I have this problem on many dell optiplex pc's with displayport . Sometimes its fixed by disconnecting and reconnect the displayport cable. It usually happens if the computer monitor goes to power save mode.
Oddly enough, I had a Customer who recently brought in his Computer today. In the end, he had a bad motherboard, but what were the odds you would post a video the same day that I had someone bring in a computer for no signal.

I'd rather not open my PC if it isn't necessary but I do not see an option to "enable integrated" in the BIOS. Should I just reset to default settings? (I'd rather not again because I had to enable a few features that I'm not sure I kept notes on: virtualization for example I remember was hard to find).
May I ask you how I can make Windows/Desktop run on Integrated GPU(I5 8400) while other apps/games run on dedicated GPU(1060 6GB)? Any tips are appreciated.
I recently bought a gaming PC with a missing cpu and graphics card. I was going to resell it because I thought I need to buy a cpu and graphics card right away and that can be a bit pricey. Well I just found out that some CPU have integrated. Thanks I think this tip with some in handy if I don't get a signal once I install the new cpu
Oh tnx mate, that solved my problem. I turned off integrated graphic and puted new so i haved blank screen on both, now il check again how to enable my new graphic card
Thank you so much. You made my day. I have been frustrated over this issue for a quite some time especially since its not even loading into bios. Your method was my last resort and it saved the day. thank you again. :)
tnx, it worked for me. "Caution 🚧" In MSI H510m pro-e if u turn off or restart the PC, it goed to the default setting once again. you have to go to the BOIS Setting and set the default Graphic to integrated graphics device (IGD) then save and reboot. If u don't change this option u have to exit the battery once again.
The battery trick did not work for me. Have ASUS Prime B450 Plus with Rizen 7 3800x. All the fans and RGB lights are running but get no video with integrated video. No error beeps or light flashing. Don't know if it should at least beep once during boot. It does none of that.
IT WORKED BIG THANKS TO YOU i was all night wonderig why it doesnt start and everyone said to re set the cpu and u know its hard work... you were my last chance and didnt believe it would work thank you
Thank you very much! I was trying to remove my GPU (RX560) and use the integrated Radeon Vega graphics (R3 3200G) because I'm trying to use my PC for school purposes and the iGPU can do the job done for that which I think would consume less power(?) correct me if i'm wrong.
Man i don't know if you can help me, but i'm in a bad situation. One day my PC started to present some noises, and it was inciating perfectly with my offboard graphic card, I tried to find out the cause of the noises, i opened the pc and unplug the graphic cards, and plugged everything back, so when i started the pc, my pc doesen't show back video signal with hdmi connected in offboard graphics, but in onboard graphics it works perfectly. I don't understand, i tried many possible solutions and no one of them worked.
My screen broke on my laptop it went black so with a secondary screen through hdmi cable just reading what someone said on reddit I went to device manager and disabled the intel graphics and now non of my screens work any help would be appreciated I tried pressing f8 f2 delete and nothing works
These didn’t work for me which sadly means my CPU is dead after only two days of usage… Thank you for the video gave me some hope for a final attempt to fix this thing

I'd rather not open my PC if it isn't necessary but I do not see an option to "enable integrated" in the BIOS. Should I just reset to default settings? (I'd rather not again because I had to enable a few features that I'm not sure I kept notes on: virtualization for example I remember was hard to find).
If you shut it down and hold the power after removing the power cable it will drain it as well not sure you have to take out the battery
WHAT A LIFE SAVER I LOVE YOU MANNN!!! :D
May I ask you how I can make Windows/Desktop run on Integrated GPU(I5 8400) while other apps/games run on dedicated GPU(1060 6GB)?

I recently bought a gaming PC with a missing cpu and graphics card. I was going to resell it because I thought I need to buy a cpu and graphics card right away and that can be a bit pricey. Well I just found out that some CPU have integrated. Thanks I think this tip with some in handy if I don't get a signal once I install the new cpu

Resetting bios via cmos battery didn’t work for me
This is the exact video I was looking for. Thank you very much for making this video...
Thank you so much. You made my day. I have been frustrated over this issue for a quite some time especially since its not even loading into bios. Your method was my last resort and it saved the day. thank you again. :)
fantastic advise this saved me a massive headache, worked perfectly.
Excellent Video Brian
Thanks Steve

"Caution 🚧"
In MSI H510m pro-e if u turn off or restart the PC, it goed to the default setting once again. you have to go to the BOIS Setting and set the default Graphic to integrated graphics device (IGD) then save and reboot. If u don't change this option u have to exit the battery once again.
I don’t even have an integrated graphics option
Same did you find a fix ?
@@zacshelock8432 its probably the type of cpu you have,if it the model you have has f at type end then it doesnt have IG
The battery trick did not work for me. Have ASUS Prime B450 Plus with Rizen 7 3800x. All the fans and RGB lights are running but get no video with integrated video. No error beeps or light flashing. Don't know if it should at least beep once during boot. It does none of that.
what do you do if the motherboard dosnt have a cmos battery
I have this same problem and this did not revolve my issue
What did you do to fix?
@@lukeshoener9053 bought a cpu n a gpu
IT WORKED BIG THANKS TO YOU i was all night wonderig why it doesnt start and everyone said to re set the cpu and u know its hard work... you were my last chance and didnt believe it would work thank you
Thank you very much! I was trying to remove my GPU (RX560) and use the integrated Radeon Vega graphics (R3 3200G) because I'm trying to use my PC for school purposes and the iGPU can do the job done for that which I think would consume less power(?) correct me if i'm wrong.
Your RX 560 will probably use more power than the built-in GPU
So I have done this and it loads into bios, and it'll start to load windows but as soon as it tries to go into windows it cuts to black again. Ideas?
I ended up doing an RMA and getting a brand new replacement from AMD for free. So it was the chip
Thank you! Finaly someone who explains stuff that works
Mr2
Man i don't know if you can help me, but i'm in a bad situation. One day my PC started to present some noises, and it was inciating perfectly with my offboard graphic card, I tried to find out the cause of the noises, i opened the pc and unplug the graphic cards, and plugged everything back, so when i started the pc, my pc doesen't show back video signal with hdmi connected in offboard graphics, but in onboard graphics it works perfectly. I don't understand, i tried many possible solutions and no one of them worked.
will try this out later, fingers crossed that my pc will post. thanks for the video!
Dear Britec, i just want to say THANK YOU for this video. It works!

What cpu ur using?
This helped tons. I’m liking the video immediately. Also found out that my PSU was faulty after testing a known working PSU on my motherboard.
How long do you hold the power button?
Thanks for the video. Seems it has helped a lot of people. Unfortunately i still get black screen. Any other suggestions? Thanks
