even when it was supposed to be trendy), and people Did Not. Feel. Free. Don't ever believe anybody if they praise the 2000's. It sucked.
The best thing about the 2000s was the rise of the internet and the 2000s had good video games movies and tv was not bad in my opinion but the 90s where better and its all great compared to now.
The 2000s when most people didn't use iPhones and youtube because it was just starting. Then it hit the 2010s and it became a must-have.
