I do NOT know how your bios is laid out so I am not much help here. This just gives you a general idea.

If you mess up in your BIOS- unplug comptuer, pop out battery on motherboard, wait 30sec, boot system.

Thank You! I didn't have the audio setting which you showed in the video, however I decided that "Set Defaults" in BIOS would be the next best thing. After 2.5 hours of uninstalling, reinstalling, disabling and other frustrations, resetting the bios settings did the trick. Thanks so much for this video.

When you got two graphic cards and one of them is integrated. I disabled my integrated graphic card in order to give my better graphic card a higher priority to let the game (ArmA II) run more smoothly.

Hii sir
I have m4n68t-m le v2 motherboard

hey guys my gpu isnt being detected everthing works fine fans go and everything on my gpu but its not being detected do you have to plug anything from ur gpu into ur monitor PLEASE FINE
Same.:(
LucasVlogs go look at his changing onboard graphic cards
i fixed it back 2 years ago, simply did not plug it hard enough it didnt make that click sound! still same pc now!
I know this is old but can you load the drivers before adding the gpu? My OS detected my card, the screen came on without the drivers installed. But as I was downloading the drivers, the screen went black. Now, it boots up fine with screen showing, recognizing the card while booting but after that, the screen goes black.
I'm thinking about installing the drivers then adding the card but in the past I've added the drivers while card was running. What say you?
Fucking install the drivers on nvidia and select the right drivers... the start nvidia axperience and update the nvidia software. Then it works
Thank you , that was a very good information.I just fix my Lenovo ThinkPad, which Intel and ATI graphic was mixing With each other and intell only pups up and I get Black Screen.Son now I couls dissable the Intel and using ATI graphic and secreen working ok :))Thanks again
Did it work ?
I should do a vid with this question. you cant upgrade your integrated graphics all you can do is simply put a another graphics card into your computer to run better. if you are on a laptop its game over. cant do much with laptops
Do I need to delete the integrated graphics driver to put another one in?
Can i boot pice nvme adoptor first through this setting? 🙄
I'm using asus laptop and i don't have anything related to chipset or video card settings in my bios at all! What do i do?
can't you disable the integrated graphics card from the device manager because i found it in there or you need to disable through the bios? sorry for the question this is my first time doing this stuff.
The title should be how to prioritize External Graphics Card in BIOS Settings. 😂😂😂
"Every motherboard is different."
So, I lost my DVI to VGA adapter to connect my Radeon 7750 to the monitor, and now I'm stuck with my integrated graphics until I can find it.
So.. My motherobard is something from Asus, I think. Can anyone tell me how to do this with no display? (wait, the opposite of this actually, since I want to ENABLE my integrated graphics)
Puru same here
Reset cmos
Thanks mate, so easy but took 10 minutes of other stupid posts to find you.
most video editing software runs on your video card. get a beefy one. if you have video through your 3rd party video card than the onboard should not be slowing things down. sometime the motherboard does video buffering using the onboard card. bump up the onboard graphics ram.

your motherboard may have an auto swap feature but I would manually do it to be safe. is your onboard graphics card an NVIDIA or an ATI? kuz if it is an ATI then you have conflicting display drivers and would be best to uninstall your onboard display drivers
So, after 11 years. I want to know if using the igpu while we have graphics card installed and if we don't change setting in bios. Then even if display cable is connected to graphics card it will still use igpu to do the most stuff?
Why no chipset configuration in advance?
Same problem
the only video that helped me
I recently came across the same issue. The new driver does not support the onboard graphics card therefore you can only use one or the other unless you roll back your driver. cheers
will this reduce the memory my video card uses because of it being integrated?

I've disabled my intel hd graphics accidentally because I thought it would switch directly to my dedicated graphics card. I have no idea what to do because after I had disabled my intel hd graphics the screen went black. Someone please help.
You need to reset your BIOS. You can do this by either setting the jumper for clear CMOS on the motherboard, or removing the BIOS battery (and laptop battery if it is a laptop). Wait a few minutes [replace battery (batteries)or jumper] then start the computer back up and you should be back in business.
Thank you its all sorted now thanks to you

In my case by default the integrated graphics controller of Intel Core i9-9900K is disabled. This is a good thing! Win OS is known to hog the CPU resources for graphics, not the GPU. That the best I can come up with. Look it up...
But i can't get in my BIOS, cuz my CPU(x4 860k) doesn't have integrated graphics... What do i do know??
I hope you've fixed this by now but you would just need to get a gpu

How I can reactivate?
Is this AwardBIOS? Because I picked up an old school computer and when I started it up, it did a beep code meaning that it did not detect the video card, then it decides to continue booting, except it checks my floppy drive (right now it's empty), and doesn't scan the other devices! The boot routine: 1. Floppy 2. WDC WD2000BB-00GUA0 (most likely my hard drive) 3. DVDRAM drive (I have 2 installed) and 4. Network. I cannot find a video disable/enable choice. Please help!
Thanx man it works:)

Yeah it turns out i had to re-wire my entire system as my pc was pre built and i didn't realize it at the time but the power cable to the GPU was hidden behind the case its self basically i had the wrong wire plugged in xD
+Mike_ James1 but the 750 ti doesn't require a power connector as it is powered from the pcie express slot

My integrated graphics cards uses some of my normal ram if I disable this will I restore the missing to gb of ram?
if i disable graphic card will it increase my ram/performance ? and if i disable it will i be able enable it later from bios or install it from site?
It'll free up some RAM, of course. IGP eats RAM, while it's enabled. So, if you have a dedicated graphics card, make sure to disable IGP, and remove IGP driver
